Tariq Sims give update on his future ahead of rumoured Leeds Rhinos move

Tariq Sims has been linked with a move to Super League side Leeds Rhinos, and now the the rampaging forward has had his own say on his future.

Sims spoke to the St George Illawarra Dragons website about his aims for pre-season, seemingly pouring cold water on rumours of a move to the UK.

“We have been working tirelessly but we will be having a little break and we’ll be turning back up in November ready to go,” Sims said.

“We’ve lost a lot of big boys this year but next year we have gained a number of blokes and unfortunately that’s the beauty of the beast in rugby league.

“We’ve got a great coaching staff and great strength and conditioning team and I’m sure they will be licking their lips and whipping them into shape.”

Leeds have already signed the likes of Blake Austin, Aidan Sezer and James Bentley for 2022 but remain the hunt for new blood.

How is this a story. Leeds have there marquee players so I very much doubt Leeds could afford him and it is still likely Tariq could play Origin for NEW in 2022
