CALL FOR ABSTRACTS!

We are excited to announce an open call for abstract submissions for presentation at the upcoming Philadelphia Area Simulation Consortium Conference (PASC), hosted at Lehigh Valley Health Network’s Center for Healthcare Education on October 10th, 2024. The 2024 PASC conference’s theme is, “Forging the Future of Simulation: Embracing Transformation and Innovation.” PASC is a space to share your innovative strategies in simulation and promote knowledge sharing, community building, advocacy and education, innovation and research, and accessibility.

We ask for passionate abstract submissions for various presentation methods including podium or poster presentation, or interactive simulation workshops.

2024 Keynote Speaker: CAPT(ret) RYAN CARRON
U.S. Navy Captain (retired) Ryan Carron is a U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis MD, distinguished graduate. A highly decorated Naval officer and aviator; he has recent CEO-equivalent leadership experience commanding a Naval Helicopter Wing comprised of 3600 personnel, 15 subordinate units, and 175 aircraft deployed globally. Ryan has extensive international, special operations, and interagency experience with strong business and systems design backgrounds. He has over 30 years of military leadership experience with multiple combat deployments and 10 years of healthcare collaboration. After suffering a horrendous family tragedy due to medical error, he founded MEDTOPS to bring relevant high reliability military aviation systems to the healthcare force.

His experience as a Stage IV cancer survivor further reinforced his life’s new mission in healthcare.
