This was not only my first menage book but also my first book by Lexi Blake/Sophie Oak, and I am hooked! I know want to go back and read ALLLL of the books from the first series so that I can have more context when they were referenced here. This can definitely be read as a standalone, but I think you would understand a little more if you read the other books first. It doesn't affect the story at all though. Anywho this has cowboys, some suspense, they fall first, found family. There are mentions of domestic violence off page so I recommend checking the trigger warnings before diving in!

Josh & Grim are looking for more in their life. They have their jobs and their family, but they want a woman who can handle their lifestyle. The lifestyle of a sub in a menage that is. They have had their fun working through the town and making sure their partners have enjoyed themselves but they want what their parents have which is forever. That is when they meet Nicole. The elusive new server at the diner. The server who is definitely hiding something. The server who also doesn't seem to back down from things. This is who they set their sights on. Josh will go in with the swag and charm while Grim will do the sweet talking. They will figure out what is going on in her life and help her through it. She seems open to trying their lifestyle. They will be able to talk her in to staying and settling down with them...or so they think.

What they don't know is that as much as she wants something long term she is only thinking through the next week or so while her car is fixed. She is thinking this time she has with Josh and Grim is great short term. She is on her way to Mexico hiding from her past that seems to be catching up to her. Though she can't seem to stop thinking about what if. What if she stayed in Willow Fork? What if she decided to do something more with Josh and Grim? What if she laid roots here? But then her past collides with the present and now she has to hope that everything Josh and Grim have told her is true. Will they help her through or leave her like everyone else has?

I liked the pace of this book. The buildup seemed realistic. The chemistry between all of the characters was great. I didn't know what to expect between Josh and Grim but liked that. I liked the character development of not only Nicoel but Grim. Both of them have never felt truly wanted. Grim has just been too stubborn to acknowledge that he is a Barnes-Fleetwood but Nicole helps him see that. She stands up for him like no one else has. I liked all the side characters we got to meet. I found myself wondering who the next book would be about and how many of them would there be? I am thinking book 2 will be about their sister but who knows. Now I am going to start back at the beginning and read about how Barnes and Fleetwood became the name that it is. I recommend this if you are looking for a pretty fast paced book with some hot steam unlike anything I have read before!

I really wish this book was advertised as it being third person POV as my decision to sign up for the ARC may have been different.
I struggle with third person point of view, which might’ve possibly been part of the reason why I couldn’t enjoy this book as much as I wanted to.
This book is advertised as a standalone, but there were so many characters and so many names pushed onto the reader, it was nearly impossible to remember, who was who at times.
I love the premise of the story.
I love why choose and polyamorous relationships but this was a bit too Insta love for me.
The spice was just OK. It was nothing exciting which really bummed me out because when I hear there is a MFM relationship, I want the good stuff!

Josh and Grim are step-brothers and self proclaimed Doms. They grew up in the BDSM lifestyle.
They want to find a female submissive to be theirs. Forever.
And that’s when they spot a new waitress in town who’s holding back a lot of secrets. She is on the run from something however, they are way too excited to get her in bed and immediately request that she be there submissive within days of knowing her.
Nicole, who understandably has major trust issues with men literally takes two grown men into her hotel room and has relations with them without even knowing exactly who they are.
It was a little awkward to read because everything was moving way too fast for my taste.
After about the 70% Mark, I did skim through because there’s just a lot of dialogue and not a whole lot that goes on. I found more action and the conclusion to the whole plot satisfying. Overall, I liked the story but wouldn’t exactly continue the series.
I appreciate the ARC and reading a new to me author.

My Rating: ❤️❤️❤️❤️.5

Reading Order: Some characters from prior books make cameos (though now it's years down the line from their books). You can read in any order. This was my jumping in place.

General Thoughts: I have read quite a few Lexi Blake books now, and I've really enjoyed almost all of them! Like I mentioned above, I haven't read the older generation series. I have only read her contemporary and her Masters and Mercenaries series. There was definitely some crossover.

I loved this one. I enjoyed all of the characters, the writing style, and the romance. Lexi does a great job of creating characters and worlds that suck you in immediately, and this one was no different. I had thought the suspense would be a little heavier, but I liked the blend here all the same.

If you haven't read a Lexi Blake yet, this would be a great starting one. If you have, then this has all her trademark signatures.

Can't wait to read more by her.

Steam Meter: ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 It was definitely steamy. Not the most graphic or prolific, but definitely there and often and B.D SMy/k1nky.

Romantic Tropes

It's been almost fifteen years since I first read about this tiny town in Texas and completely fell in love with an author named Sophie Oak.

Now, as we've returned to the town of Willow Fork, time has moved forward for the Barnes-Fleetwood family and The Accidental Siren is a book that now focuses on the next generation. The babies have all grown up and my, my, my have they grown up good!!

What I loved about this book is that it's a beautiful walk back in time with blasts from the past stirring up huge nostalgia, while the plot continually moves forward with the younger generation. It's a wonderful blend of parents and their now, grown up children, living cohesively within this same world. It gave me all the steam and emotion that I adore with the main throuple, while also giving me the strong familial feelings that I crave while reading a Lexi Blake or Sophie Oak book.

Josh Barnes-Fleetwood is a great combination of his parents. The strong determination of Jack, the easy going smile of Sam, and the loving nature of his mother, Abby.

Grim, his best friend, took like a duck to water with the rules and order, when it came to their lifestyle, but he also thrives under both giving and receiving praise and lots of love.

Nicole had never been in a loving relationship, so having two men shower her with it, on top of a family who adores her brought tears to my eyes.

It never fails how many of Lexi's books I read, I always end up in tears. This new generation is truly something special as it made me cry (I know nothing new), but it also made and laugh, while unearthing all the nostalgic feelings 🥹 I can hardly wait for more.

OMG!! Such an amazing book and Lexi Blake knows how to make the kids of the OG's just that good and how to make the OG's show up and handle things when needed and oh yeah some fun surprises along the way :) It was great to get caught up on what's been happening in Willow Fork, Austin, and Dallas and somewhere else but that one I'm just not going to say because I don't want to spill the tea so you can read for yourself.

Josh Barnes-Fleetwood and Grim are looking for woman and Nicole is running from her past and she's stuck in Willow Fork until her car can be fixed and Josh and Grim have there sights set on her. Both Josh and Grim know somethings not right with Nic and she's probably running from something but they just aren't sure what so they bring in help to find out what, but it backfires because their dads are one step ahead. It just gets crazy to say the least!! Luckily Sam and Abby are there to help calm everyone down :) And there are a few guest appearances of course. This is a Lexi Blake book so of course we have to have some special guest appearances!!

Couldn't put the book down, just awesome! Can't wait for book 2!

This was a completely engrossing read, as I couldn’t wait to see how things came together! There is a lot that ends up going on in the last half of the book, but the, the start is the honeymoon, hearts and flowers, instant attraction, give me two cowboys, fun. Then things are revealed, the story heats up, slows down, and the mystery of it all starts to unravel, as well as easter eggs galore. Loved how our menage established and worked through their relationship. How the people around them who loved and cared for them offered advice, but let them make their own decisions. How are characters find their own way, on their own terms, in their own time, to make their relationship into what works for them <3 p.s.I also loved how some things never change, and am so happy that that is the case 😊

Josh and Grim have particular needs, desires, and they've found the woman they want to explore them with. But Nicole's got a secretive nature, and isn't exactly about opening up, or sticking around for longer than it takes to get her car fixed. She's never been able to rely on anyone but herself, but she just might find a whole family with welcoming arms who will help her even without being asked to. And she might find she fits perfectly into Grim and Josh's life together.

I have yet to read a story by Lexi that doesn't have strong, realistic, and lovable characters, and there's no exception here. Nicole, Grim and Josh are amazing characters who form a loving, lasting trio. I think my favorite part of their story, aside from the 3 themselves, is the found family aspect. Josh's family became Grim's family as soon as they took him in so long ago, knowing he was their son, even if not by blood. Grim may have taken a long time to realize that they loved him as they loved Josh, but his growth and realization was another heartfelt, emotional layer of an already well-drawn story. There are cameos by some of the other beloved characters in Lexi's other series, one of whom is a very big part of helping Nicole. This legacy series starts off strong, and I know ones to follow will present equally amazing stories.

THE ACCIDENTAL SIREN is the first instalment in Lexi Blake’s contemporary, adult TEXAS SIRENS: LEGACY erotic, MFM, BDSM series-a next generation spin off from the author’s TEXAS SIRENS series. This is rancher Joshua Barnes-Fleetwood, veterinarian Jared ‘Grim’ Burch, and Nicole Mason’s story line. Several characters cross over from Lexi Blake’s interconnected series including Texas Sirens, Lawless Series, and the numerous Masters and Mercenaries series and spinoffs. Josh is the son of Jack, Sam and Abby (Small Town Siren 1); Grim is their ‘foster’ son.

Told from three omniscient third person perspectives (Joshua, Grim and Nicole) THE ACCIDENTAL SIREN focuses on the building romance and relationship between rancher Joshua Barnes-Fleetwood, veterinarian Jared ‘Grim’ Burch, and Nicole Mason’ . Nicole Mason is on the run, and working at the local café, she has caught the eye of ‘brothers’ Joshua and Grim but Nicole is only in town for a few weeks, and getting involved with Joshua and Grim means setting down roots when she is unlikely to stay but Nicole’s past refuses to let go, and Grim’s biological family is determined to destroy the town of Willow Fork, Texas. What ensues is the building relationship between Joshua, Grim and Nicole, and the potential fall-out as Nicole’s past goes hunting for our story line heroine.

The world building brings together several characters from the author’s numerous interconnected series including Kim aka Solo (M&M: The Forgotten) as a private investigator seeking out our storyline heroine. The reader is up close and personal with some of Jared ‘Grim’ Burch’s past-how he became a much loved part of the Barnes-Fleetwood family, and of Nicole’s past, a young woman whose abusive ex’s family was taking aim at our story line heroine.

The relationship between Nicole, Joshua and Grim is one of immediate attraction but Nicole’s time in Willow Fork Texas comes with an expiry date, and our heroine is determined to keep moving until she can no longer be found.Joshua and Grim are hoping to claim Nicole as their own but jealousy threatens the threesome, especially when Joshua may have overstepped in his need to protect the woman with whom he is falling in love. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and familiar secondary and supporting characters, most of whom has been previously introduced in the author’s interconnected series including Kim ‘Solo’ Solomon, and Jack, Sam and Abby Barnes-Fleetwood. The requisite evil has many faces.

THE ACCIDENTAL SIREN is a story of secrets and lies, power and control, betrayal and vengeance, murder and obsession, family and relationships, acceptance and love. The premise is dramatic, intense and captivating; the romance is seductive and provocative; the characters are determined and dynamic.

Thanks to Lexi and Valentine's PR for the eARC of this book. The Accidental Siren is out on Tuesday, April 30! if you want a fast-pace romantic suspense piece with good spice, I would definitely recommend picking this book up! (It would probably be beneficial if you read her other books to figure out the characters, but it doesn't make a huge difference).

Tropes
🤠menage (MFM)
🏔found family
🤠she's on the run
🏔they fall first
🤠romantic suspense
🏔BDSM

Joshua and Grim, best friends since childhood (even though they were disconnected for a while), love their jobs, their family, but want a woman to complete their...more unique lifestyle. Most have come for a good time, but never stayed, or were trying to see if they could change one of them and throw the other one out. Nicole has been on the run for the last few years, since being a wanted fugitive for murdering your husband is generally frowned upon, even if she didn't do it. When Nicole ends up in Willow Fork...will she stay or will she go?

this is my first Lexi Blake novel, but probably won't be my last. from the get-go, it was a bit hard keeping track of all the characters and their insane family tree (i'm fairly certain given the number of books that lexi has written, these are all published somewhere lol), but once I figured out the groove, i loved the entire barnes-fleetwood crew. i am also a sucker for generational books, so i was so happy to see that the legacies continue from parents to children.

overall, the book was well paced, not too fast or too slow, which really allows you to get to know the characters and plot better. i definitely did not see the random plot twist coming, but it was funny with how much they had mentioned it earlier on in the book. but, i loved seeing nicole's character arc progress as the story went on, going from the shy, keep your head down girl, to being more heartstrong and adamant about boundaries and what she wants. and let's take a moment to appreciate josua and grim. Those two really fell, and fell HARD. I'm not always the biggest fan of BDSM stuff, but it wasn't too bad (compared to some of the dark romances that I read lolz 😋), but i love how protective they were of nicole from the get-go, even so much as going against their family. love love love.

my biggest "problem" with the book was that it was in 3rd pov, but reading like 1st pov since we get the internal dialogues of the characters. i also wish that the chapters were broken up into each character's pov, rather than combining multiple pov's into one chapter. but that's just my own preferences :)

Delicious spiciness, romance & suspense

It was wonderful being back in Willow Fork, Texas for the beginning of Lexi Blake's (a.k.a. Sophie Oak) new series Texas Sirens: Legacy, which focuses on the next generation. THE ACCIDENTAL SIREN is a MFM romantic suspense which made me laugh, shed a tear, and grip the edge of my seat. This was such a riveting read which was fast paced, had deep emotions, plenty of laughs, and delicious spiciness.

Joshua Barnes-Fleetwood and Jared 'Grim' Burch have been the best of friends since childhood. They've done everything together, but lately something's been missing ... a woman who could make their life complete. Nicole Mason is on the run. A fugitive for allegedly killing her abusive husband. She's only in Willow Fork while waiting for her car to be repaired. From the moment Josh and Grim set eyes on Nicole they know she is their woman, the one they've been waiting for, but will they be able to convince her of their plans? Will Nicole stay and find the love she has always desired, or will she leave?

The instant chemistry and attraction between Josh, Grim and Nicole was palpable. I loved how quickly Josh and Grim became possessive and protective of Nicole, it came naturally to them since they were both Doms. Even though Nicole had never been in the lifestyle the men were a part of, her reactions with them were beautifully submissive. Just when everything appears to be going favourably for this amazing trio, Nicole's past comes back to haunt them all. Will they lose everything they've built together?

THE ACCIDENTAL SIREN was a wonderful read, and everything I've come to expect from a "Siren" story: close friendships, scintilating spice, interfering parents, revelations, and a touch of suspense. I enjoyed catching up with characters from the original Texas Sirens and Masters and Mercenaries series. I can't wait for more from this brand new series, especially if they are all going to be as addictive as this story was.

A highly recommended read.

The Accidental Siren is a rather adorable ménage BSDM romance with a suspense storyline.

Josh and his best friend and foster brother, Grim, are happy in their small-town lives but ready to settle down and are looking for a lucky lady who would complete them. When waitress Nicole comes to town there is an instant attraction between the three and it's not long before they spend the night together and become a thruple, despite Nicole insisting she is leaving town imminently.

This is one of the sweetest, most caring BDSM books I think I've read; Josh and Grim are both Doms but even during a scene they are so loving to their Sub Nic. They also have a wonderful dynamic between the two guys - there's no sexual contact between Josh and Grim but they both acknowledge that they need each other and are a critical part of a happy relationship.

The Accidental Siren was my first Lexi Blake/Sophie Oak book, and won't be my last, but it is a second-generation story. I've had the very first book (Small Town Siren) on my tbr for a long time which tells the story of Josh/Grim's parents. In the Accidental Siren we see a lot of the parents and their relationship, as well as family members and friends who are all in the BSDM and ménage lifestyle/community. The book can be read as a standalone but there were quite a few minor characters I was a little confused about so for maximum enjoyment I'm sure reading the earlier books would be a bonus.

Instalove is not normally a favourite of mine but this was too darned lovely to resist. Josh and Grim were just the right amount of adorably possessive, sweet, demanding, thoughtful, invasive, caring, pushy and loveable. Nic stood up to bullies, was kind to everyone, really had her head screwed on and was totally capable of saving herself. I enjoyed every minute of it!

Thank you to Lexi Blake and Valentine PR for the ARC, this is my honest opinion.

It’s been years since Lexi Blake has taken readers to Willow Fork, Texas, and I am so glad to be back! This book ushers readers into the next generation of the Texas Sirens world while paying homage to the original trio of Jack, Sam and Abby as well as gifting readers surprise cameos of other favorite characters from the larger M&M universe.

There is so much to this story . . . Joshua Barnes-Fleetwood is the prince of Willow Fork. He’s worked hard, but has never had to struggle and has always had a loving and supportive, if non-conventional, family. Jared “Grim” Burch was adopted into the Barnes-Fleetwood when he needed them most, but has always struggled with his past and a true feeling of belonging in every way . . . always waiting for the other shoe to drop. And, Nicole Mason, a desperate woman on the run who has never had the love or support she deserves and is just trying to survive one day at a time. An unlikely trio, but one so perfect that they will finally all gain the sense of rightness and belonging they had all been missing. Watching this throuple learn to communicate and work together as they fall for one another is simply magical! It was amazing to catch up with the original Barnes-Fleetwood trio as well and watching them still be themselves as they also parent their adult children.

The suspense while the romance ensues is thrilling. Get ready for some unexpected visitors to Willow Fork as all of this drama plays out! It was really epic as Lexi Blake did such an amazing job of making all of these smaller worlds come together in her larger universe. We’ve also been teased with future stories for Olivia Barnes-Fleetwood as well as Harlow Dawson (I want her story now!).

The Accidental Siren was perfection and I could not be happier that Josh, Grim and Nicole found their happily ever after! 5 stars!

Accidental Siren is a next book in Lexi Blake’s Texas Sirens series. If you saw my interview her a few weeks ago, you know her Texas Sirens series is my Roman Empire. I do think about it everyday and I basically yell at everyone that loves MMF, MFM, cowboys, small town and BDSM to read this series. When I started Accidental Siren, I went in with high exceptions and from the Acknowledgments Lexi Blake had me hooked and in tears. Accidental Siren is a perfect addition to the Texas Sirens world, full of steam, suspense and characters that I love.

In Accidental Siren, we are back in Willow Fork Texas with Josh Barnes- Fleetwood (son of OG Sirens Jack, Sam and Abby, their books Small Town Siren and Siren in the City are 🔥), Jared “Grim”Burch and Nicole Mason. Grim has been adopted into the Fleetwood-Barnes family when his uber religious stepdad kicks him out. Grim and Josh fall for waitress “I might be on the run from someone bad” Nicole and are determined to keep her in Willow Fork. There is drama, BDSM steaminess and hidden identity, and it of course, ends in an HEA.

Accidental Siren is everything I want in a Lexi Blake menage- super sexy BDSM, meddling friends or parents (Hi Jack), character reveals that left me gasping 👀, cameos from old friends (Hi, Ben and Chase, Case and Mia) and teasers for future books that have me screaming “take MY MONEY.” There are crossovers from the Masters and Mercenaries kids -I wont give any spoilers but I kicked my feet with glee and I have theories! I can’t wait for more in the Texas Sirens Legacy!

“You think my daddy could be ruthless, you haven’t met me yet. I’m Jack Barnes with a deep sense of privilege. I’m Sam Fleetwood, who knows no one’s sending me to jail.”

I received an ARC from Valentine PR and this is my honest review.

This is my first Lexi Blake/Sophie Oak book.

I am a mood reader through and through, so I feel like my rating and review of this was based on that fact… I finished a super good book and knew I needed to read this next, so I wasn’t ready to jump into it, but had to… if that makes sense?

I will say that this book is written in 3rd person, which is not my favorite. The “pov” seems to jump from character to character throughout the entire book and sometimes I was confused on which character was thinking/speaking.

It was an incredibly slow start for me - the prologue and the first chapter had my attention, but then it lost it until the 50%ish mark… then it fizzled out again around the 60% mark. The chapters for me were incredibly long (between 18-33 minutes a piece), which is fine, but my attention span can’t follow for that amount of time. Once I got towards the end, I felt like I could just skim the remaining book. It was slightly predictable from the beginning.

That’s a lot of negative to say - I really loved the characters in this. Josh and Grim and Nicole are really fun characters that you get to watch learn about themselves and each other. Was I prepared for everyone in the book to have a relationship style other than MF… no? did i mind it? also no!

This would be an exceptional read for people who enjoy romantic thrillers, found family, and BDSM/kink/sex club vibes!

Overall, I probably wouldn’t pick this up again, but if it piques your interest, definitely give it a try! 🤗

The start of a new series from Lexi Blake writing as Sophie Oak, set in the small Texan town of Willow Fork where rancher Joshua is searching for that special woman who would be willing to share her life not only with him but also his ‘adopted’ brother Jared aka Grim and he thinks he’s found her in Nicole, a new waitress in town. But Nicole is a woman with secrets in her eyes and a past that makes it impossible for her to ever consider settling down in one place no matter how much she would love to.

I loved the steady pace of Sophie’s writing in The Accidental Siren. Nothing about the plot felt rushed and it allowed for both the plot and the relationship between Nicole and her men to develop gradually. I would’ve perhaps liked more background to Nicole especially when it came to her own family as at times it appeared her life had begun when she ran. The steam factor between her and her men was sizzling, and I loved how protective she was of Grim who hadn’t had the best life until he was taken in by Josh’s family. The plot itself was a familiar one and I had guessed the twist, but it was well written, and I loved the subplots involving Grim’s stepfather which threw another suspect to watch into the mix. One of the high points of this book was all the little details bringing characters from other series in and I enjoyed how it wasn’t just as filler or from dramatic effect, they all brought something to the overall story.

Loved this story!! This is my first Lexi Blake story and when i received the arc and realized what it was about, I was a little nervous about it. But it was a pleasant surprise and really well written in my opinion.

The relationships between these characters, while unconventional, was done in a sweet, protective, family first, kind of way.

While running from her past, and a bad situation, Nicole finds herself in a small town and catches the eyes of Grim and Josh. She feels a connections and wants to get to know them, but is her past too much to handle?

Grim is a veterinarian who finds a family with his neighbors and best friend when he finally runs away from his hostile home environment at 16 and finds the loving and caring family he had always wanted.

Josh, is learning to be the leader in his family and follow in his fathers footsteps, while also realizing he wants to find a nice girl for him and Grim to settle down with, when he meets Nicole and feels like she may be the one. But he feels she is in trouble and will do anything to help her feel safe and fix her past, and hopes that she wants to stay with them.

“but I think you’ll find it’s freeing once you embrace the idea there’s no shame in loving someone the way they need to be loved, in allowing yourself to be loved the way you need to be.”

“Not that I don’t believe the Lord can work miracles. But I think he also expects us to be sensible enough to use the tools we’ve been given.”

I voluntarily reviewed "THE ACCIDENTAL SIREN" I thoroughly enjoyed this story full of intrigue, a little suspense, steam, menage romance, hidden identity, humor, emotional turmoil, twists that kept you turning the look pages with great characters that pull you into drama.
Josh Barnes-Fleetwood & Grim are wanting a women to extend their relationship to a trio, Nicole arrives in Willow Fork her car needs fixing, when they see her they want her not knowing shes running from her past, they know something's off with her, they want to get someone to help find out what.
Josh & Grim's dads know there's a problem & step in to find out what it is, with Sam & Abby there to get everyone to relax Nicole the new server at the diner is definitely hiding something.
Nicole is up to trying the menage relationship with Josh & Grim they want her to stay & be with them but she's only waiting for her car to be fixed & she's gone but when her past comes back to haunt her what will she do.
I definitely recommend to get this delicious story Nicole, Josh & Grim take you on quite the journey to see if they get their HEA, all the extra characters really are great, it's a must read you don't want to miss.
I can't wait to read next the book in this series so many interesting characters to write about.
EXCELLENT INTERESTING MYSTERIOUS MENAGE ROMANCE I LOVED IT 🖤 🖤 🖤 🖤 🖤

This may be my first visit to Willow Fork, Texas but it certainly won’t be my last because this small town and its residents took over my life. I’m excited to see where Lexi Blake is going to take us with her new Texas Sirens: Legacy Series. The Accidental Siren is book one and it’s Joshua Barnes-Fleetwood, Jared “Grim” Burch and Nicole Mason’s journey and if this book is anything to go by Ms Blake will certainly have another hit series on her hands.
The relationship between these characters may be unconventional but that doesn’t mean they don’t all love each other, in fact this is a romance about soulmates in the true sense of the word and once you add in the suspense you get a fantastic read.
Nicole finds herself in Willow Fork when she is looking for a fresh start and that’s where she meets Grim and Joshua who give her the security, the friendship and love she is looking for. But will she take a leap of faith and trust these two with the secrets she has tried so hard to bury……
I was captivated from the first line to the last word, I fell hard and fast for the characters and I loved their journey. The chemistry is sizzling, the story is well written and I found myself falling in love with another smalltown that feels like home. Can’t wait for book two.

The Accidental Siren, Texas Sirens: Legacy, Book one takes on an exciting adventure with a second generation of characters that you are going to love and combine that with so many cameos and tie ins to previous series, you are going to be pulled in right from the start. So, hang on because this is a bumpy ride filled with suspense, intrigue and steamy moments as Josh, Grim and Nicole quickly find themselves in an intense relationship that rocks the small town of Willow Fork, TX just like the first generation did.
All three main characters have their own unique pasts with Jared Burch coming from an abusive family and religious cult. Nora Holloway was in an abusive marriage and was set up for the murder of her husband. She has been on the run for years and now goes by the name of Nicole. Joshua Barnes-Fleetwood was raised by two loving fathers and a loving mother. Their unorthodox relationship has rubbed off on Joshua and he is searching for the same thing with Jared (Grim), his lifelong best friend. When Nicole stumbled into this small town she never expected to find the love of two men but she was also blessed with acceptance from the community and the love of a family she never experienced before in her life.

This book is addictive with a storyline with a pair of sexy men looking for the right woman to complete them, more than a little sizzle and a dash of suspense.

This was my first book by the author in the Texas Sirens world, but it can definitely be read as a standalone. I’ve read a few books by the author in her Masters and Mercenaries series and these worlds have some carryover - friends and associates. I loved how Josh and Grim/Jared are so close as best friends and have strong family ties.

Nicole/Nora was a surprise. For a character with such a traumatic past who is on the run, she’s more outspoken and confident than I would have expected - and I loved that she had some sass and backbone. She fit perfectly with Josh & Grim, and with the Barnes-Fleetwood family.

When the story got to 70% I felt like the book might be wrapping up, but oh no, the author instead kicked the storyline into a higher gear and ramped up the suspense. I was happily glued to my kindle to the very last word and wanting even more. The last 30% of this story was fantastic and I’m eager to see what comes in the next release in this series!

I received a free ARC from the author and Valentine PR; and I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased review.

OMG!!! Can a naughty book be a sweet romance story? Why yes! Yes it can and this book is proof. Proof that a trio can work in many ways, emotional, mental and physical ways. This story is a spin off of sorts to the Masters and Mercenaries Series. As the Taggert family makes many appearances in this book.

This book has a strong character line up and they are tough as nails. Overprotective, loving, loyal and bonded unlike any other family you have ever met. Nicole is lucky to have a run in with such a protective and caring group of people. She is a very strong character. Nic and Grim have truly experienced the terrible ways of those who were suppose to love them. They both come out damaged but with the strength of ten thousand men. It makes their story that much more inspiring.

This book has triggers to be wary of such as BDSM scenes, attempted kidnapping, mental and physical abuse. These warnings are what made this book so great. The author took her time creating a story of strength and perseverance unlike any other. Her writing is wonderful and you can't help but fall in love with her stories and their characters. I am excited to read more.

Sometimes you just need two cowboys to rail you 👀✨🤤.

This was a very wonderful story. I loved the prologue - I think is was the perfect scene to start this book - I adored Grim since the beginning (I think I'm crushing on him 🤣).

Sometimes you might think because a book is about BDSM life you won't find sweetly caring moments... Well this book is part of those exceptions. Josh and Grim are just SOOOO lovely I thought I was melting inside.

It's not a secret I love why choose books - I always find their dynamic very interesting - Nic, Josh and Grim are perfect PERFECT for each other. Josh and Grim were supporting Nic since the beginning even if they suspected she was hiding something.

And Josh/Grim family????? loved.every.single.one.of.them🫶🏾✨.Wish all families were as supportive as the Barnes-Fleetwood family - the world will be a better place.

I can't believe I never read a Lexi Blake book before - like unbelievable 😭.
The accidental siren has everything - romance, funny moments, good smut, suspense and most importantly a very wonderful story development.

Thank youuuuu to Valentine PR and Lexi Blake for this wonderful eArc.

I love Lexi Blake/Sophie Oak's next generation books. They are the perfect marriage of old and new. You get to.meet the sons and daughters of old favorites while reconnecting with said favorites. I see lots of happy reading ahead with all of the next generation characters Ms. Blake introduced in this book; some from Bliss, some from Texas Sirens and even some from M & M Topped. Don't know how it can get much better.

Acciddental Siren takes us back to the small minded town of Willow Fork where some things have changed fir the better but not everything. At its heart Accidental Siren is a menage romance between Josh Barnes-Fleetwood (son of Jack, Abby & Sam) Jared "Grim" Burch (adopted Barnes-Fleetwood son) and Nicole Mason; a new girl in town with big secrets. There is lots of spicy sizzle, suspense, danger, emotional highs and lows and enough humorous moments sprinkled throughout to keep you smiling. I really liked this trio and although they had their missteps the outcome of an HEA was never in doubt.

This was such a interesting read. It was my first MFM and I enjoyed it. All the characters were so loving and took such good care of each other.
Even from the prologue it was shown how much everyone felt. The found family aspect was perfect. Josh and Grim were the best of buds and so protective of their lady but Nicole stood her ground and didn't let anyone walk over here. This was such a fun read and I can't wait to pick up more by this author.

I will say that my initial expectations for this book were way off. I went into this book blind, which I don't do too often, and did not even read the blurb for it. From the title, I made the assumption this would be a love triangle love trope. BOY WAS I WRONG. I did not have to worry about picking the right guy at the end because she gets them both. This was a very interesting read because I know there are really some small towns out there that really spend their daily lives spreading evil through religion like some of the people from Willow Fork. I was rolling my eyes with Josh with the outlandish crap they would come up with against their family. While I was not expecting a throuple, I still enjoyed the story and the characters together. Josh and Grim were exactly what Nicole needed in her life after so much hatred. Nicole's story was honestly so intriguing and made the story so much better for me! I loved how she grew into her strength instead of letting fear win.

Thank you so much Lexi and Valentine PR for this ARC!!

5 Star review of The Accidental Siren (Texas Sirens: Legacy #1) by Lexi Blake

It was wonderful being in Willow Fork, Texas. This time we have Joshua Barnes-Fleetwood Jared “Grim” Burch and Nicole Mason’ story and what a story it was. If this book is anything to go by then Lexi Blake has yet another winning series on her hands.

This was a fast paced, action filled story with a lot going on. From the first paragraph I was engrossed in the story that Ms. Blake wove and had trouble putting it down when work got in the way.

The suspense element adds an additional layer to the story as Nicole continues to hide the secrets that she is running from. However, our heroes will not accept anything but the truth, they know she is the one for them and they will do whatever it takes to keep her safe and build a future together.

From start to finish I was invested in The Accidental Siren and cannot wait to see what is next in the Legacy series.

*Smalltown
*Traumatic Past

I couldn't put this down. Nicole had a traumatic past and was trying to just keep moving and blend in so no one could figure out what she was running from. She didn't expect to run into 2 best friends and fall in love with them. She said from the start it was temporary but Josh and Grim didn't want temporary with her they wanted everything with her cause she was their missing piece. I loved how Nicole didn't have a care in the world what the people of the town thought about her and about her being with both Josh and Grim. I love how the longer she was with them she was coming out of her shell that she had been in for years. I loved how the guys knew something had happened to her and knew that it wouldn't come between them and her. When Josh looked at her and asked did she do it and she said no that was all it took for him to know he would do anything to keep her with them and safe.

This is an amazing book and I love how Lexi included the "Old Generation" into the new kids series. It's good to follow up on the OG's and I love bringing back all the Taggarts, and the extended families, who of course
show up and handle things when needed. It was a wonderful chance to get caught up on what's been happening in Willow Fork, Austin, and Dallas.

I loved both Josh Barnes-Fleetwood and Grim they're awesome after meeting Nicole and realizing she is running from her past. She's stuck in Willow Fork until her car can be fixed. Looking for woman to share
Josh and Grim have their sights set on her knowing somethings not right with Nic and she's probably running from something but they bring in help to find out what, but it backfires when their parents are one step ahead. I love how crazy it gets when the Taggarts and others get involved!

I just couldn't put this book down, now i can't wait for book 2!

If you like to read about BDSM-positive couples and enjoy hearing about multiple MMF couples (only one couple focused on in this story) then you will love The Accidental Siren! Lexi Blake did amazing with this story and really captured the idea that even if you have past trauma that would normally affect how you respond to sexual acts, you can be comfortable trying new and possibly triggering things with the right person or people. Nicole, Grim, and Josh come from drastically different backgrounds but find their home with each other. This was my first BDSM read and Lexi wrote it in such a way that it was like I was mentally experiencing all of Nicole's firsts with her. The dynamic of the Dom/sub roles with these three had me expecting Josh and Grim to be a couple as well as including Nicole, but they ended up only having Nicole together rather than each other as well (MFM, maybe?). I can't wait to see what story comes next in the Texas Sirens Series!
