The first teaser is here for ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ and we’re feeling all kinds of excited about it.
Michael Keaton reprises his iconic role as the fiendish troublemaker Beetlejuice from the 1988 classic and he’s joined by returning cast members Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara. New cast members for the sequel include Justin Theroux, Arthur Conti, Jenna Ortega, Monica Bellucci and Willem Dafoe. Tim Burton returns to direct too!
Beetlejuice is back! After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s (Winona Ryder) life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid (Jenna Ortega), discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened. With trouble brewing in both realms, it’s only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem.
The film’s screenplay is by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (‘Wednesday’) from a story by Gough & Millar and Seth Grahame-Smith (‘The LEGO Batman Movie’). It is based on characters created by Michael McDowell & Larry Wilson.
‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ will be released in the UK on 6th September 2024 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
