The Board will now make a motion to go into closed meeting on April 11, 2024 to: 1) discuss personnel matters pursuant to Section 2.2-3711(A)(1); 2) discuss disciplinary and other matters concerning one or more students pursuant to Section 2.2-3711(A)(2) of the Code of Virginia; 3) consult with legal counsel regarding matters requiring the provision of legal advice by such counsel pursuant to Section 2.2-3711 (A)(7) and (A) (8) of the Code of Virginia, specifically a) personnel matters, b) student discipline matters, and c) a pending student matter; and 4) to dispense with the attendance of the Superintendent or her designee pursuant to Va. Code Sections 22.1-69 and 22.1-313(E), during a portion of the meeting.
