Kurt

She’s smart, hot, and funny. My dream girl.
There’s just one problem. She’s also my best bud’s little sister.
The sparks have always been there, but law school had to come first. Now, we’re all back in the city and the same sparks fly every time I run into her.
She needs a job and I need an assistant at the law firm. What could go wrong?
I don’t know if I can hide my feelings any longer.
I know I shouldn’t go there, but I can’t help it.

Corina

My brother's back in town, and I offer to share my awesome apartment. Imagine my surprise when his best friend Kurt walks in.
He’s still tall, dark, and handsome, and I can’t deny the pull.
Working together only complicates things. Long days and nights in the office can be dangerous.
When we’re not at the office, he’s always hanging around my apartment. To see my brother. Yeah, right.
All I know is, summer in the city is about to get a lot hotter.

After all, 425 Madison is the perfect place to fall in love.

Let me start out by saying, I’ll be second guessing what people are doing in the sauna before I enter, HOLY COW that was one HOT scene...no pun intended. ;)

BACK FOR MORE is a story about two people that have always felt an attraction towards one another but it was sort of forbidden since Corina was Liam's younger sister and Kurt knew that it would ruin their friendship if he ever made a move on her. That didn't stop their almost kiss one night and the thoughts he's had about her throughout the years even though they hadn't seen one another in a while. Liam is back in New York and living with his sister until he can find a place of his own so their worlds collide again and this time the force it to much for them to ignore.

Corina knew that she wanted Kurt and she always had. You can feel the attraction through the pages of this story and I was instantly rooting for them. My one thought was when will Liam catch them, and I really hoped it wouldn't be an ugly scene.

I am not going to give anything away by telling you if and how Liam caught them, or tell you if they had all kinds of wild sex while working together at the office. What I will tell you is that this was a HOT, QUICK read by a new to me author that had me adding a couple more of her books to my TBR shelf. Happy Reading!!!

Back For More is the seventh book in the 425 Madison series, and like the prior books this one works perfectly fine as a standalone story. Each book offers something different, and it’s a great way to find new authors whilst following the same locations. There are some cameos throughout the series, but it’s never to the point where it interferes with the story.

I’m going to be honest and say I had mixed feelings towards this one. Although it was a quick story that kept me turning the pages, I felt it was lacking. There were plenty of things introduced, and I feel like most of these things were dealt with far too easily or never dealt with in full. From all the things introduced, I expected a lot more to come from this one.

I confess, there was a point where I did consider giving a three-star rating, but in the end I’d been expecting that little bit more. Overall, I fear this is just one of those cases where the story didn’t quite work for me.

Corina is currently unemployed, her roommate skipped town and so her older brother, Liam, who secured a job in the city has moved in with her to help with bills and until he finds a place of his own.

Kurt is a lawyer, he works long hours and is Liam’s best friend since childhood.

When Liam invites Kurt over one evening Corina is shocked to see him, not for any reason other than the childhood crush she had on him is still there, unbeknown to her, Kurt feels the same! They both remember that almost kiss they didn’t share!

Kurt turns up one night when Liam is out to speak to Corina about a few things and the sparks are flying, but how do you tell your best friend that you want to date his sister! And how does one sister tell her older protective brother that she wants to date his best Friend!

What follows is a sweet story of two people determined to be together but are afraid of the reaction of the one person they care so much about!

I did enjoy this story but felt the ending was a bit rushed.

Back For More by Sylvia Kane is book 7 in A 425 Madison Series. This is the story of Corina and Kurt. I have read some of the previous books, but feel you can make this a standalone book if you wish to do so.
Corina has lost her job and her current relationship so when her brother Liam, finds a job but needs a place to stay of course he moves in with her. But then his best friend Kurt who she hasn't seen in a while starts coming to see him. Corina always had a crush on him but of course it stayed in the crush form. Now Kurt is offering her a job as his assistant which puts her in closer contact than just seeing him at her apartment. Kurt always had feelings for Corina but her being his best friends sister puts her in the no fly zone and then he went to law school. Now in the present day he not so sure he can hid his feelings especially now they are working together.
Cute fun read.

What's not to love about the 425 Madison series? Not much!

This was a great best friend's sibling romance. Is that a trope?

Corina and Kurt = Awesomesauce

They had the best chemistry from the start.

How they work out their relationship is wonderful A little bit strange at times, but wonderful. I was a little befuddled at why they seemed to be worried about what Corina's brother felt about her being involved with Kurt and not the fact that he got her a job. She referenced #MeToo but I don't think that it was being referenced in quite the way that it should be.

I devoured this book, like a chocolate bar. Its a quick fun read, that definitely falls into the beach read category. I always read romance when I used to tan.

A second chance with your brother’s best friend…this was a cute story with two of my favorite tropes!

From the moment Kurt enters Corina’s apartment for the first time you could feel the tension between these two come to life. It’s obvious that the old feelings are still there, but that whole “brother’s best friend” thing gets in the way. Of course, they end up giving in to their desire and now don’t know what to do about it…especially when “just this once” keeps turning into “just this once more.”

Of the two I did like Kurt much more than I did Corina. Kurt may have wanted to keep things quiet at first, but he quickly comes to realize that his feelings run deep and he’s willing to fight for what he wants, even if it means having to deal with Liam, Corina’s over-protective big brother who is also his best friend. Corina’s reactions to the situation at times had me frustrated – and I kind of wish her issues from her past relationship were brought more in to the story which, for me, would have made more sense when it came to what I considered some trust issues. But still, these two were cute together and easily had you on board with them getting their happy ever after.

I really liked Corina’s brother and her family. Liam was a great big brother and I loved his reaction when he found out about Corina and Kurt’s relationship. Corina’s mom had me cracking up and I loved how she saw right through things and offered some great advice to Corina.

This was another fun read in the 425 Madison Series, which overall has been entertaining and had some great stories. This book can easily be read as a stand alone though since the building and quick cameos of characters are all that really tie this series together.

Overall, a fun, quick read that doesn’t get too deep and leaves you with a cute happy ever after.

Fantastic best friends brother story

Corina has a brother that recently came to stay with her. That brother had a best friend named Kurt. There has always been a connection between them but loving your best friends sister isn’t the easiest thing to do.

Now all grown up their paths cross again and this time it’s inevitable, they will be together.

They were sweet and kind, Corina of course terrified to tell big brother.

But at 425 Madison Ave love abounds and this story is no exception to that.

I enjoyed the book. There were some glimpses into the past and lots of wonderful dating fun now.

*3.5 stars* First off I'll start by saying I was NOT a fan of Corina at all. She kept reminding me of a child afraid to ask for another scoop of ice cream. She sat there and told Kurt that she was tired of the lying and secrets yet she's the one that refused to tell her brother about her relationship with Kurt. Then she refused to talk to him and ignored all his phone calls. It took him making a stand for her to finally grow a pair. Kurt was nice and such a gentleman. He really stepped out of his comfort zone and opened himself up, in more ways than one. This was a good book but I think it was my dislike for Corina that made this book difficult for me.

Like a fine wine....

Kurt and Corina always had chemistry but because of her brother being Kurts best friend it never went far. Years later they are all brought together again and for Kurt and Corina the chemistry has simmerd, come to a boil and consumed them. So where do they go from here.......

Corina isn't thrilled with her life right now. Single and laid off, her savings are dwindling and the job market in NYC isn't booming. Her big brother Liam, moves in when he gets a brand new job in the city until he can find an apartment. His first night there, who should follow him through the door but Kurt. Corina crushed on Kurt back in high school but nothing happened. She still thought about him but Liam hadn't mentioned him in ages. Never did she expect him to walk through her door. Kurt has thought about Corina over the years but he never went there with her. He couldn't break the bro code back then and date his best friend's sister. Now they are adults and he has a solution to her problem. He needs an assistant he can trust and she needs a job. He will just have to ignore his desire to kiss her breathless and how she looks at him like he is dessert. That should be no problem, right?

This was a cute tale of two people who are finally in the right place at the right time to explore the attraction between them. Both of them not wanting the complication of a relationship but their physical attraction keeps pulling them together. Corina is a smart woman but the lay off and lack of job offers, along with a bad breakup really did a number on her confidence. Kurt didn't have the best role model for relationships with his dad being a lawyer too who cheated on his wife. He didn't have time for a relationship but he can't ignore how Corina made him feel. I had a lot of fun watching Kurt and Corina discovering what is really important to them and going for it. They finally stopped letting fear control them. Back For More was a sweet, fun read that put a smile on my face!

Corina has always had a little crush on her older brother Liam's best friend Kurt, and at one time they almost seemed to have a moment, but that was years ago. But now fate has pushed them back together again. Kurt needs an assistant and Corina needs a job, the perfect helpful situation- but can they resist their feelings for each other this time around?

I really loved this cute little HEA story! Back For More was a fast, sweet adult contemporary read that I read in a single afternoon. I am such a sucker for the best friend/older brother's best friend trope, with the hint of the forbidden thrown in for fun. The story was roughly 150 pages making this a perfect quick getaway read with the best kind of result.
And I did previously used the words sweet and cute, but for all you romance fans over there, there were some fun steamy, fun encounters too! Let me just take a minute here to mention that Kurt was the most wonderful of men- thoughtful, helpful, sexy, smart, adoring...did I mention sexy? Yep, he was a keeper for sure.

I loved getting the chance to meet Corina and Kurt, there story is totally worth reading. I would love to have a follow-up book about Liam the brother- I would love for him to be more developed and get his own HEA. I have read multiple books now in the 425 Madison Series and I am so glad that I got the opportunity to visit the hotel and meet all the random tenants. I love that all the books are standalone stories with couples finding romance in all kinds of ways, with complications and angst all their own.

I reviewed a complimentary copy of this title.

When she was a teen, Corina developed a little crush on her brother's best friend Kurt, but with an age difference and him being forbidden, that crush never blossomed into anything more than just some swoony feelings. To be honest she had kind of forgotten about him... that is until her brother shows up at her apartment, with him in tow.

Now that little crush is back full force, and this time there is an unexpected mutual attraction, Kurt seems to be more than a little interested in what is brewing there between them. But acting on said attraction could be trouble... SO much trouble for both of them!

Corina and Kurt's story had me captivated right from the start... nothing grabs your attention quite like a steamy forbidden romance! As soon as they wandered onto the page it was evident there was something brewing between these two, but that little something was forbidden, and went against bro-code. So they tried their best to ignore it, follow the rules, but you can't ignore what the heart wants for long! I loved watching these two dance around one another, and fight the obvious sparks, they had dying in anticipation!

Back For More is a charming forbidden romance filled with moments that are destined to give the heartstrings a good little tug! Highly recommend!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.

Freaking awesome series and I get more and more excited to see what the next author has in store for us! This author is completely brand new to me and I was eager to see how this best friend’s sister love story played out!!

Corina seemed like a genuine girl who loved her brother and was just going through tough times at the moment. Parts of her story seemed unfinished though, like I could’ve really fell hard for her with more of her past. She’s very closed off and while we only got bits about the past it was enough to make your heart bleed with pain for her. But it fell a little flat for me and I know this wasn’t a dark book but if you add some trauma you should explain it a little more and not just brush it aside.

Kurt was a bit of an unknown card for me. I love that he’s going for what he wants. He isn’t taking any crap from many sides, like dealing with his family, he’s not letting them push him around. I also felt his story was unfinished too because you don’t really know how they overcame each other’s issues. It just seems like we were suppose to know that they talked and Corina’s issues disappear and while I know it could happen but it just seemed very unbelievable for me.

Great story with everything together, but if I’m being picky I just felt they were unfinished. The jump at the end was a bit much for me but I loved it! I loved the idea of best friend’s sisters and the siblings being close in the first place. Great job! Congrats!

The 6th book in the Series by Sylvia Kane is a perfect Sixer

The book, I have been waiting in the series is finally out by my favorite author Sylvia Kane.

Working under your high school crush is trouble that too if he is your brother's best friend it a bigger trouble.

Corina is just out her favorite marketing job and struggling to find a new job. At this moment her friend and roommate moves out the apartment they share in 425 Madison Avenue, the place where everyone finds their perfect love story. But Corina's brother Liam enters as her savior when he moves to NYC to make a life and ready share the rent. The one thing Corina didn't expect was Kurt, her brother's best friend, her high school crush, enters with her brother.

Kurt has always wanted Corina but he was hesitant as she was his best friend sister but his attraction for her was never gone. Coming to know about her employment and single status he wants to enter more in her life. He offers her to be his legal assistant as he is in search of one and also by that chance, he can be closer to her. This time he is not just back, he is BACK FOR MORE.

Will both give in for their attraction? What will happen when Corina's traumatic past wounds surfaces back? is the remaining which perfectly scripted in a hot and sweet romance by Sylvia Kane. I loved this story and recommending it to all romance lovers.

Corina's brother is back in town, so he's staying with her temporarily, because not only are they close, but she also needs some help while she tries to find a job in her field. Along with her brother comes his best friend, Kurt, who she's had a crush on, and boy is he even sexier now. And to make things better, he's offered a temporary job as his assistant, which she knows will be bad, as their chemistry is strong, but she has no choice but to take it. Kurt sees Corina as his dream girl, and he also knows offering a job is crazy, because of the bro code, but the pull is too strong, plus he wants to help her out. Their chemistry refuses to be denied, and it explodes into sexy times that light the sheets up, but it isn't long before she can't bear to hide them from her brother anymore. This is another sweet with heat story at 425 Madison Ave that I really enjoyed. My only complaint is that I wish they were longer to be honest. These two plus the secondaries are people that I would want to hang out with in real life, not to mention this apartment building in one that I would kill to live in. If you want to see how Kurt & Corina tell her brother, then you'll have to one click this baby! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Sometimes in life we make assumptions about things that are going to happen before they do without trusting and seeing where life takes us. Being cautious is one thing but do we have the right to play mind reader when it involves other people and how they are going to react or should we trust and see how life plays out? This is a main component in this book. That’s what makes this story so real.

I enjoyed this book but felt it could’ve gone a lot deeper in details. In my opinion there were situations that weren’t fully explained and the ending seemed a bit rushed. That being said it was a story I could see happening in real life.
I don’t do spoilers that’s why there’s a blurb. I don’t think it’s fair to the author. It’s my job to tell you how the book affected me.

Corina is a girl that has been hurt before. She’s attractive, smart and not able to trust easily.
Kurt, is handsome, successful and has his own set of family issues that make him tend to be wary in life.

The secondary characters were interesting and I would’ve liked to see more development in them. I could see another book involving some of them.

All in all it was an enjoyable book.

I’ve absolutely loved some of the installments in this series and some have been just o.k. for me. Luckily, I thought this one was fantastic, even after reading it twice! Kurt was the perfect blend of sexy, sweet, and successful while Corina was the seemingly sweet sister with a major sexy side to her.

The main premise of the book is that Kurt and Corina like each other, have crazy chemistry together, but fear her brother Liam’s reaction to them being together. I find it odd that this is such a common plot in books, the plight of two people wanting to be together but can’t because of a best friend being the brother or sister of the love interest, but it does add some drama for sure.

Other than the brother issue, there wasn’t a lot of conflict or deep layers to the plot, but this was certainly an entertaining read. Author Sylvia Kane made me totally fall for Kurt, and his big moment towards the end was amazing. It was impossible not to root for them and hope that they found their HEA.

Back for More is a fun, quick read that is a wonderful addition to this series!

Back For More was a different read than what I'm used to with the characters  acting so young but after a few chapters I got into it and things were going well. The main characters weren't unknown to each other when we're introduced to them so that gave the story a deeper layer right from the start.

Both Corina and Kurt have family issues, albeit different ones, and it was a nice thing to bond over. A bit atypical, I'd say which helped. I'm always a fan of best friends little sister trope even thought I pretty much loathe the overprotective Neanderthal brother thing (insert eye roll here), but for me Corina was pretty much unlikable. I get that she had issues but the story didn't dig too deep to help us understand and empathize with her plight, which meant she was mostly annoying.

That being said, I did enjoy the couple together. There was tension and sensuality, a bit of humor and the obligatory conflict. I enjoyed the read and it was a pretty quick one, I just wished some parts had been addressed a bit more.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "BACK FOR MORE" This was a fun entertaining, interesting storyline Corina is in a bit of tissy she just had a bad break up, lost her job and her roommate just up and left her with her money problems she couldn't afford to there by herself.
Liam got a new job so he was moving back to NYC and offered to move in with his sister Corina temporarily when he arrived he didn't come alone Kurt walked in right behind him you could cut the tension with a knife.
Kurt was going to offer Corina a job as his assistant which would put them more in contact with one another and he knew she was off limits because of his BF Liam she was his little sister.
They had one night of hot steamy sex but it didn't end there they had another there chemistry was smoking hot it was fun to see Liam reaction when he finds our and her mom was great she already had a feeling about them.
This was an enjoyable read but I wished there had been more it would have made the story even better in my opinion but I do recommend to get this short sweet sexy read,

In Back For More we meet Kurt and Corina. They’ve known each other for a long time but they’ve been hands-off in their relationship. Kurt is Corina’s brother’s best friend and the rule of never dating your best friend’s sister is something Kurt respects. That doesn’t mean that he doesn’t want to start a relationship with her.

As the story goes on, the attraction heats and they can’t help but come together. Reading about them working out the dynamics of their relationship. They want it to become something more but friends with benefits is how it starts. The end if my favorite, I love how it all came together and Corina and Kurt got the ending they deserved.

This is an amazing series. With each book, I meet a new character that resides at 425 Madison and sometimes I get glimpses at characters from the previous book. Each book is short, easy to read, and has some heat.

This was a decent book, but not my favorite in the 425 Madison series. Kurt and Corina have known each other forever since he’s her older brother’s best friend. She’s always had a crush on him and it turns out that was mutual, but Kurt was afraid of ruining his friendship with her brother. Things heat up quickly between them, though, and they can’t deny their feelings for long.

This book kept me interested; it isn’t a bad book by any means. I just wasn’t really feeling the connection to the characters like in others of this series. I did appreciate the cameo by Savannah from Two For Holding (while other residents of 425 Madison can make appearances in other stories, these are true standalones). I know there has to be tension and a conflict to overcome in a story, but these two seemed to manufacture their own conflict where one didn’t exist and I was as exhausted by their secret as they were.

A wonderful fun sweet forbidden little sister romance. This smoth flowing descriptive storyline is well written and drama free. This rewarding emotional rollercoaster had me addicted from the start keeping me engaged till the last page is turned. Corina and Kurt almost had a moment years ago, years later their feelings and chemistry had not deminished but had actually intensified. Worry of Liam, her brother's reaction has them struggling secretly leaving a suspenseful air of can them survive the pressure and have a HEA they both desire. The characters are interesting, well developed and still have a connection in a great journey as these two try to ignore and work through which is obviously the inevitable in this cute, little steamy refreshing story. I voluntarily reviewed this great addition to the 425 Madison series.
