Do you dream of working behind the scenes of your favourite TV shows?
If you are looking to start your career in unscripted TV but aren’t sure where/how to begin, come along to our Crew Academy Bootcamp on the Wednesday the 11th of October at the Toffee Factory in Newcastle.
The North East has seen a recent increase in the amount of unscripted shows being shot in the region, from Robson Green's Weekend Escapes and Northern Justice, to Scarlett's Driving School and Angels of the North. We aim to shed a light on to the many roles available in unscripted that you may not be aware of. This is your opportunity to have your questions answered by existing unscripted trainees and experienced Assistant Producers, Directors and Production Assistants.
With sessions on what to expect working in the industry, and how to perfect your CV, as well as insights from experienced crew giving their top tips for getting into and getting on in the industry, Bootcamp is a must to help you get your foot in the door.
You MUST be 18 or over and be based in the North East. 3rd-year degree and final-year students welcome.
Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
