Even though the actor played coy a few weeks back when he was asked directly about a potential cameo appearance in the Disney Plus streaming series, with a lot of folks expecting Kang to be revealed as the brains behind the TVA, it was still a shock to discover the actor played a full-blown supporting role in the last episode, as opposed to a brief tease.

Majors was confirmed for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania almost a year ago, so it was old news that the time traveling warlord was on his way to the MCU. However, Marvel still pulled the rug out from under us all by confirming that we’re not getting one big bad, but countless variants of him, most of whom will have malicious intentions.

Obviously, Sony would need to get on board to give us what would be the no doubt glorious sight of Tom Holland and Tom Hardy shooting hoops as their respective superhero alter egos, but you can nonetheless guarantee the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania speculation is set to kick up several notches. Production is underway on the threequel, and with Loki setting the stage, the theory that the TVA operate out of the Quantum Realm is still very much in play based on how things went down.
