Business Banking Sales Officer (Online Channel)
Description

As a Business Banking Sales Officer (Online Channel)you are responsible for generating the target revenue for the Business Banking segment thru efficient handling and closing of MSME (specifically BEL - Business Express Loan and BML - Business Mortgage Loan and BML) transactions of customers choosing or using the online platforms. The role includes active engagement with enablers, specifically with (but not limited to) the Bank’s eComms Team for optimal visibility of Business Banking products in the online space. The responsibility also includes ensuring giving BetterBanking quality of service to the online clients for opportunities to expand relationships, deepen product penetration and build loyalty.

Responsibilities
  • Sells the Bank’s MSME products thru the online space with active and regular collaboration with the Bank’s eComms Team to meet monthly sales targets. Ensures proper execution and closing of transactions for online customers.
  • Works with eComms Team and other stakeholders for online campaigns to generate traffic to the online platforms of Business Banking and achieve optimal acquisition cost. Works with CVP in gathering information on activities of fintech/MSME online competitors for benchmarking or positioning of SBC Business Banking products/services.
  • Works on a seasoning portfolio comprising online accounts for conversion to sales. This includes conducting education or capacity-building program for MSMEs to become creditworthy businesses.
  • Supports other Business Banking Sales teams in handling or closing transactions for load balance purposes to ensure uniform delivery of customer service and TAT regardless of source or channel.
  • Performs the regulatory AMLA/Beneficial Ownership due diligence on corporate borrowers (if not yet SBC depositor) applying thru the online platform for loan amounts P5M and above.
  • Looks out for own training needs to further enhance product knowledge and skills and aptitude in customer service and handling of difficult situations and rejections
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Financial Management, Economics, Marketing or other related fields
  • With a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial or business lending with a bank
  • Must have a strong background/ experience in mortgage/home loans
  • With experience in Credit and mortgage training, financial analysis, communication and presentation skills, sales (hunter), AMLA due diligence knowledge and skills, very literate, and with experience on virtual platforms.
