inDrive receives LTFRB accreditation, and will compete with Grab soon!

For those who don't know yet, inDrive originated in California providing mobility service, and is known for its haggling system. In other words, the driver and the passenger can freely communicate and negotiate the fare rates.

Once the user (customer) pins their pick-up point and destination, a driver will accept it and they can begin discussing the fare price with the driver by taking all the accounts such as fare, distance, model of car, and more.

With this style of system, inDrive has a tiny 10 percent commission rate and does not offer discounts or incentives.

But don't get yourself excited yet if you are residing in Metro Manila. inDrive primarily targets outside NCR and will cater services to Bacolod, Baguio, Iloilo City, Cagayan De Oro, and Butuan.

Drivers who will register with inDrive and have all the appropriate accreditations will receive a USD 10 or PHP 600 fuel voucher. As an additional,  drivers can accept rides through the app without having to pay service costs for a limited time.

Prior to coming to the Philippine market, inDrive had already made a name for itself in nations in Southeast Asia such as Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. Currently, inDrive is available in 45 countries and over 700 towns.
