Virtual Reality Workshop
The McGill Virtual Reality for Child Care hub is organizing a free VR workshop on Friday, April 26th, 2024 at the Shriners Hospitals for Children-Canada with funding from the RSBO.
The overarching goal of the workshop is to address the barriers, facilitators, and contextual challenges in bringing VR use for pediatric pain and anxiety management across Québec child health settings.
Attendees will benefit from learning about the evidence for VR in pediatric pain and anxiety management, meeting with local and international VR companies, exploring VR products on the market, learning about existing resources, and devising a knowledge mobilization and implementation plan to concretely outline next steps for VR use at their own institution.
Participants may register for the full day (9:00am to 3:00pm) or come visit the VR booths and view the posters from (9:00am-9:30am and 11:00am-12:00pm).
We hope to see you there!
