Growing up around the Hawks Motorcycle Club, Maya and Texas have been in each other’s lives seemingly forever. Maya’s crush on her brother’s best friend has lasted almost as long.

Older and somewhat wiser, she knows the man who’s always had her heart will never see her as anything other than his friend’s sister. But try as she might, she can’t escape him. Everywhere she goes, Texas is there, and now it seems like his eyes are always on her.

What in the hell is she meant to do with this version of Texas?!

Recovering from an injury and feeling nothing but Maya’s calming presence, Texas finally sees the possibilities right in front of him. There’s nothing like a punch in the gut when his eyes are pried wide open.

Now he’s on a mission to prove to Maya his playboy ways are over and that he can be the man she needs and deserves. Life is too short not to take what really matters, and to him, that’s Maya.

Note: This is book three in the stand-alone Hawks MC: Next Generation series. Like a lot of Lila’s MC books, you’ll discover romance and heat wrapped up in the love of a MC family.

A long time crush on her brother's friend turned into Maya needing to keep her distance to save her own heart, despite Texas wanting nothing more than to be more than just friends. The emotions and angst between her and Texas was done in such an intriguing way and it had me captivated. Texas was the epitome of why I'm obsessed with heroes that are the ones that chase after heroines. I loved the subtle way he put himself into Maya's path and cared for her even when she wasn't fully ready for him to.

This was a great addition to the Hawks series and I already can't wait to go back and re-read the stories.

I have a visceral thing against most MC romances because most have that well-known icky factor. Definitely not so in this book. Not one trace of any club wh0re on the horizon. It would seem one has to go to Australia to find decent MCs with decent males 😁!

Apart from one big event, nothing happens in this book. The H/h spend the time dancing gently around each other, and second guessing the other. The pace is a slow crawl, with much stagnating along the way. The romance was a tad too sweet. Very goody-two-shoes. Which there is nothing wrong to be. But it did not make for an exciting read, or at least it was not to my tastes.

As much as I appreciated the gentlemanly MC style with a hint of vigilante style violence (suggested), the romance was almost such a non-event. The blurb was much more exciting than the actual romance.

P.S. Throughout the book, there is a great notion of a big, extended family with strong ties. Very commendable, all of which points to the noble side of what one would imagine for an ideal MC. Though I could get lost with the sheer number of family members but then let's not forget that this book is Book 3 of a spin-off series from two previous series.

P.S.2 The book cover is gorgeously done!

My love for all thing Lila Rose began late in the game and it’s taken me almost this entire year to catch up to reading the Hawks Motorcycle Club Series and the Hawks MC Caroline Springs Charter Series so I’d be prepared to binge the second generation! It has been a heck of a ride!!

Today though, I’m concentrating on telling you about Texas: Hawks MC Next Generation Book 3 and all its greatness. I’ve enjoyed the heck out of every book I’ve read this year in my long binge, but this story just captured my heart a bit more. Maybe because they had known each other since they were practically in diapers or maybe it was the unrequited crush/love that Maya had for Texas when she was younger, but their story was emotional for me in a way that wasn’t angsty, but yet deeply moving. I was captivated mostly with Texas’ growth as he came to terms with his true feelings for Maya and went after her full force without suffocating her. GAH, I dunno, but it was just so well written that I found myself finished with the story before I was ready!

If you enjoy MC romance fiction that is character driven with low grit and angst, you should really be reading these books!

Maya may have given Texas, her brother’s best friend, her heart when she was a teenager but with the amount of women that have come and gone from his life she knows that he doesn’t feel the same way. She has decided that some dreams aren’t meant to come true and works toward creating a future that doesn’t include him.

Texas used to think of Maya as his best friend’s sister but that is starting to change. After a a traumatic event he is there when she needs someone the most and it forces Texas to face his feelings for her and prove to her that they are destined to be so much more than friends.

Maya shows how feisty and strong she truly is while Texas is both protective and possessive and isn’t about to let anyone or anything come between him and the woman he loves.

Oh gosh it seems like a blink ago Maya was all but a little bub!. I still remember picking up Holding Out and being all consumed in Talon and Zara's story. Even now, its still a favourite. I'm a sucker for the OGs.

Texas was blind to Maya for a hot minute. He was young, dumb and full of cum and frankly the boy went about his business like the young do.
I didn't begrudge him that. That life experience, those moments, it made him the man he is here. Oh and I loved this man. Full of loyalty, love and sweetness.

Maya is the perfect combination of her mum and dad. Strong and sweet with just the right amount of sass. She's crushes on Texas for-ever. I don't blame her and I loved that she didn't just jump in, falling for his charm. She made his work. She knew her worth.

These pair are it. The friendship is the sweetest and the chemistry although there from the beginning, built perfectly.. the tension is EVERYTHING. I loved them trying to fight the pull and be sneaky with their attraction. It was cute AF. They just worked. They made me happy and lord thay slow burn had me on EDGE.

I adore all the characters and the crazy that rolls between. Everything from nosey ass family and friends, to crazy bickering and hilarious banter. They never failed to make me laugh loud and love hard.

This is a feel good sweet romance even though it's MC Although there is a little heartbreaking at the start, this one definitely gives you all the good vibes and I was here for it.

It was ok..wish it was more

Texas and Maya have known each other for years and he knows that she had a crush on him since she was 16..but as his best friends sister, she’s been off limits. Things change the older they got and once he makes up his mind to make her his, Maya is dealt a hard blow by life and helping her piece her life back together comes first…romance will have to wait. Only, he hopes he didn’t wait too long.

I love Lila’s book, the Hawks, everything, but unfortunately, for me, this story was a bit of a snoozer. The back and forth “does he doesn’t she, does he doesn’t he”, “ will she, won’t she…”..it was redundant and boring at times. We were at 60% of the story before we finally started to see some real movement in the story.

It was a good story, but there was nothing to really keep your attention until the last quarter of the story. If it wasn’t for Maya’s trauma, there would be no action throughout the whole book.

I liked the story, I just wish there was something “more”.

Texas is best friends with Maya's older brother, and all of them were part of the Hawks MC so they grew up together. Maya has had a secret thing for Texas for a long time now, but he was seriously oblivious, and he made a lot of boneheaded mistakes when it came to her, and in the present time, she won't have anything to do with him. He's finally gotten his head out of his behind, and yet, she still won't interact with him until something terrible happens to her & he finally admits out loud that she's the one for him. It really cracked me up that everyone knew before Texas knew with the exception of Maya, but he's got an uphill battle before him if he's going to make her his, so is he up for the job?! I really loved Texas (even with his cluelessness at the beginning), and I LOVED me some Maya so in my eyes they were perfect for each other. I don't want to say anything else since it's more fun to experience it for yourselves so I'll end with HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDING TO ALL!

This was such a cute story. I loved Texas and Maya. They were like super adorable right from the start. I love how Texas showed his interest in her even though she didn’t wanna believe it at first. As a story wet and their relationship got deeper involved, I love to seeing their banter and just them being them. Such a ready read! 4 stars. #2OCCJD

Hawks royalty!

I loved Texas and Maya's story! So happy that Texas finally realized that his future had been right in front of him (pun intended) all along. I loved all that Texas was willing to do to get his life to a place that would make things easiest for Maya. Great to touch base with the Hawks again.

Surprisingly boring.

This one was in a word … boring. The pace was slow. There were plenty of opportunities for the plot to twist and turn but it just slowed down instead.

I lurved Texas and Maya’s story. Absolutely loved it! I feel for Maya and her feelings for Texas. And just when she's moving on, Texas now realise that he has feelings for her. Oof, I absolutely loved all the feels these two gave me. Really made my heart wrenched especially the first half. Then the second half just made my heart flutter though both of them were filled with uncertainty about each other's feelings. But dang, these two really captured my attention and never let go.

While the story is set in Australia and the characters are all Aussies, they all sounded and acted more American than anything so that was a little weird. But my problem was I got bored and started skimming from about the halfway mark.

Le sigh.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

Life is too short not to take what really matters, and to him, that's Maya.

This is the third book in the Hawks MC: Next Generation Series. You can read this book as a complete standalone but I have loved the other books in this series too.
This is the story of Texas and Maya. These two have known each other for as long as they have been alive. He is her brother's very best friend in the world and he has always seen her as the little sister and nothing more. She, however, has had a crush on him for as long as she can remember. As time goes on and she realizes that he is never going to be interested in her like that she decides the time has come to protect her own heart. Texas is an amazing and sought after tattoo artust. He is really working hard to get his business off the ground and running. However he also feels like there is something missing and maybe he really needs to have someone in his life. After all his best friend Cody and Ruin have both settled down and seem to love it. Why wouldn't he love it too? If so who would be the perfect woman? Or has it been right in front of him this entire time and he just never took the time to notice.
I really really loved reading this book. I loved that we got Texas's story and that we got to see some familiar faces too. I fell so in love with both these characters and they story they have to tell is just amazing. I loved every single second of it.

We are finally getting more of the MC family I love from Lila Rose. The Hawks MC are back with another of the next generation – Texas (Dodge and Lo) and Maya (Talon and Kitten) and I was super excited to get stuck into their story.
Talon and Dodge are two of my fav characters being the Presidents of the Ballarat and Caroline Springs chapters respectively, although Talon is the OG of them all. This makes Maya the club princess and you do not mess with the Pres’ baby girl!!!
Texas and Maya have known each other from childhood. Texas although he lived in a different town was best friends with Maya’s older brother Cody, and when they were younger Maya had a huge crush on Texas, like major hearts in her eyes for him, unfortunately this was unrequited and the older Maya got and watched Texas bring a sleuth of girls through the club, Maya decides it is time to move on.
Texas has been working hard to get his business going. Now a much desired and talented tattoo artist, Texas is getting ready to settle himself, but what he is really looking for is someone to share his life with. Seeing his best friend Cody (Coyote) and Ruin both settle down with their forever is making him re-evaluate what he really wants, turns out what he wants has been in front of him for years he was just to busy being a playboy to notice.
Texas and Maya were 2 very strong characters. Trauma threatened to take Maya down. She feels lost in a world she thought could navigate easily, and to see Texas step up and be a rock for her was just like finally you pulled your head out and are finally making sense boyo!!!!! But there is going to be one big obstacle for that boy in the shape of a very large and very scary club President!
The gang as usual brings their outlandish ways and you will never read a book by Lila Rose without laughing out loud at some point.
Texas is a beautifully written story of unrequited love turned on it head! The hero and heroine are tough, fierce and develop such a strong connection allowing the story to keep you riveted to the pages until the end Absolutely recommend any Hawks MC story and am super excited for the next one!!📖♥️

I enjoyed this book. It was fun to read this story about Texas and Maya. They were a cute couple and I liked reading their romance and seeing all of the other previous characters in this story.

Maya has been in love with Texas since she was a teenager. Texas has just seen Maya as his best friend’s little sister since he met her until all of a sudden he started to take notice of her. By the time he realizes, it seems that it might be too late. Maya goes out of her way to avoid Texas because she does not think he could ever change the way he sees her. Texas has to go about convincing Maya that he is truly the man for her.

I don’t really know how to continue to describe the plot without doing a play by play.

Texas is the guy who has slept with a bunch of women (of course). The only thing that made this not both me was that even though Maya was pining over Texas she did not save herself for him. She went out of her way to say that she only had sex once though. But I am just glad that she wasn’t the pining virgin while the guy she wanted did whatever he wanted. I always hate that because I never understand why a heroine would save themselves for someone who doesn’t even like them at the time. If that had been the case in this story I would have been so annoyed.

I always like the action in the books by Lila Rose. Sometimes it is a little over the top but this one was really good. It was actually pretty realistic and I enjoyed how it was told even if it did completely break my heart.

I just really liked this book. It was sweet. It did take a little long for the characters to get together but when they did I loved them as a couple.

I would read this again if I wanted something quick and sweet.

Wow, I am amazed by Lila rose! She did it again and fair warning this book had me crying for almost 30 minutes straight at one point!

I am obsessed with the Hawk universe and love all the badass bikers in these books. That brings me to my ONLY complaint about this book. I felt like Texas wasn't a biker. He was a badass possessive man for sure! But he just didn't give me any biker vibes and honestly, I would have been okay with this book being a next-generation book where they were just a part of the mc family but texas wasn't a part of the mc. It felt rushed and a little like it was a small detail that just had to be in the book so it just got put in there.

I had a feeling Maya had friend zoned me.

But as I said that was my only complaint everything else was AMAZING! Maya was the sweetest and texas was hot🔥 I loved his big heart, how supportive he was, and the still a badass to the core 😍

The twist in this book had me balling my eyes out to the point my husband asked if I needed a hug 🤣 But I swear it isn't a bad thing and I loved seeing and meeting all my favorite characters again.

Samuel was a nice guy. He also didn’t run when Dad opened the front door half naked and pointed at his wound, stating, “I got shot saving my son. Imagine the lengths I’d go to keep my daughter protected.”

This book is filled with love, support, friendship, family, and hot times! suspense and bikers what more can you ask for?

I will say this book overlaps a little with Coyote but you do not have to have read it if you don't want to this book is a standalone

So all in all another 5 stars read that I am obsessed with from Lila Rose

After literally just finishing books one and two of Hawks MC (Next Generation), Coyote and Ruin I was completely ready to start reading Texas. Since Coyote I knew that it was going to be Maya and Texas was going to be the third couple and I was ready for them. I've always loved a romance with second chance, unrequited childhood love romances, because there is just something about the guy never realizing what he had with her until he's moved on after loving him for years and years and now he has to win her over that I really love.
I've really loved this series because while it is a MC romance it isn't a dark romance. Frequently I find with any sort of MC club it can really violent and explicit, so I found this series to be a lot lighter. While there is some violence and it's not a Christian romance or anything and there are s3x scenes, it's not hard core. And while I don't mind those types of romances, sometimes it's nice to be able to read a lighter one.
For me my favorite aspect of Texas was the back and forth between Maya and Texas. For the first third to half of the book neither of them really seems to realize that the other has feelings for them, even though it's completely obvious to everyone around them. So they keep doing this dance where neither of them wants to make their feelings known too much and making a fool of themselves. In particular I felt that Maya did this a lot more because she's loved Texas since she was a teenager.
I cannot wait for book four of this series, if there is going to be one. I really hope that there is more of the next generation, and I plan on going back to read the OG Hawk MC series to see their parents fall in love.

Texas captured her heart and attention the moment she learned what crushes were all about, he was the older dreamy friend of her brother's and the boy she wanted to notice her... but he never did. And that stung just a little more than she cared to admit, so she pushed that crushed aside and tried to replace her feelings for him with feelings for another, but to be truthful it never worked. He was still the only one to make her heart skip a beat... but would never know it. Or would he?

Texas is the love story I have been waiting for, from the moment I met him in the first installment I found myself quite taken with him and wanted to know every last detail about him... and I finally got the chance to meet him, and he did not disappoint!! To see a man with his unwavering strength rendered weak in the knees by his love for a woman was truly something to behold. He was everything I though he'd be and much more!

The way he cared for Maya, the way he supported her and carried her when she was too weak to carry herself... it was all so beautiful. These two had my heart in my throat for the majority of the story, it was such an emotional read, a beautiful display of the power of love and it's healing affect. I loved every single second of it!! This is by far my favorite of the series, it was steamy, heartfelt, funny, and sweet... a perfect escape! Highly recommend!!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.

Texas by Lila Rose is book three in the Hawks MC: Next Generation series and tells the story of Texas and Maya. Maya has been in love with Texas since she was a young girl but was always relegated to ‘little sister’ status, that is until she is all grown up and Texas starts seeing her for the woman she is. When Maya’s life is put in danger, Texas realises that his emotions are more than friendly, but he needs to start showing Maya how he feels about her and help to knock down her walls.

Texas is a full out love story, full of emotion, an alpha male who knows what he wants and a young woman questioning her life but knowing that she has her man standing in her corner. Scenes between Maya and Texas were wonderful to read as their relationship develops from friends into something more. I also enjoyed reading how other family members and people in the MC saw what was in front of them before Texas and Maya did. Texas really supported Maya when life threw her a curveball, and he is super protective and sweet with her.

As always with Lila Rose books, previous characters pop in to share their own stories and witticisms, which help to create a great read about family and friendship. Overall, a great addition to the series and I can’t wait to read the next book.

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review. All opinions are my own. 😊

I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I really love the authors writing style so when I read a description of this book, it sounded awesome. But I have never read a book in this series and in fact I have never read the books about the parents' books either. That said I LOVED this book so much!!! And I was never lost but I also loved it so much I need to go back and read the parents books too.

This is the story about Texas and Maya. Maya at age 16 crushed on Texas, he was 19 at the time. They were close family friends. Well, he did not like her back and so he brought his dates around Maya and so she pretty much gave up on him and in the present, he has been friend zoned.

And now she is 21 and he has a crush on her, but she has not opened her eyes to see that his feelings have changed. Things get really intense early on and it makes both families see how Texas feels about Maya, but she has a long road ahead of her and Texas wants to be there for her.

This book was hot and romantic, and I adored it. If you love strong female leads and the men that adore them and who fall super hard then you will adore this book and story. I adored Texas and how he loves Maya. I also loved how there he was for her, and I loved that he had to fight to show her how he feels about her.

A sweet MC Romance

Never read a MC romance as sweet as this one. I am really picky what reading this type of books means. The right mix does it for me. And this book really got me hooked from the first page. There was no unnecessary drama or beef with other clubs involved. It simply was about the story about Texas and Maya.

With a former crush in her teenage years that never was returned, Maya moved on from pining over Texas. He never saw her and flaunted his girlfriends in front of her. But suddenly now, years later, things returned around. And everywhere Maya is, Texas shows up and looks at her.

Texas is hooked by Maya, shaking his head at himself for not seeing her earlier, he now wants nothing more than to get near her at every chance he gets. But will Maya see that he changed at really sees her or is it too late.

Texas was as sweet as a man in a world of bikers can be and then some. I liked the afford he put in to win Maya over. The time he took to convince her was adorable. I totally could understand Maya and was happy that she took her time and let Texas work for it.

A great story with many characters from former books. Very well written, the story as well as the characters were presented. Loved it.

ARC Review of Texas by Lila Rose (Hawks MC Next Generation)
* * * * *
A perfect MC addition for Lila Rose with this long awaited romance that had me swooning!

Maya has had a crush on Texas since childhood, though she will believe she has grown out of it. Now focusing on her career as a paramedic and trying to date, she does not have time to think about the hot tattooed biker constantly watching her.
Sadly, she never expected a violent and haunting tragedy to come around the corner.
Shook and heartbroken, her family and friends stick by her. It's Texas, however, that is holding her the most.
When Texas watched as the woman he wanted nearly died in front of his eyes, he stuck by her side and helped her through the ups ans downs of her following days and weeks.
Besides, he has already moved to be near her.
May as well go all in!
Sexy tattoo sessions, shower playtime and drunk shenanigans with poor parents present, Texas and Maya are bound to unravel the feelings they have been hiding from.one another.

Been waiting for this love story since they were reintroduced into this series with Coyote! That epilogue was just so sweet I got a cavity...and a massive craving for another tattoo.

***spoilers little here and there***

https://ladiikeiii.wordpress.com/2022...

I receive an ARC from the author.

I can say I definitely enjoyed this book. And happy to get a chance to read it before it came out. Too see how Texas and Maya ended up together. I also want to know will Swan be the next book because I am definitely curious about her because of the Lockland boy. Plus he’s not a MC so I doubt they going to end up together..

I think Cowboy going to end up with Rommy 😂 or somebody daughter I can’t wait to read his too whenever it comes out. Either if he’s with a girl or guy.

But anyways you could tell that Texas cared about Maya. I was hurt with him with that crap a duck hurt her and killed John I was so mad. Because I wanted somebody to help him. But the guy he was a horrible person he did all of that so that he could get drugs from them and then end up hurting them in the process.

I was glad that she lived and she didn’t have anymore problems after that because she already been through enough as it is. She learn to continue living after what happened and I was happy for that.

Review

I just started this series, and it’s my first by Lila Rose. Let me just start by saying man can she write a fantastic MC family and their stories. Her characters are amazing. This had so much going on with all the action and emotions you experience with all the heartwarming moments and love between the two main characters. Just amazing.

This is Texas and Maya’s story. Both have spent their entire lives around the Hawks MC and each other. Texas is Maya’s brothers best friend and her crush for as long as she can remember. To Texas Maya has always been his best friends little sister until she grew up. After he’s hurt and recovering she’s there and her presence calms him. He finally opens his eyes and now he can’t take his eyes off her and is full heartedly determined to prove he’s done with his playboy ways.

This book will have you reading it all at once refusing to put it down for even a moment. They have a connection that is intense, steamy and absolutely perfect. I definitely recommend this book and this series. Am really looking forward to the next book and seeing where and with who Lila takes us.

Texas by Lila Rose
A new book by this author? Yes please! I was excited to get Texas story for sure. I mean who doesn’t love a hot bikers romance unknown I do for sure. This is Texas and Maya’s story. You guys it’s Maya!!! I don’t know about you guys but I have been around since way back then in the Wild cat days and I love love me some Talon. So when I saw it was his daughter I got super giddy to know just how much he would be in the book. I absolutely loved that we got to see and catch up with a lot of my favorite ones from the original ones like Talon, Zara, Josie, Dodge and so many more. This was such a great book to read really. It was everything I expected from this author. I loved that these two got a second chance. They both have been in love with each other with out the other knowing but neither had let it known. Which was the whole problem Maya thought her feeling were joy returned and Texas was not giving anything away so nothing came of it. Until he got his head out of his butt and he went fully in and decided she was his all and he was determined to get her to see they belong together. Loved this book and can’t wait for the next one.

AAH it was good being with the Hawks again. Talon is my man and was good checking in with him and Wildcat…😊

This story is about Maya. She has had a crush on her brother’s best friend, Texas for a long time. Since he gave her, her first kiss. But he didn’t feel the same way towards her. But now they were much older and maybe its time she moved on. But then tragedy strikes and it seems like maybe Texas’s eyes has finally opened…

Like I said it was good being back in the Hawks world. Seeing all my favorite characters was amazing. The story was a good one. It was sweet, romantic and low on the angst. Had some suspense thrown in there. The characters were amazing. Loved Texas. In the beginning he seemed a bit unsure of himself but in the end he got there. Strong sexy alpha male. Maya was exactly what you would want from the daughter of a MC Prez. She was sweet, but don’t get on her wrong side… Loved the story and cant wait for the next one. Looks like its going to be a good one 😊

I enjoyed reading Texas, I knew a lot of the characters from previous books, so it was nice to catch up with them again. It was also good to see Maya all grown up and ready to fall in love with her teen crush. I loved the way Texas suddenly 'saw' Maya and the young lady she'd become and how he was determined to show her that he really loved her and that he wanted something real and long-term with her. He became very sweet and protective of her and was supportive of her when she was trying to decide what to do with her life after a horrific event.

Maya's dad Talon is as alpha male as ever, but her mum manages to tone him down when he tries to be overprotective of his adult daughter.

While I haven't read all of the original series and spinoffs, I have read most and this made the cast of side characters fun to catch up with, there were a couple I didn't recognise that were written as though the reader would know, so I'd recommend reading the previous books even though this can be read as a standalone.

Texas & Maya

They grew up together in the MC. She'd crushed on him but as the little sister of his best friend nothing was happening. She'd done her best to put those feelings behind her. Still, he was around more, a lot more. Around her not just her brother. What was going on?

He wasn't a dumb teen thinking below his belt anymore. He could see what a beautiful person she is inside and out. Now he just had to figure out how to make her see that. She was his she just didn't know it yet.

Love the characters even though I haven't read all of the first-generation series yet. The families--club, and blood--are funny, loyal, and want the best for the rest of them. Will her dad and brother loosen up their protective natures to help them along?

This is a romance, not the typical MC with enemies and danger. Although, there is a bit. I love the couple and look forward to reading more about them in future books and series.

Lila Rose always produces such rich spine-tingling immersive stories, ones that completely enthral you from start to finish, with Texas Ms Rose did just that giving us pure perfection and keeping me on the edge of my seat from start to finish, I laughed, I cried and I kept my fingers crossed that Texas and Maya got their happily ever after, but there was never going to be anything easy about this relationship, emotional and hot yes, but easy no! Maya is dealing with her own demons, she has always had a crush on Texas but as that appears not to be reciprocated she now feels it is time to move on, Texas has been building up his tattoo business, and has not really thought about relationships, but the more he sees his friends settling down the more he wants that for himself, Maya is the one for him but has he left it to long to make his move? Of course, he has to get through the big bad President of the Hawks MC, who also happens to be Maya's dad.

Gotta love Texas....

I love Lila's work, The Hawks MC series was one of first MC series that was on the lighter side and I instantly fell in love with Talon and his wildcat!
All these books later and I still love them - especially reading the next general - those babies are now all grown up *sigh 🥰

This is Texas and Maya's story, Maya is the first daughter of Talon and Zara and started off as a smart-mouthed funny young'un who has grown into this mature, compassionate and adorable young woman who has never gotten over her teenage crush! And now that he's finally seen her, properly seen her, he's not letting her go...

I liked that they didn't instantly get together and all was sunshine and roses, they took it slow and made sure they were ready - it was quite funny seeing them resort back to fumbling kids again!

Thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐
