What is the BounceBack YYC Hackathon?

This is a 4-day virtual event from June 23 to 26 in which post-secondary students and recent graduates engage in creative and collaborative problem-solving with the goal of developing solutions to help restart the Calgary economy.

What does it mean to be a partner?

Becoming a BounceBack YYC Partner is the best way for organizations to get involved and support the experience economy. By supporting our small team, you can make BounceBack YYC much bigger and better than we can on our own. We ask our partners for support in the following ways:

1) Promotion & Awareness - Whether it's through word of mouth, email, or social media, getting the word out grows the initiative and makes something that was impossible today possible tomorrow.

2) Recruitment - We need students to sign up, so if you are connected with any post-secondary students or institutions, you can help us reach more students so we can have a diverse group.

3) Mentorship - We need professionals who are willing to join the Hackathon as mentors to the student teams. If you want to be part of creating the solution, this is the best way to get involved.

4) Solution - If you have a technology and/or service which the 'hacking' teams can leverage in their solution design, this is a great way to support in the development of pragmatic solutions.
