After 25 singles, 3 EPs and one LP, London-based rap provocateur Mr Streetz is preparing to drop his sophomore LP, Wins & Bosses, on February 24th.

Proceeding the release of the LP, Mr Streetz is priming the airwaves in the UK rap scene by dropping his standout singles, starting with Rags to Riches on February 3rd.

With instrumentals that run in the vein of Rag’n’Bone Man providing a solid, soulful platform for his grime-y rhythmically cutting bars, Rags to Riches is an assertive narration of realistic economic mobility, filled with urban dynamic flavour.

With playful lines sporadically implanted between the mantra-worthy lyrics, the home-recorded hit is a multi-faceted triumph, which exhibits every side of Mr Streetz's engaging attitude that has earned him over one million streams on YouTube, 700,000 on Spotify. With his single, Fish in the Sea, garnering over 200k streams alone.

Mr Streetz said:

“This album is a dedication to all the youngsters who grew up in the late 1990's early 2000´s who wanted to be like the bad guys in gangster films, idolising that lifestyle and the money they made.”

Amelia Vandergast, the Executive Editor at A&R Factory said:

“Mr Streetz may be fresh from his debut, but he has already perfected the art of commanding the mic by pouring an equal measure of soul, conviction and charisma into it. His bars set the bar for every other UK rapper looking to make a distinctive mark”.

About

Mr Streetz is an East-London rapper who grew up with rap music, just as the UK Rap and Grime scene took off with Dizzee Rascal at the pioneering vanguard. His creative journey began with writing lyrics; without a means to record music, he left his lyrics behind to focus on making money.

During the pandemic in 2020, when nobody could leave the house, he found the opportunity to get back into music. After purchasing a mic online, he started making music. In 2021, he found the confidence to take his creative journey to the next level and release his music. The rest was viral history.
