2024 Accounting & Auditing Update

The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) works continually with financial statement users and other stakeholders to improve accounting and financial reporting. Each year, the FASB issues new Accounting Standards Updates (ASUs) to accomplish this goal.

It’s important that entities maintain an awareness of standards to ensure their accounting and financial statements continue to comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Our spring Accounting & Auditing Update covers ASUs effective for 2024 financial statements and beyond, including the most recent updates related to crypto assets, and joint venture guidance. We’ll also cover the most recent developments on the Employee Retention Credit (ERC), other emerging issues, and changes to audit, review, and attestation standards.
