I just got a Google TV and the interface is an absolute nightmare. Ads and suggested content are on literally every screen of the interface. FLauncher is outstanding. I was able to use it to display "just the apps" and, in combination with Launcher Manager, I've been able to completely replace the godawful default Google TV launcher. This app prevented me from returning a TV to the store, so that's saying something.

Feels like a "real" launcher i can replace the stock with on my shield. Does the only thing i want it to- show me my apps and give me a simple favorites row. One bug/disagreement i have is that scrolling all the way to the right on the favorites row moves you up to the settings button, and then to the right hand most app in the main app row. So if you try to hold press (which nicely accelerates for fast scrolling like the stock menu) and quickly go from one end to the other, you might overshoot past the favorites row. Apparently this app has existed for about 5 minutes so that's ok lol. Plus It's made with flutter which is nifty. Glad i found this, it was way down the search results list.

As of this writing, there are only two actively developed Android TV launchers (most haven't been updated in years), and this is one of them. It's also the only FOSS one. Even though it's still new, it has pretty close to feature parity with the longer standing Android TV launchers out there, and the planned roadmap bring it to equal or better. It is already stable and usable as a main launcher. With more time, I think it will end up being the best Android TV launcher. Edit: And as of 0.13.1, FLauncher is already equivalent to ATV Launcher Pro except for a few minor customization options and widget support.
