5447 - Aviation Supervisor- (M/F)


Heading is recruiting for its client, an Oil and Gas Company, a - Aviation Supervisor  (M/F) to work in Cabo Delgado   



Main responsibilities:

- Always adhere to the values and principles of the Company Code of Conduct.

- Be conversant/comply with Mozambique Legislation, Company Rules, Procedures, and Instructions; ensure full compliance with SOX standards with respect to system security and reporting.

- Promotes and supervises the necessary preventive and corrections action plans to ensure safety of personnel, the protection of the environment and integrity of equipment in his domain of activities in line with international, national regulations and HSE requirements.

- Promotes safe and responsible work culture and an injury-free work environment; promptly reports all unsafe conditions (anomalies) related to the aviation operations and passenger transit.

- Drafts the daily flight program, approves it by the site(s) and issues the revisions when required; proposes improvements to flight programs to optimize aircraft utilization (7 days operations Fixed and Rotary Wigns ralling planning).

- Consolidate day-to-day booking requests from requestors and prepare corresponding Da Vinci manifesting (PAX and freights).

- Creation, modifications of ad-hoc legs in Da Vinci when required by increased activity.

- Coordinates passenger check-in process with concerned air operators’ representatives, ground services (Da Vinci process, manifesting of PAX and cargo, boarding passes provisions and troubleshooting);

- Keeps abreast of all operational changes to timely coordinate amendments to the daily flight program; follows up on flights progress and reports it to his/her hierarchy; verifies, consolidates, and ensures timely distribution of all passengers and freights manifests.

- Based on the provided data from the air operator keeps up to date the KPIs data base (focal point for the air operators’s reporting).


Accountabilities

- Ensure Aviation operations are performed as per planned schedule.

- Ensure Aviation operations at site are performed as per Company Rules and specification as directed by Avistion Advisor

- Ensure Coordination of aviation activities at Site(s) level adhering optimisatioion the the aircrafts applications.- Carry out any other activities as may be assigned by Site / Management.


- Whenever required, contribute into the operational proceesdure developments, applications, and improvements.

- Keep updated daily and a weekly reporting.

- When required, implement database for the monitoring of all licenses, certificates and training required for air operator’s personnel.

- Assesses and provides a clear picture of the situation in the sector of his activity in terms of aviation contractors’ personnel, documents review (procedures, certificates, maintenance records, training documentation, etc.) and aviation means efficiency utilization / application.

- The focus will be to ensure delivery of a key support service to the Mozambique activities promoting the most safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions and practices.

- Promote a positive approach and safety culture with all personnel and encourage reporting of any unsafe acts and behaviours.


Qualifications/Experience required:

- Has a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas Upstream Industry and/or Aviation activities.

- Knowledge of the aviation referential, basic knowledge and aviation standards (IOGP) and ICAO & EASA regulation, IQSMS system

- Knowledge or equivalent; previous experience in air operator operations, capability to produce procedures, manual and studies.

- Proven experience in a multi-cultural context, experience of relationship with air operators, airport services, rigor, sense of organization, ability to anticipate, good command.

- English and Portuguese and advanced MS Office user.
