Holiday season always begins with Diwali through Christmas and New Years in our Prashar household.  I imagine many listeners have similar stories. The incredible Dr. Vibhav Bansal, Neuro-Intervention Medical Director, Javon Bea Hospital, in Rockford, IL, joins Atul to discuss Neurodegenerative diseases, and in particular, ALS, which affects nerve cells in the brain & spinal cord. There is no cure for ALS yet, an unforgiving illness, impacting all patients differently.  I wouldn’t wish this to happen to any loved one, but it happened to my dear Mom, whom we lost in August of this year.  This episode is meant to drive awareness around ALS, an understanding of it, how we can support, and a celebration of my dear Mom.

"Let's not get canceled' was the theme for part 1 of the Cancel Culture episode. If you know Atul this was like asking Kanye not to screenshot a text, it was bound to happen. We had fun, walked close to the edge but felt this was an important subject for the Whiskey Hue audience. We also feature a special whiskey, brought to us by Anthony Scaramucci, yes, the Mooch. He launched a lot of 140 bottles of rare whiskey decorated with a portrait of Scaramucci's face designed by French digital artist 8th Project.
