I had the pleasure of reading the ARC. I'm so happy I got to read it. Highly recommend reading this. I flew through this book so fast.

I honestly went through so many emotions read this. Anger, hatred, frustration, and intrigued. The characters definitely need therapy.

There are very dark themes in this story, so be sure to check triggers

Nelle Lamarr may have just become one of my auto-buy authors within one day! She instantly drew me in with the slightly creepy and strange character of Marley. While I have never been in the situation, I felt sympathy for Ava and hoped that she'd find the good in her life that she deserved.

However, as an amazing writer, Nelle constructed her story so well that I began to doubt who was the 'good guy' of the story, was Marley genuinely trying to help, and Ava being paranoid, or was Marley as off-putting as she appeared?

This book was a roller coaster of twists and turns that had me surprised right to the very last page! Definitely one I would recommend!!

Nelle Lamarr is now an auto-buy author for me! After enjoying The Family Guest, I was so excited to read this one. Let me tell you...it did not disappoint! I was fully immersed the entire time. This was an action packed thriller that had me on the edge of my seat the whole roller coaster ride! The twists were twisty, and the turns gave me whiplash. My mouth was wide open multiple times throughout this book. Ned was the husband that you loved to hate, and my heart went out to Ava. I was rooting for her the whole book. This story was so wicked and so thrilling. I was gripped by the need to know how this would all play out.

Lamarr has a writing style that is captivating. She pulls you in with short chapters that end with you needing to know what happens on the next page. The author also has a way of topping each twist with something better. Just when you think you know what is going to happen, Lamarr proves you wrong. The suspense building throughout this book is *chef's kiss*! Read this well-written book that will keep you guessing right up until the end.

Ava is a struggling new mom who needs help with her baby, Isa. She and her husband Ned hire Marley as a night nanny, and she truly seems to be a godsend. Marley is very private, and Ava wonders what secrets she’s hiding. When the truth starts to come out, Ava can’t believe everything that is revealed!

You better check with your doctor to make sure your heart is healthy enough to read this book! It was so intense and there were so many twists and turns! I did not see any of this coming! This book was easy to read and very entertaining from the beginning!
