About Student Action for Refugees (York STAR)

York STAR is a refugee advocacy group. We campaign, fundraise and spread awareness about the refugee and asylum crisis around the UK and in Europe and we have fun while doing it. This term's events include a UNHCR collaboration, a Ben & Jerry's sponsored movie night and our STARz In Their Eyes end of term karaoke fundraiser.
