Levellers Collective (Acoustic)

Levellers Collective perform acoustic reworkings of some of the Levellers’ finest compositions from their back catalogue. Described by Classic Rock as “radical reworkings of old singles…. simultaneously stripped down and lavish”, the Collective shows are very different to a ‘normal’ Levellers gig.

The first, Abbey Road and John Leckie produced, ‘Collective’ album was released to critical acclaim in 2018.Producer Sean Lakeman helped the band reimagine more of the songs they’ve played for nearly 30 years into new and daring musical arrangements on follow up album ‘Together All The Way’. The album is arguably even more stripped back than the first and is focussed on their traditional folk roots.

Released 5 years after the first, it was celebrated with an almost sell-out seated acoustic tour around UK theatres in February and March with new dates now announced for May. The band were once again joined in the Collective by members of The Moulettes on the record, and on stage.
