This Summer, myself and my friend Sean will be taking part in the Race Around the Netherlands. This is a 1,200 mile bicycle race with over 20,000ft of climbing. The race is fully self supported, meaning once we set off we're on our own, we will be sleeping rough and finding food wherever we can. I will be riding from my home in Cumbria to the start of the race, riding the race, some sightseeing afterwards and then home again, a total of around 2,000 miles in just two and a half weeks.

I'm using this as an opportunity to raise some money for this charity as my mum is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. All ferries, tickets, race entries etc. have already been paid for so all money raised will be going to charity.
