The panel will discuss common legal issues and risks that arise when reviewing marketing content, and share some best practices around limiting IP and personal rights infringement claims. There will be a focus on how to evaluate risks and when to consider obtaining formal clearances for music, photos, videos, and other common areas of concern (and when not to ask!) that arise when reviewing new advertising collateral and content. Learn how other practitioners approach clearing content, and hear some risk mitigation tips and along with traps for the unwary in-house counsel that supports the marketing team in their efforts.
