Luke Adler lives for his ranch. It’s the only reason he agreed to get on board with his sister’s grand plan for guests staying on the property.

Nothing prepares him for the force of nature that is Samantha Morrison. When she arrives on his ranch to help construct this new part of his business, what he expects and what he gets are two entirely different things.

He expects a no-nonsense businessman. Straightforward and simple.

What he gets is a sunshine smile, sweet sass, and a woman who pushes every button and boundary he has.

He tries to ignore the draw, the urges she makes him feel. But when she gets close, he only wants her closer.

She makes him question his decisions, his thoughts, and the idea that being alone is best for him.

Even when they are consumed by the fire between them, he knows they come from two different worlds and he has to let her go.

But when the time comes, can he do that?
Can he live without her sunshine to warm his cold heart?
Or can this cowboy learn a new trick?

Author's Note: Heat and heart fills the pages as our heroine learns to ride a horse and tame a grumpy cowboy in rural Alberta.

Sunshine & Sammy is book five in the Vested Interest: ABC Corp series by Melanie Moreland. I’ve been waiting FOREVER for this book. For Melanie to write this sexy, grumpy cowboy. And Luke most definitely fits these descriptions. I can’t wait to tell you about him. And the woman who turns his world upside down.

Luke Adler is forty years old and has lived at River Rock Ranch all his life. The ranch is everything to him but with the beef industry so unpredictable, they aren’t where they need to be financially. So his younger sister, Rachel, came up with a plan. To offer a sort of glamping experience to visitors for a few months out of the year. He wants to save the ranch and wants his sister to be happy so Luke somewhat reluctantly agrees. A man named Sam is supposed to be coming to spend a few weeks at the ranch to help initiate the new business. Only Sam wasn’t a man at all. Sammy was every bit a woman, a very attractive woman, and Luke wanted no part of her.

Samantha “Sammy” Morrison is Van Morrison’s adopted daughter from the previous book, Van. She has made a very successful career out of helping small businesses make improvements and turn things around. She is very excited to spend six weeks at River Rock Ranch. Only she wasn’t prepared at all for the older grumpy brother of the woman she’s been dealing with over the past few months. But Sammy wastes no time at all putting the “cowboy” in his place and letting him know who’s the boss.

“You’re going to be trouble for me, aren’t you, Lady? Big trouble.”
“I’ll try not to be.”
“I don’t think either of us can stop it.”

These two together were like a match to gasoline. All it took was a touch and sparks were flying. Sammy challenged Luke in every way possible and though he wouldn’t admit it, I believe he liked it. He liked the arguing, the banter. It added to their chemistry. But Luke has been hurt, not once but twice. He’s given up on love. It might be fine for other people but not for him.

“Under his cool exterior, he was passion and fire. I liked that side of him. The way he lost control with me.”

Could they just enjoy each other for the duration of Sammy’s stay? Could he let her just walk away when the time came? He needs to. Because forever is not for him. And Sammy is a forever kind of girl.

This was an amazing book. I loved the push and pull between these two. I loved that the author took their passion to new heights in this book. Luke was grumpy but also soft, jealous, possessive, yet tender and caring. Together they were fire and ice!

This was an amazing book. And Melanie did it again with the epilogue. My eyes watered, a lot. She writes the BEST epilogues. You’ll get plenty of cameos from all of Sammy’s “uncles” and of course some antics from Aiden. What would we do without those?! This is another wonderful addition to this series and I finally got my cowboy! Thank you so much, Melanie Moreland.

"You turned my world upside down, yet somehow righted it at the same time."
I really enjoy Melanie’s books, but this one had sort of a dream-like quality that made me enjoy it even more. Maybe it was the rolling hills, mountains, and streams in the rural Canadian landscape. Maybe it was the sense of family and belonging. Maybe it was the cowboys - or farmhands. Maybe it was all of it.
This book, and Luke and Sammy, definitely brought some sunshine to my life.

"I’d thought he was handsome before. Smiling, he was downright dangerous."
Luke. Luke is absolutely everything you need wrapped up in tight jeans and wearing a cowboy hat. He’s devoted, passionate about what he does and his life on the ranch. He's a protector, caring and giving, but he wants nothing for himself. Like he’s not worth it. And damn, he’s worthy of so much.

"She smiled, sunshine and Sammy all rolled up together."
I loved Sammy. She comes from money but she doesn’t act like it. She’s her own woman, living her dream, the way she wants it. She has an amazing family and loves what she does. There’s nothing missing. Until she comes to the Adler ranch, that is.

"You’re going to be trouble for me, aren’t you, Lady? Big trouble."
"I’ll try not to be."
"I don’t think either of us can stop it."

Sammy has her own TV show where she helps businesses get up on their feet. Remodel, revamp, rebrand. The Adlers at River Rock Ranch apply, hoping she can help them turn part of the ranch into a tourist destination. Everything seems to be going smoothly, until she meets the grumpy owner of the ranch. Rachel, his sister, has been an absolute delight, but him? He’s going to be a totally different thing.

"Here, I am the boss of you. That should piss me off. But for some reason, it only made me breathless."
Sammy and Luke are very attracted to each other from the start. It complicates her plans, because she doesn’t get involved with the people she’s helping. It’s even worse for him, the guarded, broken, delightfully bossy rancher. It all turns into some very interesting tension between them, and a lot of great banter, until they finally let go.

"There’s nothing reasonable about how I feel when you’re close."
These two are a forest fire waiting to happen. I loved them. He’s the perfect mix of sexy and possessive, and she’s not gonna take anything lying down. The way they fight each other each step of the way while sorting out their differences in bed (and other places) keeps you turning the pages. It’s hard to miss the way they catch feelings. And the small details and the ranch backdrop are just so incredibly good.

"I loved that smile. It was rare, and it felt like mine."
Turns out there are layers to Luke Adler. A lot of them. Turns out Sammy is more than willing and able to peel them all, along with his clothes, every time. All he has to do is trust, and that doesn’t come easy for him.

I haven’t read the other books in this series, but I feel like I have to. Her family is absolutely amazing! And family doesn’t necessarily have to be blood. If you have love, you’re already halfway there.

"You made me forget it wasn’t forever."
These two characters stole my heart along the way. While she’s remodeling the ranch, she’s putting his heart back together too, filling his dark spaces with her sunshine. Because sometimes, home finds you.

If you’re wild for cowboys then you will love Sunshine and Sammy, the latest in the second-generation Vested Interest series by Melanie Moreland, which can be read as a standalone. Luke Adler technically is a rancher, but wears a Stetson, wields an ax in nothing but his tight jeans and tee shirt, rides a horse, and lives off the land. He’s a bossy boss, and his sexy smolder will have you all hot and bothered in no time.

Luke didn’t get his muscles from a gym, but by working sun-up to sun-down at the family homestead that he and his sister, Rachel, inherited in Alberta, Canada. He’s a growly grump until he meets our sweet heroine, and she upends his life completely. He can admit when he’s wrong and grovel like the best of them, and I so enjoyed watching their love story unfold.

Samantha Morrison is Liv and Van’s daughter, from Van, which I LOVED. She is an independent businesswoman who created her own niche helping businesses reinvent themselves to turn a profit. She offers suggestions, films and edits the improvement projects, gets hands-on with the renovations. She was so impressed with Rachel’s proposal, and helps launch River Rock Ranch into a fabulous travel destination for tourists wanting the “cowboy/ranch” outdoor experience.

I was so impressed with all of her ideas and thought process and how her family pitched in to help as well. Her father is a professional carpenter and has loved her from their very first meeting. She was adopted, along with her brother and sister, who are all very close.

Melanie not only writes characters you will love, but pulls you into the story so you feel as if you are there. I felt so at peace reading about the beauty of the ranch and just their way of live –hard work, neighbors helping neighbors, dinners by the fire, the beautiful expansive scenery, taking care of the animals. I could go on and on, but I loved every minute of reading these magical scenes which tied in so well with the storyline.

Luke does give her a hard time and is even rude at times, and Sammy holds nothing back. Our girl is sweet, smart and often sassy, and can even flip this giant hunk of a man onto his back when needed. You go girl! It was emotional reading how he recognized what a gift she was, and how he could be loved and accepted for the man he was. The only thing I didn’t care for is her nickname “Lady” and that he rarely said her real name.

They both admired and encouraged each other, and found joy and serenity in their life together. There’s a big grand gesture at the end when he gets his head out of his butt, and the only thing that would have made me happier is if their wedding day was included in the storyline. I always love Melanie’s epilogues because they give you a peak into their future and it was everything they deserved and more. I just wish scenes from their wedding were included, but I can use my imagination!

Love this family. Love this book and highly recommend.

Grumpy vs Sunshine is this cowboy vs city girl who fights every turn to not give into the chemistry that boils off the page. Park your horse and get to one-clicking this gem to devour.

I have read and re-read this book too many times to count.* As part of the team, I need to pull lines for teasers and excerpts. But as I turn the page to a bookmarked scene, I cannot help myself but get lost in this engaging story writing. I know when I pick up a Melanie Moreland book it is going to deliver swoons, heat, and heart. This book not only delivered all that but MORE.

"Are you going to be snarky and rude all day?
“Maybe sarcastic and indifferent. Haven’t decided. Get in the saddle and find out.”

That subtle-not-so-subtle banter between the MC's, Luke & Sammy, knocks you in the funny bone without being OTT ridiculous. The banter is delivered to showcase Sammy's independence and Luke's hawt yet grumpy butt. The writing conveys real people with real feelings. Nothing impossible or improbable. The chemistry ignites to a slow burn from the first meet-cute and continues to smolder until Luke can't help but give in.

I already understood that Sammy wasn’t like most women. In fact, I was certain no one else on the planet even came close.

Let's address the elephant in the room. Standalone or series required? I used to be the series in order captain of police. As time passes and so many books to read, I've tempered my stance. Does reading VAN a requirement? No, but adds to the experience. Is reading books 1-4 a requirement? Definitely not. The book does not dwell on primary characters or touch on other scenes from other books. Now, I dare you NOT to go back if this is your gateway read - but it is definitely a gateway book in the wonderful world of Contract/Vested Interest/ABC Corp that Ms. Moreland has built.

“You want to be my partner?”
“I want to be your everything.”

It is lines like that that make you fall in love with these characters and never let go. Their journey sticks with you - not because it is funny. Not because it is hawt. Not because of the tender moments. It is all of the above.

I loved Luke so so much! Grumpy, dirty talker that checked all the hero boxes. AND Sammy - it’s so hard for authors to write a strong, self-assured, independent heroine WITHOUT readers complaining she is ‘unapproachable’ aka a witch. Sammy came off perfect. Just the right amount of spunky and vulnerability.

Once again this is written beautifully. The stellar pacing and story flow of this seasoned writer are not to be missed from your bookshelf. Ms. Moreland does not take a heavy hand with one of the elements of humor, heat, or heart. She blends the words perfectly to turn out something that you will talk about with fellow readers for days. PS the epilogue is everything.

*I am transparent that I have a relationship with Ms Moreland. Yes, I do. I do because I have loved everything she has written since Over The Fence. I may have some bias but frankly, her writing is solid.

The heartthrob I never saw coming delivers a heartache I won't soon forget. Sammy and Luke are as turbulent as a raincloud chasing after a rainbow. Moreland digs deep into the heart. Sunshine & Sammy sneaks up on the soul with a force that can only be described as breathtaking.

I am so in love with the BAM family and was so excited when Melanie started the ABC series which is about their children! This book is about Sammy, aka Mouse, Liv and Van's daughter. When she travels to a ranch in Alberta for her business, she has an unpleasant encounter with Luke Adler, the brother of Rachel, the woman Sammy has been corresponding with. Luke is rude and gets flipped on his back by the tiny Sammy. They are both intrigued with each other and try to resist it due to the dislike.

The whole Sammy experience engaged me as well as it did Luke and everyone else who met her. From her wanting happy cows and chickens (they produce more milk and eggs, of course) to wanting to "lock" the horse, I found myself smiling all through the book. Watching the grumpy Luke change under Samny's effervescent personality was nothing short of miraculous. And the chemistry between these two! Hot! Hot! Hot!

The ending was just like a movie! Swoon worthy! And the epilogue! Just the best! The Bonus Epilogue you can download is a sneak peak back in Sammy and Luke's courtship and someone gets karma! So satisfying! Loved it! Loved it all! Just a great book! I wish I could give it more than 5 STARS!

Of course you see the OG Bam boys and women which I love see and even Dick pops in! I love that we are getting to see second generation BAM kids so keep these stories coming!

Absolutely one of my favorites!! Luke Adler - local curmudgeon…..burned before and won’t let it happen again…..until a little ray of sunshine named Sammy showed up at the ranch at his sister behest. Then his wonderful and rigid life came to a halt. He fought it because well, he didn’t need her or want her…..right? Sammy, a ray of sunshine. Passionate about her work helping others. She lived by her own rules until she saw Cowboy. The attraction was instant. And he was infuriating! But Sammy was raised to stand her ground and stand her ground she did. This story is about life and love. It’s about learning to live in the present and letting go of the past. It’s about realizing what your future can be if you let love in! I loved it! It was funny yet so heartfelt! It was something uniquely different and as always, Melanie makes you fall in love with her amazing characters!! Amazing!!

Sunshine & Sammy
(Vested Interest: ABC Corp #5)
Written by: Melanie Moreland

Quick reader history – I’ve know Sammy since she was five years old, so to read her story when she’s all grown up, I can’t say that I was surprised that she was a bundle of knowledge and beauty with a go-get-‘em attitude! Just like her mom! Now she’s off to Alberta to help change the future for River Rock Ranch and it’s owner Luke Adler and his sister Rachel.

There are a few things Luke Adler needs to learn when dealing with the women in his life:
1. Listen to his sister when she tells him all about the wonderful opportunity Sammy (Sam) has offered them.
2. Never assume that name means an older man with a white beard is who you are looking for at the airport.
3. Never, ever point a finger in a lady’s face (Sammy) there will be CONSEQUENCES!
4. Apologize for all of the above mistakes!

Now that the air has been cleared, be prepared for two people from totally different walks of life, let alone provinces to give you laughs, adventure, horse riding and so much more. With the underlying hotter than an Alberta summer attraction between Luke and Sammy, well let’s just say keep a fan close by. These two might just set the ranch on fire.

Like all of her books, Melanie Moreland has given us a man that is need of being shown how love can change his life and a “mouse” who is more than happy to be that person.

I laughed, I thought of singing country songs and I thoroughly enjoyed every page of this book.

I know I fall for a grumpy hero every time and Melanie Moreland writes them to the grumpiest perfection. I loved Luke from the first scene. He has no patience for anything but his ranch and sometimes his sister. It’s why he’s at the airport to pick up the consultant that will hopefully change the ranch’s future. Who he finds there is nothing of what he expected. Sammy is a person with vision. She can make a struggling business flourish but only with the owner’s being all in. What she finds when she gets off the airplane is a lot of resistance. Even turning that resistance on his head may not even crack his thick skull. The story develops naturally and with so much chemistry, you could blow up the lab. The denial between them both had me wanting to smack sense into them both. I loved their time as two people together but when Sammy’s family comes into the picture, you couldn’t wipe the smile off my face. They swept in and made things a ton more real for them both.

Sparks fly when Sammy takes on a job at the Adler Ranch and comes face to face with the owner Luke is non too happy that she is there. But can this city girl prove to the country boy that the two of them are for real and that the walls he has built around his heart need to come down? Or will this just be a romance that has a timetable and they will both be able to walk away when the job it done? These second generation storylines warm the readers hearts. Bring past characters into these books only brings them to a higher level. Melanie Moreland creates masterpiece after masterpiece that her readers cannot help but fall in love with. I only hope that his is not the last one in the Vested Interest Series. I will be sad to see this one end.

Although Luke understands that his sister’s plans for the ranch will help them financially, he isn’t looking forward to his ranch being invaded by the person she has hired to make changes which would appeal to the visitors they are trying to draw. He is even less impressed when he finds out she is a woman especially when it comes to the chemistry between them.

Sammy has a way of knowing exactly what changes a business needs to make to ensure its ongoing viability. She may be attracted to Luke, but she isn’t about to back down from anyone and that includes a surly cowboy. As they spend time together the sparks fly but will their romance end when the job does?

Luke’s romantic past has shown him that he is never enough and he believes that Sammy will be the same but friends and family aren’t about to let him lose the best thing that ever happened to him. Hot chemistry, captivating characters and all the feels will have you invested in Sammy, Luke and their happiness.

Grumpy cowboys meets his match in a big way!

Sammy and Luke strike sparks from their very first, very memorable meeting. The push and pull between them is undeniable and they soon give into their growing desire but rules have been made and it might break them as a couple to bend them.

What a story!! Luke is the definition of grumpy. Watching him slowly soften to Sammy was a thing of beauty. There were times I was ready to flip him too (read the book!!) but in the end he more than made up for it!! If you've read the BAM books you know Sammy from Van. What a treat to see her all grown up and just as sassy and full of spirit as she was when she was six.

Great addition to this amazing series!!

Melanie Moreland has another beautiful, and spicy, love story to share within the pages of Sunshine & Sammy. Pairing a grumpy cowboy with a sunshiny city girl may seem like a cliche, but not in Moreland’s hands. Instead, readers get serious steam between two beautifully developed characters, and an HEA worth chasing after.
Readers will fall in love with Luke despite his growly, short-tempered, bearish behavior, or maybe because of it. Who doesn’t love a man fighting his own emotions, and his past, who wants to do all the right things even though he’s terrified to try? And Sammy is the friend everyone wants in their corner; caring, smart, creative, independent, and not afraid to go after what she really wants. Moreland does a wonderful job of revealing their true personalities, needs, and desires to each other, the readers, and ultimately themselves. And it all comes together perfectly.
If you’re a reader looking for fireworks between the characters, tears between the laughter, and a reason to stay up reading late into the night, Sunshine & Sammy is all of that, and so much more.

Four and a half stars

Sunshine and Sammy by Melanie Moreland is the fifth in her Vested Interest: ABC Corp series, but stands well alone.

Samantha Morrison, Sammy to her friends, is an extremely successful independent marketing consultant and has contracted to work her magic on a ranch. When she arrives, she immediately butts heads with Luke Adler, one of the ranch owners, who is anxious about the potential changes to ranch operations and wary of the additional work it may entail.

Melanie Moreland does a terrific job with this grumpy-sunshine story, and writes very convincing characters who take that headlong tumble into love. Luke is a classic grump, with admittedly good reason for being so, while Sammy is a wonderfully smart, capable, and simply delightful woman.

Ms Moreland lets us witness their epic clashes and the fiery sparks that erupt in their wake. The ranch staff and Sammy’s family are well-written secondary characters that also shine.

Sunshine and Sammy is a lovely feel-good read.

Well I didn't think it would happen but I have found a new favorite Melanie Moreland book. I loved everything about Sammy and Luke's story. From visiting with Van in the beginning reminding us where Sammy's roots are. Then to see how sweet and caring Luke is with his sister Rachel. You know he'd do anything for her.
But the fun begins when Luke and Sammy have to work together. They push and pull, constantly challenging each other and for the first time in a long time Luke truly sees the Sunshine .
I have voluntarily left this review.

Opposites attract in this story. Sunshine city girl, Sammy who thinks love is for others but just not for herself. Grumpy, hard headed cowboy Luke doesn’t believe in love.
Right from their first meeting when Luke abandons Sammy at the airport sparks fly all around whenever these two spar.

“We agreed on the rules.” I sniffed. “I just broke them.”
Dad smiled, shaking his head. He cupped my face. “There are no rules with love. That’s a hard lesson to learn, my girl.”

Sunshine and Sammy is a great blend of emotional romance and really fun romcom.

“…Except Dusty didn’t want to move when I tugged on her reins.
“How do you get her in reverse?” I mumbled, looking over my shoulder.”

I have this book in both ebook and audiobook and the audio was perfection! I just loved listening as the narrators brought the characters to life.

I received this in exchange for a honest review.
First I would like to say to Mrs Melanie Moreland when I received this book I was ready to dive in and devour it like your others, it didn't happen with this one when I was at 60% I started pacing my self cause I didn't want it to end.
Wow Holy Hotness I wish I could give this book more stars
Luke and Sammy story is a grumpy and Sunshine age gap.
I am so in love with this story it is perfection, Luke is grumpy cowboy, Sammy is pure sunshine. From the moment they met you could feel the attraction even if one of them didn't want to admit it. If you have read Vested interest Sammy is Van and Liv's Daughter you don't need to but I recommend it.
Reading any of Melanie's books is like coming home and visiting family and making new friends. Love the connection and the realistic story lines how the characters are imperfect but for perfect for each other.

Luke nor Sammy were looking for love when they met though he had no idea that Sammy was a she and not a he when until they first meet. Melanie will have you go through all the feels in this one. She’ll have you laughing and then she’ll have you crying. There is a happy ending after the crying thank goodness. Luke just needed to pull his head out of his behind and realize that what he and Sammy has can be real.

And once again, Melanie Moreland has given me a book that leaves me with an enormous smile on my face and a happy, uplifted heart.

𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗘 & 𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗠𝗬 is the fifth book in the Vested Interest: ABC Corp series and was an unputdownable, read in one sitting romance. I was lost from the moment I started reading Sammy and Luke’s story.

There is something very special in the way Melanie writes her characters. She brings them to life on the page and you quickly become invested in them and their lives. I found myself immersed in all the good things about Cowboy and Lady and needed to know how their story played out, like it was my job.

Both characters were strong and I enjoyed watching two mature adults navigate their feelings for one another and find their soulmates in each other. I couldn’t have imagined a more magical happily ever after.

I’m giving 𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗘 & 𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗠𝗬 the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval, TBR and Enjoy.

5 star Review Sunshine & Sammy (Vested Interest: ABC Corp #5) by Melanie Moreland

I am loving this next generation series; Sunshine & Sammy (I adore this title) was a fabulous addition to what has quickly become one of my favourite series. This time we have Olivia and Van’s daughter Samantha (Sammy) Morrison in the spotlight and the man who wins her heart, Luke Adler.

Luke lives for the ranch that he and his sister Rachel own and the last thing he needs is to be attracted to Sammy, the woman who explodes into his life when she arrives to help construct part of their new business venture. I have to say their interactions made me smile as she sent Luke into a spin, disrupting his well ordered and planned out life.

From the first paragraph to the last I was drawn into the story that Ms. Moreland wove and read this book in almost one go. I fell hard and fast for Luke, he ticked all the boxes for me and you cannot help but be drawn to Sammy’s vibrant personality.

The push and pull dynamic of their relationship made for entertaining reading and I was sad when the book ended.

Luke is a grumpy, sexy, possessive cowboy that's dealing with past hurts, but still has a soft center filled with love, passion and the need to protect what he loves. Sammy is an independent, hard working woman filled with sunshine, love, and the perfect amount of sass. I absolutely love how these two build each other up bring out the best in one another! The push/pull was was enough to keep you turning the pages waiting to see what happens next, and omg the chemistry between these two is 🔥🔥🔥 The side characters and family helped to enhance the story without taking over, even though I could never get enough of seeing our BAM family! This story is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy goodness

Oh the fireworks between this pair!! This book lit my heart and soul up like the Fourth of July. I devoured Sammy and Luke’s book in one sitting. This pairs journey had me so consumed that adulting was put on hold while I got so caught up in their love story. Sammy’s story may take place away from Port Albany but it is no less captivating and the cameos from some family members was definitely a welcome surprise. I either laughed out loud or swooned with every page turned. Melanie Moreland has penned another wonderful addition to the ABC series. She is a master at her craft and never fails to deliver another heartwarming read with Sammy Morrison and Luke Alder. This book can take all my stars, there may have been a few rain clouds in Luke & Sammy’s forecast but in the end the sun pushed its way through. Sunshine & Sammy is definitely like sunshine on a sunny day, giving me all the warm fuzzies.

AUDIOBOOK REVIEW:
I can't tell you how excited I was when this audiobook landed on my audible. I've been looking forward to listening to John Lane and Maxine Mitchell in this epic, unputdownable story. The pair are the absolute perfect narrating duo and they did such a great performance as Sammy and Luke. They took my breath away in this fabulous book my one of my all time faves, Melanie Moreland. Outstanding can't even describe how well the narrators did. They have taken a book I absolutely adored and reached levels of excellence that met all my standards. The performance was beyond excellent, the story absolute perfection which makes this an overall must read, must listen to story!

Another beautiful love story "made in Melanie"!

This book is about Sammy, one of the gazillion kids from BAM series. I love reading these books because we can see the BAM people as a parents or grandparents and read their love is still alive.

In this book Sammy helps Luke improve his ranch with a touristic project and there is an instant connection and they can't resist each other.

I loved their nicknames, the cowboy theme, how Luke protects her all time and slowly opens to her.. I think they are perfect for each other.

This book contains love, passion, tenderness, fun and a lot of happiness. When you finish it, it leaves you with a silly smile 😍

Fireworks!

Grumpy, stand offish cowboy meets his match in the arms of Sammy Morrison. The sunshine to his storm, builder of businesses, flipper of bad tempered cowboys.

Luke Adler likes his life as it is, his ranch is his life & that's it. Until everything is flipped on its head by the woman his sister invites to the ranch to build her expansion idea.

Delightful story with just the right mix of romance, heat & angst.

Honest review in return for ARC from the author.

Where to start...... I absolutely love Melanie Moreland, and out of all the second generations stories to come from the Vested Interest Series this is the one I was looking forward to the most. I loved meeting Sammy "Mouse" when we met Van, and I love her even more now. Wow has she grown into a very strong independent woman. She definitely met her match when she met Luke. .

Luke the Stubborn Rancher and Sammy the strong, independent businesswomen. This story is one that I fell in love with from page 1.

Sammy and Luke both fiercely stubborn made for one heck of a story that I couldn't put down. I finished in in a matter of hours. If I could have given it 10 stars I would have.

Highly Recommend.... Enjoy and Your Welcome.

Trust me when I say that this book contains Mega Feels and Super Swoon! Sammy and Luke make a spicy and sweet couple that will make you laugh, need an ice-cold beverage and leave your heart a melted, sappy puddle. The story is very fun, chocked full of heart and humor but still has no difficulty in giving your heartstrings several really firm tugs when the situation arises. This feel-good romance is sure to brighten your day, lighten your heart and leave you with a huge smile on your face and a few happy tears in your eyes. This is my independent, impartial review.

Sunshine & Sammy is the newest book in the ABC Corp spinoff series by Ms. Moreland and another winning romance that pulls you in and wraps you up in a big warm hug. Luke is a hard-working rancher who gets knocked off his feet by Samantha Morrison, Liv & Van’s daughter who most of us remember as “Mouse.” Ms. Moreland has the wonderful ability of putting the reader in the middle of her storyline and in this case, in the middle of this beautiful ranch. I could see myself working right along side Luke & Sammy and all the wonderful and helpful neighbors, having dinners together with them and just enjoying ranch life. Of course, my favorite aspect of these books is being able to catch up with this ever-growing family! I enjoy Ms. Moreland’s epilogues so much because we get to see a little bit into the future of these wonderful characters. Another winner – sweet and steamy, but always inspirational and insightful as well. I’m very grateful to have been given the opportunity to read an early copy of this book for my honest opinion.

This book is so romantic, with all the feels and all you need to fall in love with them. Grumpy/Sunshine is getting a place in my list of favorites tropes. This time Sammy is the sunshine, the light in the live of Luke. Luke is the grumpy sexy cowboy, really grumpy but Sammy like a ray of sunshine with her smiles and light break all his walls. Reading this book takes you to that Ranch in Alberta you can feel the breeze and all the love. Van and Liv are still so in love that is amazing to witness. It’s so good, Luke and Sammy are for each other. Sammy with all her smiles captured all of him. “She smiled, sunshine and Sammy all rolled up together.”
*Amazing Epilogue as always*

The audiobook is amazingly Perfect! John Lane as Cowboy was perfect. Maxine brings Sammy and all those emotions to live. Perfect performance.
