Angelica is used to being in her twin sisters shadow, but playing her as an adult is not a task she really wants to do. That being said her sister is in a bad way and has taken a job as an escort. She needs Angelica to play her for one night as just the arm piece to career driven Hudson Kincaid. She does not expect the connection between them though and when Hudson orders her for a week she knows she has to confess to who she really is. Hudson understands and has a plan to play pretend for a week before having Angelica come out as Angelica. Will their plan go off without an issue, what would be the fun in that.
Entertaining story. I really thought the connection between Angelica and Hudson was full of sizzling chemistry. I thought Angelica's sister was a bit obtuse but it worked for her. I will be checking out more by this author.

Another great book by Scarlett, Hudson and Angelica were a delight to read both had hard time in there late teens where Hudson became a billionaire poor Angelica didn’t have the best of time due to her Twin sister.
we get to follow Angelica who stands in for her identical twin where she meet the hot Texas hottie Hudson it’s a great read with a few hot steamy scene.
for me it’s a definite must read if you have read Scarlett other books you will love this 5⭐️

To be honest, I absolutely adore this book and this love story. I wondered if the 3d book would be as good as the previous ones and I loved it.
The story was really intriguing, especially with the twin swap, even for a week or so. Angelica was a shy heroine, who is not very happy when it comes to her love life. She doesn't believe that she can be really loved and she is not very confident in herself. Enter Angelica's twin sister for a proposition to pretend to be her for a night...Well, more likely for a week 😁. On that night, she feels like she is in the movie "Pretty Woman". And the reason is not her clothes or her appearance, it is Hudson. When they meet for the first time that evening, he is instantly attracted to her (I know that some people don't like insta-love stories, but I do 😍). He can't believe that this beautiful woman will be his for the night. Their story begins after that faithful evening.
I can tell you one thing for sure - he is a bossy alfa male...especially in the bedroom 🥵🥵🥵.
I thought the twin swap would continue till the end of the book, but thankfully, Angelica's identity is discovered by Hudson quite early within the story. After that, it's only Angelica and Hudson and no one else. I was really happy that he managed to get her out of her shell, so she became more confident, strong and a better version of herself.
Even though the book was quite long, I loved the fact the story was fully focused on Hudson and Angelica - their attraction, their feelings, their love. This is the thing I love the most about the books I read.
There was a little drama with Angelica's sister, but everything was resolved quite quickly, making both Hudson and Angie happily in love.
Oh, I forgot something. The love scenes were full of smut, heat and passion. They were literally 🔥🔥🔥.
Overall, I loved the story.

If you are the over protective, responsible older twin like Angelica, you step in and cover for her. As the arranged “date” gets changed at the last minute, Hudson enters and meets Angelica in what can only be described as fate. This is a Cinderella reimagining that is equal parts sweet and super spicy. Lots of family drama and feelings of inadequacy from Angelica put strain on a blooming relationship but Hudson is every woman’s dream Prince Charming and will do whatever it takes get what, or should I say who, he wants.

Having not read a book by this author before I was very pleasantly surprised!! Loved the whole Hudson & Angelica dynamic. You just wanted to wring Ayria's neck for being so selfish. Alot of suspense especially when the bratva were involved. Overall a well written & very entertaining story.

Ange and Hudson shouldn’t have met, they shouldn’t have made sense and they definitely shouldn’t have seen each other more than once but life has a funny way of bringing the forbidden together!
When Angelica steps in to help her sister she didn’t ever expect to meet the handsome Hudson. She didn’t expect to feel things she’s never felt before. Hudson didn’t think the brunette on his arm would be the woman to flip his world upside down but Ange did and together these two break all the rules for love!

Out of this particular series, I think this one is actually the best one so far. In all honesty, twin-swapping stories always make me nervous. I’m glad that the secret identity doesn’t stay secret long. Angie’s crazy twin sister needs her to be her for one night. Angie, being the more responsible and homely kind, is literally going out of her comfort zone to help her sister out. This one-night leads to a whole lot of things, one of which includes meeting Hudson. Sparks fly, everyone is smiling and happy, and chemistry is reacting. As previously mentioned, Angie and Hudson’s story definitely has more meat to it and brought more depth to the novel than Xavier’s and Zane’s stories did. The author also did so well in building up evil-twin sister that I’m still not sure if I want to like her or not at the end. Angie was definitely the more logical and responsible one and I liked that the author didn’t choose to make those characteristics into stereotypical “boring” attributes because responsible should never make you boring. Hudson was also, of course, much like the others, very charming and the perfect book boyfriend you want to have. I think the conflicts and the characters were drawn up quite nicely this round. The only thing that bothers me is that

✔ I was Team Hud in this. So sweet, caring and such a dirty mouth. I love the fact he knew where he wasn't macho enough and owned it to the fullest.
✔ Angelica was such a sweetheart. I loved her comeback lines and her love for dessert and I hooted when she finally stood up for herself.

Hot dang Scarlett Avery has such an imagination and boy readers will love sexy Hudson Kincaid. I loved that on the outside he is all business yet when it comes to Angelica we see a protective side no one has seen including him. Seeing him around Angelica was part all Alpha and a vulnerable side when it comes to well really giving his heart all the way. Then we have Angelica in a way she is like superwoman yet when it comes to her own life she is well blind. I love that she has such a generous heart but there are only so many times you can help family. When it comes to Hudson she is way over her head yet I loved that Scarlett Avery makes her still dream of well her dreams. Seeing these two together not only balance them in a way they never saw coming it is surprising and exciting. Not only is the romance hot between them but man when it comes to passion it is explosive that just blows them away. All in all seeing another billionaire bite the dust to love was awesome especially when you have a smoking hot New Yorker with a Texas twang that is smooth as butter making you melt then Scarlett Avery is your woman to deliver. Loved it.

Angelica agrees to be her twin sisters double (under extreme pressure) for an event as a high end escort. Hudson needs an emergency date/escort for an event. Angelica & Hudson are instantly attracted to each other. The next day Hudson runs into Angelina while she is having lunch with a client (she is a book editor). He confronts her & she discloses what happened. They have dinner & dessert at his house that night where she tells him everything Arya (her sister) has done to get them into such bad financial trouble. Hudson introduces Angelica to Bryce (Billionaire Factor: Bryce) & he tells her that he has dropped the investigation into the conman that swindled her & her sister out of their money as the conman is involved with the Bratva. Hudson takes Angelica on a surprise trip to Bermuda! Once home, they are out to dinner when Arya’s escort boss calls Angelica by Arya’s name. With a title like Wicked Arrangement I expected spice but WOW! I didn’t expect what was delivered - it was sizzling 🔥 (dirty talk was a solid 10/10)
The dedication says this book is for those who are addicted to smut, but also need the feels - and for real that’s what this book gives so I’d say ‘mission accomplished’.
When I saw this was Pretty Woman inspired I just knew I had to read it and I’m so glad I did because I was living for the Pretty Woman vibes it was giving, I loved the story of Angel (cute nickname btw 😘) & Hudson, throw in the words “I don’t do vanilla,” and I was unable to put this book down, even the twin swap had me on the edge of my seat and I knew it was coming - seriously though it’s not just spicy, finding out about Hudson & the strain of the relationship between Angelica & her twin because of the bad life choices Arya makes made me feeling all of the above when it came to my emotions I love a book that can take me on a journey with the characters and this one did just that <3

Hudson needs some arm candy and hires Brinley, real name Arya. Only Arya can’t make it, but for not to lose out on the money, she asks her identical twin, Angelica, to take her place.
Neither Hudson or Angelica could anticipate the chemistry they shared from the moment they met.

The writing and spice is amazing. I didn't finish the book, not because the plot or writing was bad, but I just can't handle the guy who screams at another man for hitting on "his woman" and threatens to snap them in half. Lots of people love those types of romances, though. If you like that type or really don't mind it, this book. The spice level is crazy and the writing is great. I almost finished it anyway to find out what happened, because the plot was so good, but I figured it was going to end up in an HEA.

A Very Wicked Arrangement by Scarlett Avery is the story of Angelica and Hudson. Angelica is the older twin to her sister Ayra. So, she has taken on the role as the responsible one and she looks out for her sister. When Ayra takes a new job at an escort service she ends up getting sick and doesn't want to miss the date assigned to her. So, she of course asked Angelica to fill in...which she does. Hudson is the well off man who doesn't have time for relationships so an escort service to an event is what he needs and this leads him to meet Angelica. Enjoyed this story and I hope to read more from this author.

My first Scarlett Avery book and I was not disappointed. This was very interesting to read. I love the societal gap between Hudson and Angelica.
I loved how the characters were able to ease into a relationship. There were definite laugh out loud moments and the smut was something else.
Hudson is in a class of his own. The way he was described and his actions have made him another book boyfriend.
I love that the twins were able to get their acts together without much drama and that everyone got their happily ever after.
If you are looking for your next billionaire read with spice and plot, then I recommend this.

This book was okay for me. The story itself was well written and entertaining. I just had a huge problem with the sister (and I know that’s how she was written and I was supposed to dislike her but I just really wanted to throat punch her for the whole book) and at some points Angelica also for not standing up to her. But overall I enjoyed it.

My first and definitely won't be the last book that I read by Scarlett Avery! From the first page to the last, I was beyond captivated.
I wasn’t sure about the twin switching plot, but I found myself drawn in. The chemistry between Angelica & Hudson was off the charts. I loved watching them find their way to their happily ever after.
I can't wait to go back and read the first books in this world. I hope there is more to come in this series. I am not ready to walk away from these characters and their world.

I thought this book was so good, and honestly, I did not want to put it down. Angelica should never have met Hudson, but when her twin sister comes down with a nasty infection right before her first job as a high end call girl, Angelica fills in for her. Neither Hudson nor Angelica expected to fall for the other, but dam do they just make perfect sense together. This story flows nicely, was a fast, easy read, and one you will completely get swept up in. Make sure you grab your copy today.

steamy but full of drama
I loved how these two met and it’s a very cute and steamy love story but all the drama with the twins is a little much for me. And it was annoying when “angel” kept running for the hills when this man has proved his devotion time and time again.
