I’ve been hoping for more Zane since he made his appearance in Shine With Me! He lived up to every bit of the hype I’d created in my mind. He’s sexy as hell and sugary sweet.
His meet cute with Aubrey might be one of my favorites in any of the Seattle books! I knew instantly it was going to be a fun book. Watching Aubrey morph from her “plain Jane” self image to this strong and self assured woman that steals Zane’s heart melted me.
If you’re already a KP fan, you will love this short and sweet novella. If you’ve never read a Kristen Proby book this novella is a prime example of what her Seattle “world” is all about.

Have you fallen in love with the WITH ME IN SEATTLE SERIES already? Or have you yet to dip your toes into it? Either way you're going to want to get your hands on this Steamy Roommates to lovers Romance that will have you begging for more.
I fell in love with movie star Zane when I met him in his BFF's story, Shine With Me, and I couldn't wait to get my hands on this little gem. Zane is the Hot Actor that everyone drools over but it's nice to see that he's really down to earth and sweet especially when he finds out that the place he's rented for the next six months has also been rented to someone else.
Aubrey is your typical girl next store, cute and curvy, sweet and a little sassy. She has relocated to the Seattle area to take on a new position as a first grade teacher and is looking forward to starting this next chapter in her life...never in her wildest dreams did she think she'd have Captain America as a roommate.

Change With Me was a quick, but enjoyable read! I loved Zane and Aubrey, and appreciated having a female lead that was not supermodel thin, but "real". And I love the cameos of the other characters from the With Me in Seattle series! Love!

This book is classic Kristen Proby! I absolutely loved it and couldn’t put it down. I absolutely loved Zane and Aubrey together. He was so incredibly sweet to her. It was great seeing old friends in this book too. Seriously, what are you waiting for? I highly recommend this book.

5 Star Review of Change With Me (With Me In Seattle #17.5) by Kristen Proby
I was so excited to be back in Kristen Proby’s With Me In Seattle world and couldn’t wait to read Change With Me. This is Zane Cooper and Aubrey Stansfield’s story and was a great addition to the series. Sometimes when there are so many books in a series. This may have been a quick novella but Ms.Proby packed a lot into the story and I was drawn in from the first chapter.
Zane is hiding out in Seattle after a scandal rocked his career and Aubrey is shocked when thanks to a rental mix up he ends up as her roommate. The chemistry that sizzles betwen them is off the charts and Zane convinces Aubrey to take a chance on him. The banter was witty and I found myself laughing and swooning on occasion.
What will happen when the dust settles, will Zane leave Aubrey behind and return to Hollywood? One click and find out.

BOOK REVIEW: 4 STARS

Change with Me is definitely one of the sweetest, most enjoyable short stories that I have got to read.
It's been so long since I read Kristen Proby's stories, that this one made me want to get back to them as soon as possible.
I loved everything about this love. Its shortage of pages didn't take anything from Zane & Aubrey's connection and chemistry, even though, as a bookworm and a sucker for romance, I craved more of them.
The roommates-by-accident is by itself one of my most favorite plot themes. The happy endings that it gives are for sure some of the most rewarding out there. Now, add to that the Hollywood aspect, and you have a winner.
Zane Cooper, I have to say, as far as Hollywood stars go, he is one the rare great ones. His charm, his thoughtfulness, his kindness along with his amazing romantic bones, made for an irresistible packet. As for Aubrey; damn, she is a super fisty one. But more than anything, what made her more special was her inspiring love for children and the way she was trying to help as a teacher better their lives, even if it meant that she had to do it in the expense of herself. She was an educator with all its meaning.

Change with Me is number seventeen point five in the With Me in Seattle series by Kristen Proby! I started reading the series back in 2016 and have read most of the books. I am working on the ones that got by me. It is one of my favorite all-time series. Zane was in Shine with Me as Sabrina’s best friend. He made me laugh and I started to fall even then.
Aubrey is new to Seattle and a teacher. Zane is laying low after a scandal hit Hollywood. They both found the perfect condo, the issue you ask, it’s the same condo. After same banter and a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors they decide to share. The down to earth first grade teacher and Hollywood royalty. Aubrey wasn’t starstuck by the man but she wasn’t blind either. He was hot but she soon realizes he is also sweet, caring, and doesn’t care about his status. And Zane loves that she sees him. The real him. And he sees her. She might think she is Plain Jane but she is gorgeous to him in every way. He is only in town for six months, can anything truly happen between these two roommates who just met?
I absolutely loved these two! They are so much fun and even though the book is short, there is lots of story! I laughed, flushed, swooned, and even cried! God, i hope this series never ends.

First off this hook can definitely be read and loved as a stand-alone.
What a fantastic addition to the With Me In Seattle Series and a wonderful addition to the stories that make up the 1001 Dark Nights reads. I have to say I’m hoping that Ms Proby gives us more of Zane Cooper and Aubrey Stansfield because the only complaint I have with Change With Me (With Me In Seattle #17.5) is I wanted more.
Aubrey arrives in Seattle excited to start a new life, she has a new job and a new home but what she didn’t expect was to find her agent hade double rented the apartment and now she has a roommate.
Zane is in Seattle to escape the scandals that seem to follow his high profile around, it’s t9me to keep a low profile and let things blow over but now he finds himself obsessed with the woman he now shares a home with. Aubrey is so different to the previous woman he has been attracted to, for a start she us not interested in his megastar lifestyle, she’s a teacher doing what’s best for the kids she teaches and that makes her even more desirable. There us no denying the chemistry this couple share but if lines are crossed will they come out the other end with their hearts in tact…..
This story touched me on so many levels, it has all the feels and for a quick read it packs a mighty punch, the characters are easy to fall for, the chemistry is sizzling, the banter is witty but it was catching up with our favourite ladies that for me added another dimension to this great read. This is a book that will certainly put a smile on your face and I highly recommend it to all romance lovers.

This Hollywood romance, roommates to lovers romance focused on Hollywood A-lister, Zane Cooper and first grade teacher, Aubrey Stansfield. Zane is fourth generation Hollywood royalty and no one realizes how lonely that life is. Now his life has exploded in scandal so he decides to get out of LA for a while and heads to Seattle to lay low with his now married best friend. Aubrey has just moved to Seattle for a new job as a first grade teacher. When she gets to her rental, the heartthrob known all over the world for playing Captain America is unpacking boxes in her bedroom. Apparently, there was a mix-up with the rental so they decide to be roommates. She sees herself as plain but she’s beautiful, strong, feisty with a curvy body instead of a stick figure. The more time they spend together, the more their chemistry is impossible to ignore or resist. But can an every day girl really expect to maintain a relationship with someone as well off and well known as Zane? She should give him some credit. He’s sexy as hell and incredibly sweet.
As with other books written by this author, this book did not disappoint. I loved this couple and would have loved a full novel to showcase more of their story. I have loved this series since the first book. Now, on number 17, it's still just as amazing.
Aubrey is a down to earth, realistic, hilarious school teacher. She is excited to start a new job and loves what she does. When she walks into her newly rented house, she finds that she's not alone. Not willing to bend, she tries to win the space by playing "rock, paper, scissors". When that fails to work, she puts on her big girl panties and chooses to stay with her new roommate.
Zane is hiding out because of the press. He hates the press. While he is staying away from LA, he decides to spend some time near friends. What he doesn't expect is a roommate who is not in automatic awe of him. Zane is used to women fawning all over him. When he meets Aubrey, she's a breath of fresh air for him.
The bond that these two forge is one of friendship, love, passion and silliness. They can both be very silly, but they also love hard and with their whole hearts. You won't regret picking this up for the afternoon.
This is a quick read and while it can be read as a standalone, I would highly suggest that you start at the beginning of the series, because getting to see snippets of the previous characters is so much fun.

Kristen Proby has a real talent for making people real, and sure Aubrey is that way immediately, but Zane too is given the quirks and facets of a person we can identify with, even if overall his life is so far removed from us all. I found the situation they were in funny, the way they deal with it, and their chemistry hugely engaging, and overall just a lovely read from cover to cover.
I was left with a real feeling of contentment and hopefulness thanks to this story!

Zane Cooper is a Hollywood actor and when he's caught up in a scandal, he goes to Seattle to take some time off and to be close to his best friend Sabrina. Aubrey Stansfield arrives in Seattle and gets into her brand new condo and comes face to face with Zane Cooper in her home. Because of a misunderstanding, Aubrey and Zane have to live together in the condo and they decide to become roommates. Aubrey treated Zane like a regular person and didn't fawn over him which he appreciated. They get to know each other and become friends until things become more between them. Zane liked Aubrey because she always told the truth and never let get away with anything and he loved being with her. They confided in each other, made each other laugh and just fell for one another. Aubrey and Zane changed each other for the better and brought something extra in each other's lives. I loved the cameos from Natalie, Jules and the other women and Zane spent some time Nate, Ben and Luke. A nice addition to the series.

I love the With Me in Seattle series and these characters are so good! This is a novella with some characters and new ones. Zane is a big Hollywood star who has to take some time off and decides to meet his friend Sabrina "Rina" in Seattle. He leases an apartment and there is a mistake since Aubrey has already rent it. This is a really great quick read. I love the story between Aubrey & Zane. These two unsuspecting lovers meet because they leased the same apartment & both refuse to leave. Being thrust into being strictly roommates does not let long as sparked fly between these two.

Change With Me was such a sweet and fun story! I absolutely adored every page spent with Aubrey and Zane! I think most of us have imagined what it would be like if a celebrity fell in love with an average person (usually we think of ourselves as the average person). Zane is an A list celebrity who needs to get out of LA for a little while, and Aubrey is a school teacher moving to Seattle for the first time, their landlord double books the condo and the rest, as they say, is history. My biggest issue with this story is that it was a novella. I would have loved for these two to have a full length story, more spicy scenes and girls nights with Natalie and Jules and the whole Seattle crew.
I love every book in this series, full length and novella, and I think Zane and Aubrey will hold a special place in my heart. Who doesn't want an HEA with Captain America?

Change With Me by Kristen Proby is a short read the weave in classic Proby banter and heat as Hollywood megastar Zane Cooper and elementary school teacher Aubrey Stansfield somehow end up renting the same condo as both seek to start over in Seattle.
Zane and Aubrey form a quick connection one that pulls the reader in as they open up to each other in a way that is clear neither have done prior. These reluctant roomies have so much FUN together.
Zane's "gestures" are powerful and speak volumes about who he is as a person.
In this limited space the author still pulled in so many emotions including the theme of an average girl struggling to feel the love a megastar is developing for her.

I have loved this series since the first book. Now, on number 17, it's still just as amazing.
Aubrey is a down to earth, realistic, hilarious school teacher. She is excited to start a new job and loves what she does. When she walks into her newly rented house, she finds that she's not alone. Not willing to bend, she tries to win the space by playing "rock, paper, scissors." When that fails to work, she puts on her big girl panties and chooses to stay with her new roommate.
Zane is hiding out because of the press. He hates the press. While he is staying away from LA, he decides to spend some time near friends. What he doesn't expect is a roommate who is not in automatic awe of him. Zane is used to women fawning all over him. When he meets Aubrey, she's a breath of fresh air for him.
The bond that these two forge is one of friendship, love, passion, and silliness. They can both be very silly, but they also love hard and with their whole hearts. You won't regret picking this up for the afternoon.
This is a quick read and while it can be read as a standalone, I would highly suggest that you start at the beginning of the series, because getting to see snippets of the previous characters is so much fun.

This is such a sweet, hot, fabulous read! If you are a member of the With Me in Seattle fan club, it just rings true, gives a dive back into all the goodness of the series, and if you aren't yet, I am certain that you will be reaching for the back catalogue and getting ready for the pleasure to come.
Kristen Proby has a real talent for making people real, and sure Aubrey is that way immediately, but Zane too is given the quirks and facets of a person we can identify with, even if overall his life is so far removed from us all. I found the situation they were in funny, the way they deal with it and their chemistry hugely engaging, and overall, just a lovely read from cover to cover.
I was left with a real feeling of contentment and hopefulness thanks to this story!

Superstar actor Zane Cooper needs to get out of Hollywood for a while in the wake of a major scandal, so he decides to head to Seattle where his best friend Sabrina Harrison is now living with her husband Ben. At the same time, elementary school teacher Aubrey Stansfield is moving to Seattle from Arizona for a new job. Their worlds collide when a shady landlord leases them the same condo for six months. Aubrey can't afford to find another place to live and Zane doesn't want to because of the condo's great location near Sabrina and Ben's house, so they reluctantly become roommates. Surprisingly, they also become friends, but is there a possibility for something more between them?
I enjoyed this story, but I think it would have been even better as a full-length novel. Aubrey and Zane were both such interesting characters and I wanted to know more about them, but the story's short format didn't allow for much in the way of character development. For example, why did Aubrey believe that she was so plain, and why didn't Zane speak to his family anymore? Even without knowing the answers to those questions, I liked both Zane and Aubrey and thought they made a good couple. Everything about their relationship just felt so easy and it was clear that they belonged together despite their drastically different backgrounds.

This was an awesome story and its a novella though its a complete story. It was absolutely wonderful, I just wanted a longer book because I loved the characters so much.
Zane has moved to town for six months and is living near Ben and Sabrina. He is on a Hollywood vacation as he needs some time away from Hollywood and the drama there. He moves into his new place and thats when he meets Aubrey.
Aubrey has moved to the Northwest and is a new school teacher in town. She moves in and finds out Zane is there too. Aubrey and Zane become reluctant roomies and then become friends. She is very much girl next door, non drama and a plain Jane.
These two were super fun together. I also loved that we see natalie and Luke and the whole gang from the With Me series. It was so great how they are rooting for Aubrey and Zane and bring her into their girls nites out.
Zane was a really awesome character and I loved how he saw below Aubrey's looks to her heart as he falls hard for her. I also loved how Aubrey was so normal around Zane and they were both their for each other.

Zane rents a simple but furnished house facing the sea for six months, but shortly after his arrival, someone else enters his room!
Aubrey Stansfield drove for hours from Arizona and was dying to rest and prepare for her new job: teaching an elementary school. But upon entering the rental property for the next month, she bumps into a man, not just anyone but movie star Zane Cooper.
An error by the landlord has caused the two of them to rent the house, and neither of them wants to give up the view of the sea. The way is to share the house, each one in a room.
The temporary coexistence ends up being beneficial and fun. Plus, for Aubrey it was such a sight for sore eyes to have Zane so close.
Zane found it refreshing to have a woman who didn't treat him any differently despite his fame and fortune.
And when they least realize it, magic happens.
But would it have a future?

Absolutely loved this story. Aubrey is not the type of woman Zane usually was attracted to. He was used to tall, blonde, gorgeous women. He came to Washington to sort of hide for a while until things settled in LA for him. He never thought he would find “the one.” Especially since he wasn’t looking. But sometimes when we least expect it is when it happens. Aubrey treated him like Zane, the man, not Zane the rich Hollywood star. She told him exactly how she felt when he did something she didn’t like. She was not star struck in the least. She knew who he was, but it didn’t change how she treated him. She was as real as it got and that is what made him fall for her. The fact that she wasn’t after him for his fame and fortune was an added bonus. He was able to be himself with her. No pretenses. She wasn’t impressed by his fame either. To her she was just Zane. Of course, when they first met, she never thought that he would feel anything but friendship, it that at all, with her since she wasn’t what he was used to in the women he dated. But he showed her that it was her beauty inside as well as outside that he was drawn to. It is what made her different than anyone else.
They may not have been looking for love, but they did find it when they least expected it.

Change With Me is the #17.5 novella in the With Me in Seattle series. It was easy to read, fast-paced and easily a one setting book to read. Change With Me is part of the 1001 Dark Nights series which can be read as stand-alones and gives new readers a chance to explore new authors. Even though I have not read any of the other books in the series I do not feel as though I missed anything by jumping into the series. The characters were charming and perfect for each other.
Zane Cooper, famous actor, needs to lay low until the scandal blows over. He decides to leave LA and stay with his best friend in Seattle. Aubrey Stansfield leaves Arizona after her grandfather dies to take a teaching position in Seattle. She loves teaching children and is ready to start over in a new city and school. When they unexpected rent the same apartment they decide to being roommates since neither has another place to go.
I enjoyed reading this book and getting the chance to read some of Kristen Proby’s work. It was well written and was just enough to know I like her style of writing. I look forward to reading more of her books in the future.

The addicting With Me In Seattle series is back with another standalone novella this go round and y'all, what a book this was. Change With Me was everything you I expected and needed it to be. Seriously the heart, heat, and swoon just melted off the pages and had my heart beating just a touch faster. Zane and Aubrey breathed life into me throughout their journey and gahhhhhh, a reread might be needed soon just to experience these two all over again.
If you haven't met anyone or in her infamous With Me In Seattle series then you need to run to grab to that series up as soon as. It is so epic in all the ways and with the spin offs in motion, well you are in for quite the backlist treat.
This is why I loooove these 1001 Dark Nights books. I cannot wait for more from this series, that series and more from KP.
