Guitarist-songwriter Eric Clapton returns to Nashville this fall for a one-night show at Bridgestone Arena.

Clapton — a three-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame guitarist known for his solo work as well as playing in famed British acts such as Cream and the Yardbird — performs Sept. 21 in downtown Nashville. Support comes from Texas blues rock guitarist Jimmie Vaughan, brother to late legend Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Clapton's eight-show fall tour kicks off Sept. 13 in Ft. Worth, Texas, wrapping Sept. 26 in Hollywood, Florida.

Clapton joins a growing list of scheduled events for the arena this fall as concertgoers return to seats after more than a year of live music being sidelined due to COVID-19. Notable upcoming 2021 shows include Harry Styles (Oct. 1), Alan Jackson (Oct. 8), Chris Stapleton (Oct. 22-23) and Lauren Daigle (Nov. 19).
