The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has opened its 2024 paving season to resurface roads in Fairfax, Prince William, Loudoun, and Arlington counties.
Reminder: Contract crews make every effort to adhere to schedules, but changes can occur due to weather, unforeseen issues with equipment, material availability or changes to other schedules. Crews will resume original resurfacing operations as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding!

Treatments are chosen based on a variety of factors, including the current pavement condition, the ride quality and the volume of traffic a road carries. Roads slated for resurfacing will receive one of the following treatments:
