Bun B is widely recognized as a hip-hop legend, especially in his hometown of Houston. He originally blew up in the industry in the early 90s, as he and his close friend, the late Pimp. C, were in the group UGK. The two were definitely an iconic duo for two decades, as Pimp ended up passing away in 2007. Bun still continued to put out solo albums though, and still held it down on his own.
Bun has been doing great things in Houston lately, such as being a professor at Rice University, where he taught about hip-hop and religion. Now, another impressive endeavor in Houston is being rolled out.
Bun has announced that he’s started his Trill Burgers restaurant, in Houston. This comes after previously launching his own beer, Brew GK.
“For years I’ve been fascinated with the culinary scene, trying to find the best entry point for me. Today I can say I’ve found it. Join me in welcoming @trillburgers to the world!
