Children 12 and under are invited to hunt for thousands of stuffed eggs hidden in the shadow of the Marquis de Morès' abattoir. Hunters are separated by age, but this is flexible on a family-by-family basis. The hunts take place at Chimney Park in Medora at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Choose the hunt that best fits your schedule.

Harry Roberts began the Chateau Easter Egg Hunt in 1942. Residents of Medora boiled and painted their own eggs, and Harry hid them at the Chateau for the children to find on Easter. In Harry’s devoted and fun-loving spirit, we continue the hunt in 2023 for the 81st Annual Harry Roberts Memorial Easter Egg Hunt!

The event is free and open to all. Please register each person in your party.

Present your ticket at the check-in table, then remain in your family unit at your designated area.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Family-unit social distancing strongly encouraged.
Hidden in some of the eggs are prize-winning golden tickets. If you find a golden ticket, present it to a staff person to claim your special prize!
