Lincoln, NE – The Nebraska Section PGA has announced a new partnership with Wilson Sporting Goods ahead of the 2024 season. The new partnership will be an effort to recognize Nebraska PGA Professionals going above and beyond in both growing the game of golf and furthering their own education through the PGA Lifelong Learning model.
The mission statement of Wilson Sporting Goods Co. is to ignite the true potential in every athlete, and no one does it better than PGA Professionals when it comes to growing the game of golf.
Wilson Sporting Goods Co. will be the Title Sponsor of the Nebraska PGA Monthly Game Ball. These custom game balls will be presented to one Nebraska PGA Member each month for their contributions to ignite their true passion into growing the game at the grass roots level.
In addition to the Wilson Sporting Goods Monthly Game Balls, Nebraska PGA Members who have furthered their career and education through the PGA Lifelong Learning model will receive a customized Louisville Slugger bat.
Since 1884, Louisville Slugger has been synonymous with America’s pastime and the trusted bat for baseball players who have created life changing moments for their career at the plate. The partnership will bring that same mindset to the golf course for our Nebraska PGA Professionals that are “slugging” their way through the PGA Lifelong Learning model.
Nominations for the Wilson Sporting Goods Monthly Game Balls will begin on the 1st of each month and will close at 11:59 PM on the 15th of each month. Each winner will get a shout out on all our social media channels and in the monthly newsletter. The Nebraska PGA Professionals that complete the PGA Lifelong Learning model will be highlighted with the Louisville Slugger presentation at our Spring and Fall Nebraska PGA Annual Meetings.

The Nebraska Section PGA encompasses the entire State of Nebraska, western fifth of Iowa and a small portion of South Dakota including Dakota Dunes and Yankton. The Section office is located in Lincoln, NE and acts as a resource for local and national golf information for the golf professional and amateur player alike. Our members are often referred to as “Club Professionals”, not to be mistaken as PGA Tour Professionals.
