Dear Parents/Carers,

We have decided to offer our Year 8 pupils the opportunity to go to Lightwater Valley.  This is a reward for all their hard work and effort this year.

When:        Monday 18th July 2022

Depart school:        9am (Arrive at school at 8.30am)   

Depart LWV:        3pm

Cost:          £22 for coach and entrance ticket

Food:          Packed lunch or they can purchase refreshments inside the park

Clothing:          Wear suitable clothing, a waterproof coat if the weather forecast is poor

Advise:           Suncream and Sunglasses if sunny!

Once inside the park the children will be allowed to walk around the park with their friends and will be allocated a teacher, acting as a group leader who will meet up and check in with them at certain points during the day.

As the children are ambassadors for our school and unsupervised at periods during this trip it is essential that they understand that exemplary behaviour is of the utmost  importance on this visit.

Having organised this trip in previous years it has always proved very popular with pupils, promoting their independence and allowing them the chance to visit a theme park with lots of their peers. Previous visits have been a success and staff were delighted with the good behaviour from pupils.
