Booka Shade have announced that their new album, Link To The Invisible, will be released on Blaufield Music on 7 June, following on from the duo’s 20th anniversary celebrations last year.
The 12-track album is Arno Kammermeier and Walter Merziger eleventh long player, and is a timely snapshot of their current melodic-driven sound.
“After more than twenty years of Booka Shade, we’re still wondering if we can still do what we love so much and have fresh ideas for new music,” the duo commented.
“It is always difficult to explain where the inspiration comes from, but when it hits us, we definitely feel the ‘link to the invisible’.”
Recently, the duo has released several two-track projects through their label, Blaufield Music, setting the stage for their upcoming studio album. Recent singles from the album include opening tracks Moonbow and Wild Life, along with The Sun featuring Gab Rhome.
As well as their stellar live performances over the years, which have included appearances at Coachella, Glastonbury, Red Rocks, Montreux Jazz Festival and other locations around the globe, the pair have also picked up a Grammy nomination along the way, for their album Dear Future Self.
Link To The Invisible by Booka Shade is set to release on June 7th, 2024, via Blaufield Music and can be pre-ordered here.
