A Sizzling, Enemies to Lovers, Workplace, Small-Town Romance by USA Today bestselling author Willow Aster.

Jamison Ledger.
The hottest man I’ve ever seen.
The enemy I never saw coming.

On one of the worst days of my life, the last thing I planned on was falling into bed with a guy who literally charmed the pants right off me.

Little did I know, that hot, gorgeous man would be Jamison Ledger, the man responsible for the very tears I was crying.

A thief. The very sexy thief who took everything I’ve ever wanted—my legacy, my happiness, and what I’ve worked my whole life to attain.

Now, we have to co-exist. Working together at my family’s lodge, the inheritance that should’ve gone to me, while trying to keep our hands to ourselves after our unforgettable night together.

But as I see him more and more, I have to remind myself not to fall in love with the charismatic lodge owner who has taken our small town by storm.

There’s a fine line between love and hate, and Jamison is blurring that line.

He might have given me a night I’ll never forget, but can I let him take more of my future than he already has?

Unforgettable is book one in the interconnected Landmark Mountain Series and can be read as a standalone.

After reading Autumn Nights earlier this year, I knew I needed more from the Ledger family. I was so excited to get into Jamison’s book and I loved it!

Scarlett Landmark has lost a lot that is important to her recently. Her grandma, and the Landmark legacy of her family. It’s been sold even though Scarlett is the one that’s been running it all these years. Sold to Jamison Ledger, who Scarlett has met recently, well shared one night with is more like it.

Scarlett is hard on Jamison at first, but with time, he starts to win her over. I loved these two together. I also loved getting the bits with the Ledger family, and Scarlett’s brother’s as well. I’m glad we’re getting some of their books! Overall, this was a great read. I loved the writing style, the family dynamics, and the romance.

The beautiful cover and the synopsis were the reasons for me trying this book. Sadly this story didn’t make it easy for me. I really tried but this didn’t work for me. Scarlett and Jameson, the two MC’s didn’t have any chemistry and they were pretty bland so I wasn’t invested in them or the story.
There were so many characters introduced that I lost count. I’m aware the Landmark has a lot of employees but I didn’t think it was necessary to get introduced to a handful or more.
Scarlett’s brothers were interesting and the reason I kept reading. Sadly the overall story wasn’t exciting. It was just an ordinary one.
So even though Unforgettable wasn’t for me I might give the next one a try. Maybe…

A one-night stand with no promises and no inhibitions…
Our night together changed everything.
As a list maker and a rule follower, the last thing I planned, on one of the worst days of my life, was to fall into bed with a guy who literally charmed the clothes right off of me.
With him, I felt safe to lay my sadness down for the night and embrace a stranger.
Little did I know, that hot, gorgeous man would be Jamison Ledger, the one who has taken everything I’ve ever wanted—my legacy, my happiness, and what I’ve worked my whole life to attain.
While I am trying to sabotage his success, everyone in our small town is falling in love with the sexy, new lodge owner. And I am trying my hardest not to.
There’s a fine line between love and hate, and Jamison Ledger is blurring that line.
He might have given me a night I’ll never forget, but I can’t forgive the man who stole my entire future.

"I couldn’t have known that one night with Scarlett would change my life…"

I enjoyed reading this book, it was quick, fun and lighthearted. Jamison & Scarlett had good chemistry. The side characters were interesting and the setting was well described. With Jamison returning back to his job in a few months and Scarlett unsure of whether she actually wants to stay in town and accept the job that was offered to her by Jamison or figure out life somewhere else, it was a matter of will they or won't they end up together. Overall the book was an easy read but it didn't blow me away tbh.

If you love small town, low angst, with a great small town feel, you’ll love this one.

While I personally prefer more angst or conflict, this would be a great palette cleanser book. It had a charming aspect, cute couple, great steam.

Unforgettable is out now!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A one night stand — what could go wrong?
Evidently, A LOT could go wrong if you’re Scarlett and Jamison.

What seemed like a no strings attached, perfect night turns into the complete opposite when Scarlett finds out that the perfect stranger she hooked up with is actually someone she hates.

Unforgettable is an enemies to lovers, he falls first, small town romance that will have you SWOONING over Jamison Ledger!

I absolutely loved his character in Unforgettable. He was absolutely adorable and probably one of my favorite parts of the book! I did like Scarlett, but her grudge left me 😵‍💫😵‍💫 when it seemed like it would never end. To me, she was just angry at the wrong person and it made no sense 🤷🏻‍♀️

I do think Unforgettable was a great way to kick off the Landmark Mountain Series! It introduced her siblings perfectly and left me wanting more right now! This was the first book I’ve read by Willow Aster and I did notice that she pulled in characters from her other book(s) — Jamison’s brother in this case. I’ve added his book to my TBR because it sounds so good 👀

Thank you Willow and Valentine PR for this eARC in exchange for my honest review!

This is the first book I've read by Willow Aster, and I will definitely be coming back for more of her books.

" You're gonna turn my world upside down, aren't you, Scarlett." he says, his forehead leaning against mine. '' You better believe it.'' I say, grinning.

The story gripped me, and I read it very fast, I lost track of time.

I really liked the characters, Jamison is wonderful, I love a guy who falls in love first and does everything for the girl.

I liked reading this book and I recommend it.

This is my first book by Willow Aster, and I am in love! It’s a gorgeously sweet and romantic, small town, almost enemies-to-lovers story, introducing a wonderful family and I really enjoyed getting lost in this one.

“You’re gonna turn my world upside down, aren’t you, Scarlett,” he says, his forehead leaning against mine.
“You better believe it,” I say, grinning.

Scarlett Landmark runs her family’s ski lodge and resort in the Colorado mountains. She was raised on the property by her Grandparents, she knew she’d always run the beloved resort, and she was living the dream, until they had to sell. She’s staying on for six months to oversee the transfer, and she’s ready to make the process as difficult for the new owner as possible. And then the new owner shows up and it’s none other than the gorgeously sexy man that she had a one night stand with a few weeks earlier. That night was completely out of character for her, but she was drowning her sorrows after the sale, and Jamison took her mind off things by completely rocking her world. Now here he is, stealing her dream, and she is not happy.

Jamison is excited by his new business venture, and arrives in Colorado full of enthusiasm. He is shocked to see Scarlett again, but is so happy to have the chance to reconnect with her after their night together. But he does not get the welcome he’s hoping for, when she makes it clear that she hates his presence in her resort, and goes about making his life as difficult as it can possibly be. But Scarlett didn’t count on Jamison’s big heart, friendliness, and determination to win her over. He’s sweet, he’s funny, and he’s clearly loving his new job, everybody in town is falling in love with him, and Scarlett is trying oh-so-hard not to do the same.

“I…don’t know what to do with all these feelings and also be respectful of what you want.”
“What do you want?” she asks.
“I want you.”

This is such a cute read. I love Scarlett and Jamison, I thought they were both smart and relatable, and their relationship is absolutely irresistible. In turns snarky, fun and flirty, the chemistry between them sizzles, and I loved watching them grow closer, despite Scarlett’s best efforts. Things between them change naturally and honestly, and I loved watching their relationship blossom into something so amazing.

“We’re perfect for each other,” he whispers. “You’re still out of my league, but I’m doing to spend the rest of my life up for the challenge.”

Butting in along the way are Scarlett’s friends and workmates, and the townsfolk who are literally betting on who will win the heart of the new bachelor in town. We also get to meet her family, including her four older brothers, and I cannot wait for their stories. Also, in a fun link for fans, Jamison is the brother of Zac (from Autumn Nights: A Single Dad Sports Romance), and we get to see Zac and Autumn in this one. They are new to me, but I loved them together, and enjoyed their part in the book, and the obviously close relationship between the two brothers.

I really enjoyed this book. A fun, sweet and sexy romance with lots of heart and a beautiful love story.

4 stars.

DNF 80%. These characters are so boring and, ironically, DEEPLY forgettable. And they keep having big old TEE HEE laughs at things that aren’t funny! Oh you laughed until you had tears in your eyes? Maybe share it with the rest of the class, because nothing here is funny. Also if a book has to tell you something is funny, it ain’t. And I can’t picture this dude bc as much as I’m urging my brain to show me Henry Cavill, it’s showing me Michael Bluth.

I wish I could say this book had good spice but it was like, timid spice somehow? Spice that was afraid of itself. Give me more information, I couldn’t even tell if anybody was naked in the spicy scenes?? And while I can appreciate that the FMC makes her own shit-hot lingerie, I refuse to believe she’s wearing it under her clothes at all times. The worst day of her life, signing over the lodge, and she’s got a teddy on under her clothes? Please. No real person lives like this. A real person is wearing her oldest bra and some period underwear to that.

Ohhh my goshhhh. First of all. Jamison... Freaking SWOON. Scarlett is amazing. & her brothers ... Absolutely amazing supporting characters. I need every single one of them to get their own story because they are all amazing. 🥹🙌🏻

Small town romance with the swooniest mmc, yes please!

Scarlett is a list maker & rule follower. But after one of the worst days of her life, she lets go of her inhibitions and experiences the best night of her life with a complete stranger. Only to find out that stranger, Jamison Ledger, is the new owner of her family's lodge! Cue the most swooniest enemies to lovers with all the flirty banter that you can handle!

From the first chapter I knew this was going to be a 5⭐ read. I absolutely adore Scarlett! She is so dedicated to her family's business. It hurt my heart for her that her grandpa didn't see what an asset to the company she was. Jamison was fantastic. He was seriously ALL IN. And boy did he make it known just how bad he wanted her. The only thing holding them back was Scarlett, respectfully.

I love how intertwined J + S lives were in that lodge. Without even realizing. If you didn't know any better, you would think that ✨fate✨ played a role. 😉

I absolutely LOVED this story. I cannot wait to go back and read Jamison's brother, Zaks story!!

Thank you so much to the author + Valentine PR for my gifted eCopy. All thoughts are my own.

Is there anything better than the start of a small town romance series?! If you’re me, there’s not and this one won me over as soon as I started it. I was charmed by the town, the residents, the family dynamics between both Scarlett’s family as well as Jamison’s and of course I was charmed the most by those two as a couple. So many fun tropes here too, there’s a one night stand, a little enemies to lovers, workplace romance and found family. I loved every page of this, it made me swoon, it brought some heat, it made me laugh and I really need the next book asap.

What a charming small town romance! It’s set in a small mountain town where Scarlett helps run her family’s lodge, Landmark Lodge. When her family decides to sell the lodge there isn’t much Scarlett can do. After she signs the paperwork, she stops at a random bar for a drink and runs into Jamison. They end up spending the night together but neither of them know that Jamison is the one who bought the lodge. So when they run into each other again Scarlett feels betrayed and holds a grudge against Jamison. They both have to work together to run the lodge and discuss improvements for when the time comes that Scarlett is done working at the inn. But as they spend more time together it’s hard to ignore their chemistry.

This was just so fun and I can’t wait to read more from this author. I loved how there’s a little bit of one sided dislike to lovers. Scarlett is understandably upset about the lodge being sold and tried to take it out on Jamison. Meanwhile Jamison finds her anger kind of funny and amps up the flirting and teasing to edge her on. Add in the close proximity from them working together, I was just waiting for them both to finally give in again. Oh boy when then do the spice was 🔥🔥🔥.

I really liked how while there was some conflict towards the last third of the book, it wasn’t something that caused a breakup. They took a day to calm down over something and then chatted through it.

The small town and family dynamics were so enjoyable and I liked how the rest of the series is set up where (I’m assuming) it will follow her 4 brothers. Just super cozy, full of the small town shenanigans I love.

And I can’t forget to mention that there’s two adorable dogs included in this! A husky named Lucia and a chihuahua named Delgado. 🐶

If you like Laura Pavlov, Devney Perry, or Elsie Silver that’s the same kind of vibes I got from this book and think this series will give.

"You're gonna turn my world upside down, aren't you, Scarlett?"
"You better believe it."

- Small-town romance
- One-night stand
- Enemies to lovers vibe
- Workplace romance
- No breakup
- Dual POV

Unforgettable is perfect for when you're looking for a low-angst small-town romance. Scarlett has dedicated her life to her family's namesake resort. But when her grandfather dies, he leaves it to her four brothers, who sell it to Jameson Ledger and his brother.

Things get awkward when Scarlett has a one-night stand following the signing of the papers... and she doesn't realise until a few weeks later that the man she can't get out of her head is Jameson. Cue some enemies-to-lovers vibes!

While Scarlett was resistant, Jameson was just the sweetest who only wanted the best for her and the resort. He believed in her and slowly broke down her walls. Their relationship was kind of backwards (one-night stand, then dating, then long distance for a minute and then in an actual relationship), but I thought this was honestly refreshing!

"Your beauty is a revelation every time I see you." Okay SIR 🫠.

I also loved both their families and cannot wait for Theo's story next!

❤️ Small Town
🧡 Enemies To Lovers
❤️ One Night Stand
🧡 Work Place Romance

I love small town romances and this cute work place romance in a small town in Colorado was so fun! Jamison and Scarlett met in a bar and had a one night stand. They have been thinking about each other ever since until Scarlett sees who the owner is of the lodge! She tries so hard to hate him and shut him out but those sparks fly and never stop. The spice and banter in here is so good. These two bicker back and forth but it was so cute and to watch them slowly fall in love was amazing. The ski lift fiasco really got things going for sure. 😏 Definitely recommend this to all my small town and work place romance lovers.

This is a really great start to a new series.

Firstly- the map of the town at the front of the book is gorgeous!

After a chance meeting Jamison and Scarlett spend the night together, never expecting to see each other again. Not long after, they meet again as Jamison and his brother (Zac from Autumn Nights) have bought Scarlett’s family’s hotel.
They go from a one night stand, to enemies (from Scarlett’s perspective anyway!) to lovers, and it’s a lovely story that’s easy to read and low angst. We also get to see both their families and plenty of the small town.

Both characters were likeable and I was rooting for them from the start. The town they live in sounds idyllic and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series and learning more about those Landmark brothers! There was also scope for stories for a few of the side characters too!

Overall I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend if you’re a fan of small town romance!

Scarlett and Jamison were so good together. There was never a moment where their interactions were boring or drawn out. The whole scenes were written perfect.

It's been a minute since I've read Willow Aster and I'm glad that I jumped back in with a brand new series.
Unforgettable takes place in the super cute small resort ski town of Landmark. The Landmark family has owned and operated the Resort there, but the brothers have decided to sell, making Scarlett (the lone sister) one unhappy woman. That resort is all she's known, so to give it up is devastating. But when the new owner happens to be someone that she just happens to know from a chance meeting only weeks earlier, things get a little uncomfortable for her.

I will be the first to admit that the "one night stand" trope isn't always my favorite, but I loved it for Scarlett and Jamison. They had their one night stand and from that instant, I knew that Jamison was going to be a goner. All it takes is the right woman to make him fall.

With Unforgettable we have:
One Night Stand
He Falls First
Enemies to Lovers (ish, because one party does not see the other as an enemy)
Workplace Romance
Strong and united families
Awesome senior characters that light up their scenes.

I really enjoyed the family dynamics between both Jamison's family and Scarlett's family. They were all such genuinely good people. I just wanted to wrap myself up in them. And can we also take a moment to appreciate the cool little map at the beginning of the book! Really put the whole town in perspective.
This story laid the groundwork for the future books in the series. I fell for Jamison almost automatically and loved the way he cared for Scarlett and always wanted to do right by her by maintaining the integrity of the building and the history of their resort. Scarlett was someone that took me a little longer to connect with, but once she took in "2 found friends"? She sold me. Then when she gives in to Jamison? Fire! Loved them! I also got just enough of Scarlett's brothers that now I'm invested in them and can't wait to see where their stories will go. But the characters I loved the most? The old folks. The grandparents. The ones that always spoke the truth and knew what to say and when. They were my favorite!

Unforgettable is cute, fun and a great beginning to a whole new Aster world. It felt like a warm mug of hot chocolate after a cold day. A Perfect read for those rainy spring days. Can't wait to see what's to come next!

The night she had to sign over her family's resort Scarlett has an amazing night with Jamison, a stranger that she met while trying forget that she gave up her legacy. Two weeks later she runs into him again only to find out that he is the one that bought her family's resort. She was the only one in her family that didn't want to let go of the resort so she was devastated when she had to let it go so that leads her to resent Jamison and everything he wants to implement at the resort. But the more time she spends with Jamison and his family she realizes that he might just be what the resort and Scarlett needs.

I really enjoyed this one. Scarlett and Jamison's banter was fun. They had me laughing quite a bit. I loved the bits pieces we saw of both the Landmark family and Ledger family. I felt that this was a good introductory book for a series with a good foundation for future characters without over playing them and still keeping mains as the focus as they should be. This was a fun, quick and lighthearted book that I thoroughly enjoyed and can't wait to continue with this series.

If you’re looking for a small town romance to cozy up with on a rainy day, add this one to your list!

I absolutely loved Jamison and how much he adored Scarlett in true “he falls first” fashion. Their chemistry was undeniable. While it took Scarlett a bit to come around (I definitely wished I could talk some sense into her a few times), I was so glad when she did. You could tell she truly cared for Jamison especially when it came to his family. This book left me wishing I could book a winter trip to Landmark Mountain to see them all in person!

Also, can we talk about the cover for this one?! It’s STUNNING. 👏🏻👏🏻

This was a perfect palate cleaner for me to almost finish out the month. Willow Aster has always been a quick read and this one was the same. It was a good start to the series and I’m excited to see what is next. This was like a Hallmark movie but better in my opinion. There were some areas I like could have been stronger and better developed. I do think that some areas I would have liked to see expanded upon like the grandpa and how horrible he was treating Scarlett. I think I am more excited for the brothers also. They are super interesting but I do think this was a good introductory way of meeting them.
