There's a lot that I liked about this book. First of I truly liked Isabella and Hunters relationship. I felt like they had good chemistry and a wonderful connection. I liked how there was no unnecessary drama between them.

Hunter felt some type of way bc of the way she broke it off the first time and after talking to her and his sister he was able to understand Isabellas reasoning. I liked how even though he was already basically in love with her he never tried to force her into anything or try and get her to change her entire life for him. He gave her time and she ended up as in love with him and he was with her.

I think the best thing about them was the fact that they were both willing to change their lives up a bit for each other. I don't wanna get into details cause spoilers but what they ended up working out at the end was amazing. I honestly had no idea how they would work everything out so I was pleasantly surprised.

We also got to see Hunters family a lot which i loveeee. Have a very soft spot for them. Just would have liked at least an introduction to Isabella family at the end or them meeting Hunter especially bc they played a big part in the decisions they had to make. Also I kind of felt like once the show she was filming was over it was just barely talked about. I would have liked to know if anything or if they was any backlash to some people bc of what happened to Isabella while filming.

.......
My only complaint was Isabellas cousin. The way he spoke annoyed my entire soul. Idk why he spoke like that bc 19 year olds nowadays don't say yo and bruh after each and EVERY sentence. It didn't feel natural and it felt more like the author was just assumed that's how young people talked and had him doing it 😭😭😭

5 Star Review Hunter (The Stewarts of Skagway #3) by Katy Regnery

When I read the blurb for Hunter, I couldn’t wait to dive in. I was intrigued by Skagway and Dyea. Alaska. The descriptive writing the author provided helped me to see Alaska as I was reading this book.

Hunter Stewart fell for Isabella Gonzalez the moment he set eyes on her. He was shocked when she broke it off and wanted answers.

When fate plays into his hands, he takes the opportunity to work on the production team of reality show, The Astonishing Alaska where Isabella and her cousin are contestants.

What follows is a fast paced story that ticked all the boxes for me. love second chance love stories and this one is a good example of the genre.

From the first chapter I was drawn into the story that Ms. Regnery wove.

🇺🇸I unfortunately didn’t connect with the characters as much as I wanted and found the whole plot-writing quite cliche. Although I will recommend this story if you’re looking for a nice ‘drama-free’ second chance romance. I also really liked how 100% in Hunter is at all times.

Love it!! Katy has done it again!!
Hunter can be read as a standalone, however I don’t recommend that.

The Stewarts of Skagway are a family of 6 siblings. They all work on their family’s local Alaskan travel and tourist business and live in cabins on the campground. Six siblings, three men, three women. All unique personalities, making their mark in the world and discovering love in the most unexpected ways.

Hunter is the oldest. He assumed the mantle of caretaker for his younger sisters & brother after the loss of their mother. Seeing Tanner & Harper find their happy ever after has him rethinking his priorities. Hunter takes a job on an Amazing Race knockoff reality show in order to be closer to the one who got away. Three weeks spent in close quarters with heightened emotions, what could go wrong? Izabella & Hunter took advantage of the opportunity and made the most of it. They are sweet together and spicy! Their final challenge, don’t fall in love, because Bella doesn’t do long distance relationships.

I’m thoroughly enjoying this series. I dare you to read one and not binge them all.

This is my first romance from this talented storyteller, and it was so much fun! I love the wild Alaskan setting, and the antics of the reality TV plot kept me glued to the page. Now I'm intrigued by all things Stewarts of Skagway and will be catching up with the rest of the series.

Isabella Gonzalez is best friends with Hunter Stewart's sister-in-law. When he picks her up from the airport for a visit, they end up spending a few steamy nights together. When Bella goes back home to Seattle, they try to stay in contact, but she's not a fan of long distance relationships and breaks up with Hunter. Badly. Now she’s back as a contestant on a reality TV show, a show that Hunter has managed to get a job as part of the crew, and he plans to get some answers.

This one is charming, clever and entertaining without sacrificing any of the steam and heart. I love Hunter and Bella together, and the secondary characters add so much color and keep things interesting. Masterfully crafted, you won’t want to miss this humorous, heartfelt, phenomenal second-chance romance.

This is the third book in the Stewarts of Skagway series. It features Hunter and Isabela who actually met previously for what Hunter thought was an amazing weekend. But Isabela broke it off because she doesn't do long distance relationships. So when Hunter has a chance to spend time with her again, he is definitely going to do whatever it takes to get her to reconsider!
Not only am I already a fan of this series, but I'm also a huge fan of the Amazing Race. So I really liked the fictional reality show that Isabela was participating in as she travelled in Alaska. Great second chance romance.

Katy Regnery has once again brought out the beauty and wonder of the vast state of Alaska, while making me fall in love with another great couple in the newest Stewarts of Skagway book.

Hunter Stewart may be my favorite Stewart yet. As the oldest brother, Hunter has shouldered a lot for his family, but in no way did it jade his outlook on love. Boy, did this man fall hard for Isabella Gonzalez. I really loved how passionate Hunter is with his feelings, both when it comes to his family and when it comes to Isabella. This is a man you want on your side because when he's in, he's all in.

The only problem with Hunter's decision, Isabella didn't exactly feel the same way. She pushed him away after the first time they were together a year ago, but now she's back in Alaska. At first Hunter wants to turn himself from Mr. Right Now into Mr. Perfectly Suitable. Don't worry it all makes sense when you get to know Isabella and her hangups over long term or rather long distance commitments, but then instead of pushing her past her comfort zone...well...neither Hunter or Isabella want waste the short time they have together on hard feelings and wasted nights alone.

While Isabella still holds firm that long distance never works, she's willing to concede to a short fling, and these two burn up the sheets and make the most of the limited time they have together.  However, as the weeks roll by it becomes clear that long term feelings have developed with their short term fling and it once again creates issues that neither one know how to solve. My heart beat faster as the book crept closer to the end. How were these two, so perfect together going to solve their distance problem?

This book is truly heartfelt on both sides. I love the Stewart family, especially since this is the third book with everyone playing secondary characters and while we didn't get a ton of time with Isabella's family, there is still a connection with them through her and with her cousin who is with her on this trip. Family is just as important to her as Hunter's is to him. That says a lot about of them and how much love they have to give to each other in their hearts. So while I loved connecting with both families, I think what I loved best is that Hunter and Isabella got time away on their own, while still exploring the vast state of Alaska. They both have big families and as individual characters they could have gotten lost within a plot that involved too much family, so I appreciated that they were front and center. What was the cherry on top to this wonderful story, as a long time reader of Katy's, there were a few cameos from Regnery's other Alaskan based books. Those were the best nuggets to find and totally made me smile.

If you've read the first book in the Stewarts of Skagway series, then you may recall the bits and pieces Katy Regnery gave readers of the fling between Hunter Stewart and Isabella Gonzalez, the former being the oldest Stewart sibling at thirty-one who works in the family business and the latter being the best friend of McKenna Cabot and a twenty-six-year-old schoolteacher from Seattle, Washington. Their fling was one that had both considering and agreeing to keep in touch even after Isabella returns to Seattle. But within weeks, she decides to end things without warning, leaving Hunter heartbroken and hurt. So, when he learns that she and her cousin are part of a new reality competition show set in Alaska, Hunter sees it as his opportunity to get answers. With him working as part of the show's production and her there as part of one of the competing teams, Hunter and Isabella are stuck with each other. Will he be able to win her heart again or will they end up losing more than their hearts when all is said and done?

This is a second chance romance that did NOT have breaking up in order to have the other main character go after their dreams as a reason for the relationship originally ending, and let me tell you, it was a breath of fresh air. Was I fan of how Isabella handled ending the long distance relationship with Hunter? No, but I understood where she was coming from, and sometimes, the reality of a situation overrides the romanticism of it all. What I liked most about their story is how the author managed to strike a fine balance between being realistic and staying hopeful when it comes to an LDR. Yes, the love has to be there, but I appreciated that instead of one sacrificing more than the other, it was about compromise because both main characters decided that their relationship was worth making changes and adjustments for. Nearly zero angst, lighthearted romance rekindling, and minimal family drama, Hunter was more than a pleasant surprise. It gets 4.5 stars, and I look forward to our return to Alaska!

Hunter is the third book in The Stewarts of Skagway series. This can be read in order of the series or as a standalone. Since I have not read the previous two books, I read it as a standalone and did not have any issues following the story or any of the relationships of the other characters.

Hunter starts the previous summer with Isabella visiting her best friend Mackenzie in Skagway. Hunter and Bella have a weekend affair and both fall hard for each other. The problem is that Bella does not believe in long distance relationships. But Hunter convinces her to give it a try. In the beginning it is working for them, until she starts missing commitments. At that point she has to make a decision that will cost her and him their hearts.

When she comes back to Skagway for Tanner and Mackenzie's wedding, Hunter is visibly angry with her. However, when he finds out she will be back in June for The Astonishing Race: Alaska television competition, he starts making calls. What does he have up his sleeve?

He says all he wants is answers. He just wants to understand. After several conversations about what happened and how important family is to both of them, he finally understands why. So now what happens?

Well. of course. Hunter presents an offer that Bella cannot refuse. Friends with benefits. No feelings. So how is this going to work? The last time, after only a weekend, both fell hard. What will happen after three weeks together?

So much happens during the three weeks, and then after. This story moves and keeps you engrossed in what will happen next. How will they work things out? How will their families handle the decisions and compromises being made?

While reading Hunter, I found myself wanting to go back and read Harper. She is a very sage young woman. She is the person Hunter goes to when he needs to talk with someone. She is the person he goes to when he needs advice. And she is the person he goes to when he needs encouragement to do what he knows he needs to do.

This is book three in The Stewarts of Skagway series and it is Hunter and Isabella’s story and omg it is definitely a must read. Hunter and Isabella have history because they ended up meeting and having a explosive weekend together and they stayed in touch only for Isabella to call everything off leaving Hunter with so many questions unanswered of what went wrong between them. When Isabella arrives back in Alaska because she is taking part in a new show called The Astonishing Alaska she is surprised and shocked to find out that Hunter is part of the crew and when Hunter sees her again he is determined to get answers and find out what went wrong because he also wanted a second chance with the woman who he had not only fallen for but also wanted a future with. Hunter is such a romantic even after everything that he had gone through but will he eventually be able to wear Isabella down and show her how good they are together so that he can get his girl. Hunter and Isabella were so perfect for each other and together and they both had strong family values and you find yourself hoping that they can eventually communicate and solve their problems and realise that what they have is so special especially when they have such a strong and special connection. Wow I absolutely love this book and series so much and also how the author describes all the scenery and places making you imagine that you are there seeing and feeling everything around you as if you are living through everything as well. I am really looking forward to reading the next book which is Sawyer in this amazing series.

ARC REVIEW

Set in the backdrop of beautiful Alaskan wilderness, this is Book 3 in THE STEWARTS OF SKAGWAY SERIES.

It is a quintessential small town romance featuring Hunter the eldest among the siblings and Isabella, McKenna's best friend. If you have read the first book which is about Tanner you must have read about Isabella coming to meet McKenna for a weekend and got tangled with Hunter on a spicy weekend.

McKenna is against long distance relationships, she thought it was a one time thing and eventually the memories of the heat, the sizzling hot chemistry and the connection they both felt will fade away. McKenna has a practical approach towards love and relationships on the other hand Hunter is big on fairy tales and magic in love, he also felt the connection, spark between them and asked her to give him a chance which she did until she took it all back.

Now she is coming back to Alaska for summers to participate in the race with her cousin and Hunter grabs the opportunity to be close to her to know why she did what she did.

Since it's an ARC review I'm not supposed to give you any spoilers so I won't. The book is about to be released on 31st May so you will have to read it for yourself to get to know more about Hunter and Isabella's story.

All I can say is the book beautifully capture all the emotions, struggles and the compromises people have to make when they are in love and genuinely want to be together. It's a perfect balance of practical and fairytale approach of love.
Katy Regnery never disappoints.

PS: Do read it once it releases.

I have been thoroughly enjoying The Stewarts of Skagway series and Hunter was a really fun story. Hunter Stewart and Isabella Gonzalez met during the first book Tanner. Hunter is Tanner's older brother and he picked up Isabella (who happens to be Tanner's wife's best friend) from the airport when she flew in. Unbeknownst to most everyone, Hunter and Isabella had a passionate weekend together and left with promises to keep in touch. You see, Isabella lives in Seattle and loves her life there. She has a wonderful job as a teacher, a huge family that lives all around her and is very active in her community. The problem is that Hunter has an equally wonderful job and family but his life is in Alaska. Isabella warned him that long distance wouldn't work and they soon crashed and burned. Now it's going on one year later and Isabella and her cousin are appearing on an Alaskan adventure reality show and when Hunter finds out about it, he's determined to find out where he and Isabella went wrong when he thought they had a real connection. Can these two find the HEA that their hearts want even if major obstacles lie in their paths? Also will Isabella and her cousin win one million dollars on a reality show?! Their story was a lot of fun. Way less angst than his sister Harper's story. There is a timeline running throughout the books but each story does stand on it's own. Hunter was told from dual POV and had plenty of laughs, heat, love and Alaskan adventure too!

HUNTER: The Stewarts of Skagway #3 is an Alaskan Romance by Katy Regnery. The romance wasn't fairing all that great at the beginning. Distant relationships do not always have a good ending at all! But if both partners put fourth enough of an effort, but in this affair the girl was the letdown.

Isabella Gonzalez & Hunter Stewart had a really Hot Fling with each other when a visit to Isabella's best friend McKenna, who'd just happened to have a hot brother named Hunter. They were both sad when summer ended, and since Isabella lived in Seattle, with Hunter living with his family in Alaska, they had planned to keep in touch. But Isabella shocked Hunter when she sent a cold text dumping Hunter. He Texted her back wanting to know why but was sent an even colder reply. Why she wouldn't even give them a chance was all he wanted to hear but cut any ties he had with her. He was so hurt and most of his family sided with him that he should move on. When he found out that his Bella was returning to Alaska as a contestant of The Astonishing Race, he thought he would get an employee job with this Race. He figured it was an opportunity to finally find out why his girlfriend had dumped him so heartlessly. Well, all it takes is how a few women staring at Hunter, makes his ex-girlfriend wonder if letting him go wasn't turning out to be the very worst of a decision she'd ever made. Getting his answers might not be all Hunter would be getting!

6 siblings and 6 love stories. The Stewarts of Skagway is a series you only can fall in love with.
This is the third story, Hunter and Isabella. I already read and loved the previous books and was giddy to get my hands on this third book. A fantastic read that gives all the feels, is unputdownable, a pageturner of its finest.

Hunter ~ The Stewarts of Skagway #3 by Katy Regnery.

First of all, Hunter has been written brilliantly, with wonderful characters and a storyline that is believable.
This is book three of this wonderful series from Katy, the way the story unfolds brings the characters to life, and the reader feels that they too are there.
Hunter Steward met Isabella last summer when she arrived in Skagway, they had a romance. Isabella has been burnt in the past with a long-distance romance and she knew the relationship with Hunter wouldn't work when she went back to Seattle.

A year later and Isabella’s back in Alaska, only as a contestant on the new reality show, "The Astonishing Alaska!" Hunter knows this while they attend his brother's wedding to Isabella's best friend.

Hunter knew he needed answers from last year, and the only way he thought he could get them was to get a job on the TV's production team.
Do they still have the same spark as last year? Will Hunter get his answers? Will they get a HEA?
I highly recommend this book to all, I love Katy's books and honestly think this is the best of this new series. I look forward to reading the next books that follow The Stewarts of Skagway.

Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Easy-to-read, Entertaining, Happily Ever After, Informative, Inspirational, Original, Page-turner, Romantic, Realistic, Steamy, and Wonderful characters

This is the third book in the series and follows Hunter and Isabella. I have read all the books so far and this one does not disappoint either. I would recommend all the books in the series. All are very well written with good plots and storylines. These are your traditional small town romances but with some emotional issues.

Hunter is the oldest of the Stewart kids and he started falling for Isabella the moment he picked her up at the airport to visit her best friend (who was dating his brother). Isabella lives in Seattle and has a large family there. Even though she was developing feelings for Hunter also, she doesn't see a long distance relationship working and decided to end things. Hunter didn't understand how Isabella wouldn't even give them a chance and wanted answers. When he finds out Isabella is participating in an Alaskan Amazing Race type show, he signs on as part of the crew so he can talk to her and get answers. The more he starts to understand her reasons and her connection to her own family, he starts to understand her reasons more. So they decide to embark on a friends with benefits relationship until the end of the show. But drama on the show threatens their relationship. And even as their feelings continue to grow, there is still the issue of long distance between them.

A very well written and emotional read.

This is another great story in the Stewarts of Skagway series. An Alaska setting always catches my interest, and this novel brings in a reality show/competition ("The Astonishing Race: Alaska"), which certainly brings extra excitement and suspense. There is a large cast of fascinating characters, starting with Hunter's family, who are definitely in the "characters I wish I could meet in real life" category. The contestants in the reality competition are pretty entertaining, and the competition ideas certainly get pretty wild.

Hunter and Isabella first got together in an earlier novel, but their plan to try a long distance relationship failed. Isabella returns to Alaska, partnering with her cousin in the competition, and Hunter feels compelled to get some answers about why she broke things off. He manages to get a job with the show's production team so he can spend time with Isabella, have a chance to talk to her, and maybe even get together again. Watching them work things out and communicate like real people made for great reading. Ms. Regnery writes some very creative twists, and I was completely engaged until the end.

I was given an ARC and asked to provide a review.

I really enjoyed this book as it was a fun lighthearted romantic story that had a lot of heartwarming moments but it definitely had a more serious side to it and you could relate to what they were going through. I liked the connection and banter between Hunter & Isabella a lot; felt very authentic. Even though it's a series, you can read it as a standalone so I can't wait to see what's next in store. A great read!

As Hunter's trying to move on, it's not easy when he sees Isabella back in town again as they haven't really parted in good ways. When he gets an opportunity to work on the reality show, The Astonishing Alaska, he sees it as a chance to finally figure out why their relationship ended the way it did but it's not really going as planned. When Isabella signed on for the reality show, she never expected to see Hunter again but as they're working near each other, she has no other choice than to face what was broken a while ago even though she's trying to work out the competition with her cousin on the show. It's not easy to keep her distance from Hunter but slowly her walls are coming down but will it be enough for her to give it another try in the end?...

Hunter by Katy Regnery is the newest novel in the Stewarts of Skagway series (book 3). The novel follows Hunter on his journey to find his happily ever after. At one point, Hunter was pretty sure he was with the one he should be with, but it didn’t work out. Hunter was devastated and was dispirited for a winter.

Then an unusual opportunity came up and Hunter decided to take on working for a reality show. He told his family it was about making connections for the family business, but in reality Isabella was part of the draw. Isabella was the woman who broke his heart last year and Hunter wants to understand why. He is hopeful to have answers and just maybe have more time with her.

I like this series for a couple of different reasons. I enjoy reading about families who are close and help each other. I enjoy the setting of the novel and the way the Stewarts made their living in the wilds of Alaska. Mostly I enjoy how both characters had some self realizations and needed to find their way forward back to each other. Katy Regnery has written another hit as far as I am concerned. Hunter is a good read.

Hunter and Isabella's second chance.
Hunter fell hard for Isabella after she visited McKenna (1st book heroine) for a weekend. They wanted to continue but it ended with Isabella text. Ever since the break up, Hunter couldn't get her out of his mind and when she showed up for McKenna and Tanner's wedding, he made sure she is not welcome near him. He still had feelings for Isabella when he finds out she will be in Alaska again, he wanted to find out why she ended their relationship.
Isabella signed up to compete in reality show with her cousin and who does she end up seeing, Hunter. She knew she broke up with him but she still had feelings and she wasn't sure if she could keep away from him.
Hunter and Isabella decided to give each other a fun fling with a deadline but will they be able to end it...
Hunter and Isabella both were easy going characters and I do like their chemistry. Isabella's hangups on long distance relationship was bit much at times and how they end things. I really enjoyed reality show part of the book and seeing the Stewarts brothers/sisters. It was fun summer read.

HUNTER AND ISABELLA HAVE A BRIEF HOOKUP WHEN SHE VISITS HER BEST FRIEND, MCKENNA. AFTER BELLA LEAVES, HUNTER AND BELLA KEEP IN TOUCH FOR SEVERAL WEEKS BUT THEN SHE SUDDENLY BREAKS UP WITH HUNTER WITHOUT AN EXPLANATION. HUNTER IS HEARTBROKEN AND WANTS TO KNOW THE REASON, SO WHEN HE OVERHEARS THAT BELLA IS A CONTESTANT IN THE REALITY SHOW IN ALASKA IN THE SUMMER, HE DECIDES TO JOIN THE SHOW. WHAT THEY DON'T COUNT ON IS THEIR CHEMISTRY AND LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER.

I LOVE THE FAMILY CLOSENESS AND DYNAMICS IN THE STEWARTS OF SKAGWAY. HUNTER IS THE THIRD SIBLING TO FIND LOVE WHEN HE AT LEAST EXPECTED. I THINK HUNTER AND BELLA WERE COMPLETELY CAUGHT OFFGUARD WHEN THEY MEET THE FIRST TIME, THE CHEMISTRY AND ATTRACTION IS SO STRONG BETWEEN THEM. I THOUGHT THEIR STORY WAS SLOW AT FIRST AND I DIDN'T ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS THE FIRST 2 SIBLINGS BUT I FELT THAT THEIR LOVESTORY IS HOW A LOT OF LOVE STORIES ARE BETRAYED IN REAL LIFE. LONG DISTANT RELATIONS DO NOT WORK AS ISABELLA KNOWS. BUT HUNTER AND ISABELLA WERE ABLE TO COMPROMISE AND MAKE IT WORK BECAUSE THEY LOVE EACH OTHER. THE STEARTS OF SKAGWAY SERIES IS A MUST READ. I REALLY LOVE THIS HARDWORKING AND CLOSE FAMILY.

Even though Hunter knew that the time that Isabella was spending in Alaska wasn’t long he wasn’t prepared to let her go when she needed to return to her life in Seattle. He was disappointed when she wouldn’t continue their relationship but when he finds out that she is returning to take part in a reality show the one thing he does know is that he isn’t about to let her walk out of his life for a second time.

When Isabella returns to Alaska, she knows that she must protect her heart due to her feelings for Hunter. At first, she is reluctant but when they find themselves working on the same show the chemistry between them reignites and they agree to a casual relationship. Will this be their second chance or are they destined for heartbreak once again?

This is a touching story about love, family and realizing what will truly make you happy. The choices that Hunter and Isabella face are realistic and with the guidance of those who love them they try to find a way to have everything they want and each other.

Hunter is book 3 in the Stewarts of Skagway series that is set in the picturesque Alaskan wilderness. This book is about Hunter Stewart and Isabella Gonzalez, based in Seattle, and is a second-chance romance.

Hunter and Isabella met the previous year and had an intense, short-lived fling due to Isabella's fear of long distance relationships. Isabella, and a family member, will be back in Alaska to participate in a reality TV show. Hunter ends up working on the production crew for the TV show and wants to find out why Isabella ended their relationship as he still has strong feelings for her. Hunter and Isabella have to work through a lot of complications to get to their HEA.

Overall, I love this well-written series set in Alaska and I'm looking forward to Sawyer's book up next. Thank you to Grey's Promotions and the author for an advance copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions in this review are my own.

Love the Stewarts close knit family. Hunter and Isabella story was no different. Hunter and Isabella spent an unforgettable summer together but when Isabelle went back to Seattle she cut tie shortly after claiming long distance doesn’t work. The next summer Isabella came back to Alaska with her cousin for a reality show. When Hunter found out he joined the crew intending to make extra money … so he tell himself. What Hunter really wanted was answers and closures but he soon realized the chemistry is too strong and old feelings came rushing back. This time they made a pack – fun with no strings attached. Isabella has not change her view about long distance relationship … Can they make it work? It will take sacrifices on both sides. I really enjoy all the Stewarts and how they always support one another. I also love Alaska settings. The Astonishing Alaska reality show was definitely unique and exciting. Fun, entertaining, and swoony second romance.

Loved it! I have read the other novels in this series and loved them. This novel did not disappoint. I was so excited to jump back into this series. I love the Stewart family, and I love a great second chance romance. This novel checked all of my boxes. From the very first chapter this novel reached out and grabbed ahold of my attention and held on tight. I loved Hunter and Isabella. Their chemistry is so good. I loved that when Hunter was able to reconnect with Isabella he wasn't going to miss his opportunity with her this time. I loved watching them fall in love. I love when a novel is hard for me to put down because I need to know what is coming next. This novel checked all of my boxes. I loved that this series is set in Alaska. I can't wait to see what this author has coming next. So good!

Hunter is part of “The Stewart’s of Skagway Series” about The Stewart Brothers: Tanner, Harper, HUNTER, Sawyer, Parker and Reeve. Written by Katy Regnery. This is Hunter and Isabella second chance romance. So after a supernova romantic connection, it quickly burns out. All because Bella has commitment issues. Specifically long distance ones. So they didn’t have a chance until they both for separate reasons end up in the same place at the same time, on a reality TV show called The Astonishing Alaska. The smoldering hot sparks are still there and they both feel them. Will they be able to rekindle what once was? Is there a happily ever after in their future and if so how? I absolutely love everything about Hunter. So far this just might be my favorite Stewart brother. Can’t wait for the other three brother’s stories.

4 Stars for this second chance romance

I loved Hunter and Isabella ... they had strong chemistry that wouldn't just go away. I wasn't in love with the reality TV part ... too many needless details. But I did laugh at the shenanigans and the banter is very realistic. I loved Isabella's cousin Beto ... I think he needs a book somewhere along the way. I love all the Stewart siblings and can't wait for Sawyer's story next!

Hunter and Isabella had a hot fling last summer when Isabella came to visit her best friend McKenna. Hunter was wiling to continue with a long distance relationship, but Isabella was dead set against it. When Hunter hears that Isabella will be in Alaska this summer for a reality TV show, he has no problem getting on the production crew ... he wants a better answer from Isabella than just "no".

Hunter never expected to fall for Isabella, the best friend of his sister-in-law, but he did fall hard and fast. They only had a short time together, but there was chemistry and a quick connection. When she abruptly ended things he was left unsure and upset. Now he has an opportunity to ask her why she broke up with him, but the spark between them is still there.

This was a nice addition to the Stewarts of Skagway series. I liked the dual POV so we could better understand how hard Hunter fell and what Isabella's reasoning was for ending things. Their story moves at a good pace and the second chance romance between them was nicely done. I also liked seeing a number of characters from the series and what they are doing now.

Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.

I admit that the reality show trope is not my favorite. But Hunter and Isabella made me a believer! Maybe because it truly is a second chance romance set in a realty show--it makes it more palata lbe. Or maybe it's just the beautiful setting, wonderful family and hilarious secondary characters!

You have to meet this family and enjoy the ride. Hunter is book 3 but you could easily pick it up as a first read. Some spoilers but You will love meeting the Stewarts.

Isabella and Hunter were meant to be. She fought it for over a year but it was easy to see the chemistry was off the charts. I am so glad they came to there senses and worked out how they could be together. Great addition to the series. Looking forward to more of the siblings getting their HEA's.

Hunter by Katy Regnery, book three in the Stewarts of Skagway series, is a charming, entertaining, humorous, and heartwarming, second-chance romance for Hunter and Bella. Isabella Gonzalez is best friends with Hunter Stewart's sister-in-law. When he picks her up from the airport for a visit, they end up spending a few steamy nights together. When Bella goes back home to Seattle, they try to stay in contact, but she's not a fan of long distance relationships and breaks up with Hunter; terribly and heartbreaking. Isabella turns up in Alaska as a contestant on a reality TV show, a show that Hunter has managed to get a job as part of the crew, and he plans to get some answers. What follows is an entertaining, well written journey filled with antics, family pain, love, life choices and decisions will keep you drawn to the pages.
