DNF 52%. I am angry. I have read all the other books in this series and liked them, sometimes loved them (Coco and Roman, anyone?). I was waiting for Ivy's and Ty's story. I was rooting for them. I was desperately waiting for their HEA. But now... I leave this series feeling angry and disappointed. Both characters seemed immature and unwilling to go all the way. And can we please stop writing/reading about the H sleeping around while the h doesn't during the time apart? It's getting old and annoying. Thanks.

There will never be a more pathetic heroine than Ivy.

My God! Seriously?! This was a series I loved. 5 best friend who each had their own romance novel and love story and it was completely shattered by this POS book.

This is not a romance and I wouldn’t wish this type of relationship on anyone. This novel was pathetic and disgusting.

Ty, the a-hole POS hero, ghosted his best friend and long term girlfriend suddenly leaving her devastated. He ONLY came back in town for his sisters wedding that our heroine, Ivy was planning because she’s a wedding planner.

This is truly one of most pathetic “romance” novels I’ve ever read in my entire life. I hate both the hero and the heroine and I hope no woman ever makes the choices she made in her life. Wow it was just utterly pathetic.

She’s a loser and basically sold her sole for some random a-hole who never showed her an ounce of love or caring. SMH this is so hard to rate because I have a deep hatred for both the hero and heroine.

Ty left ivy behind and ghosted her. He comes back in town for his sisters wedding. He acts arrogant and am I wrong but he never grovels?!!! What?! Lol really Ivy?! I have 0% respect for you and you’re trash. They’re both trash scum human beings. I despise the hero sooooo much!

But I HATE her just as much.

Hands down one of the worst romance novels I’ve ever read.

The entire book, Ty tells her he’s a rock star and can’t handle a relationship but she willingly accepts his friends with benefits suggestion. They constantly say “I love you” and right after he keeps telling her it’ll never work because he’s some dumb country music star lol

To make matters worse, the end was her giving up her dream as a wedding planner and letting her employee run the business so she could go on the road with Ty.

Ty never sacrificed one thing for her. I read this book with so much anger and eye rolling. This is a disgrace to women everywhere. I’m so disappointed in Laura Pavlov for this.

She took a beautiful series and turned it into a desperate loser heroine who accepted the scraps of affection this loser was willing to give to her (when he had the time).

I honestly wish I never read this. This is so sad. This heroine was given the worst life I’ve ever read.

There’s no way any self respecting woman would EVER EVER EVER be in this type of relationship.

I’m so ashamed at the heroine. I hate both Ty & Ivy. She’s so pathetic!!

The way he treated her was straight out of a book titled what not to look for in a man.

So many things were off about this book.

He used her for sex. All they had was a friend with benefits relationship and she just opened her legs willingly without asking for an apology. I’m so ashamed in her. She’s a poor excuse for a heroine. And he’s the WORST hero ever.

The ENTIRE book he used her for sex and at the last minute everything changed …oooo good one Laura Pavlov (eye roll).

When I tell you this one of the absolute worst books I’ve ever read I’m not joking.

Examples of this pathetic loser heroine:

- Her words stung because they were true. What the fuck was I doing? Dreaming and fantasizing about Ivy Baron was one thing… but flirting with her like that was not wise. But I couldn’t seem to stop myself.
- Nope, he can’t stop himself from using her for her body and nothing else.
-
- FaceTimed the girls this morning so they could see us as we boarded the plane. They’d all sent text messages telling me to just go with it. Not to overthink it. I loved Ty, no doubt about it, so I was going to trust that this would all work out. I didn’t know how. I was just going to take a huge leap of faith that everything would be okay.
- It’s not overthinking girl it’s called self respect lol I would beg any friend of mine to at least make him APOLOGIZE?!! My god! What the actual f***!!!!

Ughhh I hate hate hate hate hate Ty & Ivy and this book ruined the entire series for me.

We just read a book about a guy who went off and slept with as many women as he could, used some fake lie excuse as to why he left and she just opened her legs and said welcome home Ty, I’ll let you use me until you leave lmao I can’t!!!!

I can’t!!! The entire time he was leaving to Nashville back to his rock star life (again eye roll). He’s a freaking country music star give me a break. Musicians get married all the time STFU with this nonsense. Her dumb a** accepted this 2 week long sex only relationship like a loser with 0 self respect.

Ivy is trash and ty is scum. F this book so much I hated it!!

This is a sad excuse for a “romance” novel.

If I wanted to hear about a loser, pathetic heroine I could have just called any of my old friends who got with losers.

I read romance for the love. There was absolutely no love here.

I’m angry and resentful that the author ended such an amazing series with the most low life couple on earth.

If you don’t believe me go ahead and read it lol every chapter pissed me off more and more.

The epilogue made me angry as well because now they’re all happy right? Everyone else got a HEA except loser Ivy who let herself get used by the guy who left her without even calling her!!

Worst part: she stayed celebrate for the entire time. This is soooooo unrealistic!!

He slept around sooo much. He screwed anything that could walk. This pathetic heroine stayed celibate!!!

So you expect me to believe a woman in college hasn’t had sex for 5 years? There’s no way that’s even possible. Has the author even been to college?

I wish more than anything Ivy would have slept around as well… like a NORMAL PERSON!!!

No woman on earth would be celibate for 5 years. This was the WORST part of the book.

It really doesn’t get more sad and pathetic than Ivy. She’s trash and he’s a douche bag. I hate them with every ounce of my being. HATE.

Thanks for ruining a perfectly good series Laura Pavlov.

Second chances romances are iffy with me ,but this one,my oh my,I loved it!
This couple was young,23 or so,and normally I don't read a romance when both are the same age as I feel that the male character is not mature enough, but this hero,he was just too amazing.
I loved both characters and felt for them and what caused their initial separation.
I was so happy that they got their well deserved HEA.
Now to the epilogue, not 1 but 2 with the last one 25 years into the future featuring all 5 couples and their offsprings.I loved, loved it!
This was a great way to end a series that I enjoyed.
I am happy to have found this author of these small town romances with such amazing heros and heroines.

5 swoon-filled, second chance stars

I have loved this series, and as much as I am not ready for it to be over, this final book is the one I was waiting for – the long-awaited second-chance romance for Ivy and Ty, and it was everything I was hoping for. Full of emotion, swoon, and an absolutely beautiful romance that was a joy to read, I adored every moment of this story.

Ivy and Ty have been best friends since kindergarten, and started dating in high school. They fell in mad love and were planning a future together when Ty’s life imploded, and he and his family left town, and he stopped all contact with Ivy. It’s now five years later. Ivy has started her own event planning business in her small home town of Willow Springs, and is busily dating, trying to find the love that her friends all have. Ty has become the hottest new star in country music, all of his songs about lost love. They haven’t seen or spoken to each other in five years, but now he’s returning home to Willow Springs for his sister’s wedding – that Ivy just happens to be planning.

It’s the perfect set-up, and over the last few books we’ve seen glimpses of Ivy’s pure animosity towards the boy who broke her heart. She wants absolutely nothing to do with him, but is determined to be professional when they inevitably come face to face. That doesn’t exactly happen, and OMG, I loved their first encounter. It shows that there is still a lot of emotion between the two of them, and I was right on board for what was to come.

Ty left Willow Springs in devastating circumstances. His life has been hard, and he harbours a lot of resentment towards his home town, and the people in it. In fact, if he had his way, he’d never have come back. But he wants to be there for his sister on her special day. And, of course, he wants to see Ivy. He’s never moved on, and from the moment he steps back in town, he is on a mission to barge right on into her life.

Ivy Baron was it for me. Always had been. Always would be.

OMG, I loved this romance so much! Ivy is a feisty one, and her snark is so entertaining. Ty just wants to be near her, and he’ll do whatever he can to make it happen, and his efforts are both inventive and so much fun. Sparks fly when they’re together, and it’s clear that the love they had for each other never went away, and it’s way faster than I expected when they cave into the chemistry and their feelings all come out.

“You’re the only girl I’ve ever loved, Ive.”

It’s a romance-lover’s dream! They are both completely open with each other and don’t hold anything back in rehashing their past, dealing with it functionally and honestly, and they easily and effortlessly slip back into a relationship that is playful, fun, passionate and so romantic. It’s swoony and emotional, and so, so gorgeous, and I was completely swept up in all of the swoony perfection that is the two of them together.

“I’d been in survival mode for so long, Ive, I didn’t even realize that I wasn’t living. But being here with you, it feels like I’m living again.”

But their dreams of what they wanted for the future have changed, and Ty is only in town temporarily. They both know they have an end date on their newly-rediscovered bliss with each other, but they dive in anyway, knowing that heartbreak is coming.

“It’s not wise, but I’m going to give myself this. I’ll deal with the fallout after you leave just like I did before. But at least I’ll have had this time with you.”

It’s such a difficult situation. I could empathise with both of them, and my heart ached at what was inevitably coming, but I love how they followed their hearts so fearlessly regardless. They both go on a bit of a journey as they deal with past hurts and figure out what they want and how they can make it happen, and they do it together functionally, communicating beautifully the whole way through, and I loved watching it all unfold.

I love these characters. Ty is a guy that loves loud, and it’s what makes this book so swoony! He lays his feelings out there over and over again, with epic declarations and big gestures, and it had my heart pounding. And Ivy is bravely there for it, taking it all and giving it right back. These two are so made for each other, bringing out the best in each other, and that’s exactly what I love to read in a romance novel.

As with the other books in the series, Ivy’s best friends are a big part of the story. These five girls are each other’s whole worlds, and the support and love they have for each other is so gorgeous. I loved watching Ty come back into the group, and I loved seeing all of the couples from the previous books all together and happy. There’s also a new bunch of characters introduced as we get to meet Ty’s bandmates, and I absolutely loved them!

There is a bit of drama, but it works well to add intensity to the story, and I ended up reading this book in one sitting, finishing it at 2am in the morning, unable to put it down. There’s a wonderful epilogue which provides gorgeously satisfying closure for the entire series, as we get to see everybody in the future, and I finished this book with a happy heart and a huge smile on my face.

5 stars!

The ending is upon us and I'm so sad over it. I don't want to say goodbye to these characters!

Claimed is the final book in this beautiful series, and I have been waiting for this book since the very first one. These two, Ivy and Ty, called to me. I mean, second chance romance and with musician, that's one of my holy grail trope combos! And Laura did not disappoint. She has such a way to tell stories, I always fall madly deeply with her couples. They are so special and these two *sigh*. I loved them so much. And getting to watch them find their way back to each other and fight for their love!! It was everything.

I'm also really happy with Ty's reason for leaving. Honestly, in second-chance romances, those reasons can be so shitty but not this one. It was heartbreaking and also sweet. I just needed to point that out because many people don't read this trope because the reason can be a deal-breaker for them.

I absolutely adored how much we got to see of all our Willow girls and their men. Their friendships are just so special. I love how they were always there for Ivy helping her see reason when needed, and giving their support always.

Ty had my heart. His past was sad and how it still impacted him so much but going back to Willow Springs allowed him to finally start working on all those issues. And I'm so happy that he did, not just because of Ivy but also his relationship with his brother. They were so sweet together.

I adored his bandmates. They were all so nice and I found myself hoping for them to get their own books. I especially loved Jo and she was a big piece of the story too. I loved her storyline. I did hate Ty's manager for obvious reasons and he causes a bit of drama, especially towards the end. He got what he deserved, though.

As always, Laura wrote a beautiful love story. There are many funny scenes, many sweet moments, moments that will melt your heart, and others that will hurt it. She did an incredible job with this book and this couple. And the way she tied in this series was incredible. Getting to see all the Willows and their families together, all those babies... my heart was happy. Is it too soon to dream about a second-generation series?? I feel like those epilogues could be a hint. I'm hoping they are.

Thank you for giving us this series and this group of girls. They were all special.

This was a little bittersweet, if I’m honest. I loved that Ivy and Ty finally made their way back to each other, but I’m sad that this series is done. But that epilogue made me feel all the happiness for these best friends and their lives together.

Ivy isn’t ready to see the guy who ghosted her and shattered her heart five years ago, but she knows she has no choice. After all, she’s the wedding planner for his sister’s wedding…and he’s coming back to town early to cause chaos. But she doesn’t count on just how much Ty needs her. And still loves her. Even if Ty wants to pretend that he’s not built for forever anymore, he can’t stop his heart from beating for Ivy and only Ivy. The only problem? I mean, beyond two very different lifestyles that could mesh if they were allowed to. Yeah, someone doesn’t want that to happen. And that’s a big problem. A big, dangerous one. Because the hatred someone has for change is going to make everyone quite miserable and could destroy everything that Ivy and Ty have managed to repair so they could hopefully move forward together.

I couldn’t help but love Ivy for her temper and attitude. She wasn’t going to simply take Ty’s throwaway time. Sure, she would make the most of it now, but she wasn’t about to make him her entire world when it seemed that he wasn’t all in on doing the same in return. And Ty managed to make me love him, too. His stupid stunts to gain Ivy’s attention and hopefully her time, his conflicted feelings about what he thought happened before now, and his misguided loyalty all made for an utterly human guy who just needed to learn that maybe he really was the guy he once believed himself to be. And the work he put into mending fences with so many, even if it wasn’t deserve, gave us all a good look at just how big Ty’s heart was.

I loved this series and knew that Ivy would bring all the emotions with her journey to happiness, so even though I know we’re done, I’m not sorry I took this ride at all. These women were friends and sisters who supported each other through it all and they managed to tie themselves to men who were more than willing to do the same. If only we had more of that sometimes in the real world, right?

As much as I loved the idea of this series, I think overall it wasn’t for me. I lost interest in Ty and Ivy because it was hard to connect to their story. The author wrote them in a way where their dialogue felt much older but their action made them feel younger than their actual age. It was hard to take them seriously, mainly because I had an overall feeling that Ty and Ivy were immature young adults pretending to handle adult situations.

The writing was choppy and inconsistent. It’s as if the author found different ways to say the same thing over and over again. Though they had every intention of moving on from the past, I never felt as if they grew from it or even dealt with their issues properly. They kept letting the same insecurities dictate their actions which stunted any maturity or development.

I truly wanted to love this series but with every book I read, it became evident this series was not for me. I couldn’t connect with the characters and their actions made them feel like children rather than thriving adults. I do see why this series can resonate with other readers, because there are moments of sweetness between Ty and Ivy and you have been rooting for them since the beginning of the series. But overall, it wasn’t enough for me to enjoy the book.

4.5star Review Claimed (Willow Springs #5) by Laura Pavlov

Claimed is a second chance at love story for Ty and Ivy. Ty has returned to Willow Springs and his focus is on Ivy and convincing her to give him another chance. However, Ivy is having none of it as she has never recovered from his leaving her.

I loved these two together from the start, separately and together. The last thing she wants or needs is to fall for Ty again. After all they come from two separate worlds and she knows that she cannot fit in with his new lifestyle.

Can Ty and Ivy come to terms with the past and finally decide to take another chance of happiness together?

Claimed was a well paced story with characters who quickly get under your skin. It is a well written, sweet, romantic story with some angst, as well as drama and a little danger as not everyone is happy to see Ty and Ivy come back together.

The epilogue really brought this series to a close for me.

“Any guy who will write love songs about you and tell the world that you are his plus loves all of your best friends is definitely a keeper!”—Brandy after reading Claimed

This was my first book in this series {I know I know} and now I need everyone else’s stories 💕

Ivy & Ty are so stinking cute together. Their love for each other is so deep & genuine. When you find your person it is a beautiful thing and when you lose that person you feel incomplete. That’s how Ivy & Ty have spent their past five years- apart and feeling incomplete.

Once they reconnect, thanks to some catfishing & daily flowers, it’s like everything is right again. Except their lives are leading in completely different directions. So Ty has to work a little to convince Ivy to give it shot (it doesn’t take too much❤️). I love that once they decide to go for it they don’t allow anything or anyone to stop their happiness❤️

Swoon alert:
“So, I have to tell you. I don’t get too nervous anymore about performing. Sometimes I feel like I’m just going through the motions. But in all the years I’ve taken the stage, I’ve searched the audience for one girl. The girl that inspires all of my songs. So yeah, man, I’m fucking nervous because she’s finally here.”—-seriously swooning y’all💕

I can't with my feelings right now! 😭😭😭 It's been almost a year since I started this wonderful series and I've been enthralled with every book and every couple. I can't believe it's over! Ivy Baron was the last single girl of the MAGIC Willows, but she has her history with one of the country artists of the moment: Ty Greene. I met both of them as a couple in “Frayed”, and from that moment I fell in love with them; however Ty leaves never to return, leaving Ivy alone and heartbroken. Five years later, Ty returns to his hometown, now an established country star, to attend his sister's wedding, which Ivy is planning. With that, Ty gets a chance to apologize and explain the reason for his unexpected departure... but Ivy won't make it that easy for him.

I was very curious about the reasons why Ty left and to be honest I had some doubts about his character because we really don't know much about him in 5 years, only that he became famous. But what can I say? I am fascinated with him! We finally know what happened and we can empathize with him although I still think he could have acted differently. Nevertheless, he won my heart! That man is perfect! So devoted to Ivy 😍. His love for her never changed, on the contrary, she was his muse and although at first their agreement is temporary, with more time they spend together and certain circumstances his perspective changes. Ty is one of those men who, once someone caught his interest, he’s always on the lookout for that person, such is the case with little Sebastian. Their scenes together melted my heart!

As for Ivy, I adore her! She may look sweet but she has claws. She is a dreamer, meticulous and an excellent friend. Her heart has always belonged to Ty. Their story is memorable, and although they spent time apart once they reunite, their love and desire to be together is even stronger. They must go through various obstacles, there is tension, anguish, drama but in the end it is all worth it. I can assure you. Another thing that I must emphasize and that made me love these books is the value of friendship: the MAGIC Willows remain together despite time and distance. I definitely recommend every book in this series…and those afterwords! 🤧
Just perfect 💖

4.5 ⭐️ I really loved this book.
Ty and Ivy had such a special relationship. Ty would do anything for her. I’m so happy that they settled things and talked to each other. There were some seriously funny parts- Dr. Pepper as one. Also many spicy ones!!
I’m sad to see this series end, I loved all the extras and to see all the children they had. ARC provided for an honest review

Spanish & English Opinion

🇲🇽 He seguido la serie y me encanta la idea del grupo de amigas, los libros, compartir.
El final me dio nostalgia. Me encanta que hayan tenido HEA y que sigan juntas.

Ivy me gusta cómo personaje.

🇺🇸 I have followed the series from the start. I love their group, their friendship and it’s great that everyone got the HEA.

Ivy was a good character. Ty, well… I accepted him gradually. There was no groveling at all (which I expected) and I also was annoyed by the way their individual sexuality was managed.

I believe that every woman should decide how to live their sexual lives, but it bothered me to no end that it was frequently stated that he had sex with several women, while she remained untouched. And it’s because I felt it was from the need to keep her image in a “pure and untouched way” more than because of character development. 😓

SWEET & FUN-LOVING 2ND CHANCE ROMANCE!

What a perfect ending to a series that I've truly enjoyed reading over the past year! Ever since starting that Frayed (book 1) last year, I've been absolutely dying for Ty & Ivy's story! Each book from this series had something special about it but there was just something about Ty & Ivy's had my heart from the start. Maybe it was that young love that ended heartbreakingly with no closure for either party. I just knew I couldn't wait to dive into their story.

*childhood best friends
*high school sweethearts
*second chance love
*small town romance
*country music star + hometown wedding planner
*the BEST group of best friends you'll find

These two are going to have you laughing so hard at moments, there might have been a few little tears for the heartbreak and you will ultimately be left rooting for their hearts to heal together and never part again. Ty Greene is one of the sweetest heroes and the way he goes after Ivy will have you swooning so fast! I loved how no matter how much this girl loved him, she had no issue calling him out when things were unfair to her. It's just such a sweet and uplifting second chance love story! The fun and laughter between these two give you a glimpse into a true friendship that existed long before the romance did.

Now that I've finished...it's just a little bit bittersweet. Especially that extra epilogue Laura wrote that once you read it...you'll know she wrote it for your soul. Giving you every thing she most likely already knew our souls would need. Just the most absolutely perfect ending! My favorite aspect of this series was the friendship. I come from a really small town where lifelong friendship like theirs was made so in a sense this reminded me of that. But this group of ladies, always having the others backs and truly supportive in the way we all should be. There is no fakeness, jealousy or spitefulness between these friends. They are honest, quirky and kind in the best of ways.

Saying goodbye is always bittersweet. I could live in Willow Spring forever!

Finally getting Ivy and Ty's story makes em so happy and sad. It was all I could have dreamed of but it's over and now they are off living their happily ever after.

I've been with these five girls, the Magic Willows for almost a year. It brought me go Laura Pavlov and I wouldn't change a thing. She's a marvelous writer who brings all the small town love and heart you need.

Ivy and Ty have drifted since their childhood love story. He's become a country musician and she's a wedding planner. When Ivy plans his sister wedding, there's no refusing their worlds colliding once again.

Ty needs closure on many aspects of his life but the key is telling the girl he'll always love why he had to go.

This story is full of second chances and a love, some drama and angst too! Plus we see so many old friends and I couldn't have smiled or grinned harder than I did throughout the book.

Laura you gave everything with this read and I thank you for that. If I could I'd love in Willow Springs forever, as that epilogue shows the magic never dies out!

Wedding Planner and the Country Music Star

This book is everything, and I am sad to see this series end, I love the Willows. But, I know I will be re-reading this series. The author did save the best for last; I knew Ivy and Ty’s second chance would be special, and I was not disappointed.

Due to circumstances Ty and Ivy’s relationship was severed when he up and left without an explanation. Years later she is still angry over this situation, but she is planning his sister’s wedding, and Ty will be returning to town. Can she keep it professional? Will he share the answers she needs to move on?

The epilogue! There are hopes for a future series, please. I am not ready to say goodbye, just goodbye for now.

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

"My heart is yours, always has been, always will be.”⁣

Ty Greene is a country music star. He's back in Willow Springs five years after breaking Ivy's heart. ⁣

Ivy Baron is a wedding planner in Willow Springs, and is currently planning the wedding if her ex boyfriends sister. ⁣

This was such a perfect conclusion to the small town Willow Springs series! I loved Ty and Ivy's second chance! ⁣

Even though it's been five years since they've seen each other, and Ty left Ivy, the connection and love these two have for each other is very strong. They're both living their own lives, wondering if they can make it work again between each other.⁣

Despite Ty's hatred towards his father, the relationship that he grows with his half brother Sebastian is one of the sweetest things! ⁣

I loved the ending and the epilogues and seeing where all the Magic Willow's are with their husband's and children.

This series was a good surprise.
I liked this book, but Coco and Roman are still my favorite couple along with Crew and Maura? (I don't know if that's really her name 😅)

Anyway... I loved their second chance love story... Really enjoyed how Ty made everything right from the moment he came back to Willow Springs.

What I didn't liked? That he have had lots of women in his bed in the 5 years that they were apart, while she hasn't slept with ANYONE besides him!
Double standards at it's finest!

I also hated that second epilogue... One epilogue with that amount of kids and shenanigans were enough... That second epilogue, 25 years later, just to tell what happened to ALL of their kids, that you just heard about in the previous epilogue, was too much to handle and no one really cared or was attached enough to.

But overall it was a great story.
And I enjoyed this series a lot.

“I will always choose you.”

Childhood sweethearts meet again five years later in their small home town. Ty left Ivy with no finality. She went on broken and searching for a happy ending in guys who never compared. And he always looked for her green eyes and auburn hair in every crowd he performed for.

I loved the resolve these lovers found and how they never gave up despite all that happened in between. Their ‘one & only’ connection was proven when neither of them would accept goodbye again.

As the final book in this series, we see a whole lot of the other couples and the future of them as a friends that are family tribe.

Ivy and Ty have known each other their whole lives. Started dating in high school, they thought they had found their forever. Until Ty's life imploded and he ran as far away from Willow Springs as he could get; breaking Ivy's heart in the process. Now five hears later, Ty is a huge county music star and Ivy is running her own event planning business. Ty is coming home for the first time for his older sister's wedding that Ivy is planning. Ivy is determined to avoid Ty at all costs - he is enemy numero uno after all. Ty is determined to apologize to Ivy, explain why he left so they can both get the closure they need.

This was such a bittersweet book. I had been dying to get Ty and Ivy's story but I didn't want the series to end. This entire series has been amazing and is in my all time top series ever. I love it so hard. So finally getting Ty and Ivy was bittersweet.

Ivy is a little sassy spitfire and absolutely adored her. I loved all the sass she gave Ty and didn't really care to speak to him. Didn't care to give him the closure that he needed since he ghosted her five years ago. But Ty wasn't backing down, his antics to be in the same room as Ivy were just as fun. These two ended up being so sweet and tender and spicy galore!! A perfect small town second chance to wrap up this series. And the extended epilogue - *chef's kisses* - bringing the Magic Willows full circle. Great ending.

Love Love Love!!! Finally, Ivy and Ty’s second chance at their happy ever after and my Willow Springs heart is so full. Ivy and Ty, childhood, high school sweethearts with their futures planned out, college, marriage, family, until it wasn’t. Ivy had to move on and push any thought of Ty away. Its been years, and now Ty is coming home, to a place he absolutely didn’t want to come back to.

Laura saved the best for last. We met Ivy way back when and it definitely made readers ever more curious about her story. Ty, her first love is back and Ivy cannot let him back into her heart and allow him to destroy it again. Ty has also gone and made it big on the stage. He’s a famous star and his life isn’t in Willow Springs anymore but his heart always belonged to Ivy Baron. I love love his dialogue about Ivy. He is so in love with his girl. They have fantastic chemistry and the story flowed well. Love seeing the characters from the whole series, the towns people, a little bit of suspense thrown in there. Love this series, a bit bummed it’s come to an end, but I adored this story.

I was very lucky to be accepted to review an ARC & have extremely enjoyed this series! I found this book was the perfect ending to the Willow Springs ladies!

Please note even though this is book #5, it can also be read as a standalone.

Ivy knows who she is & she is happy. She is in her early 20s, already owns her own cottage home, owns a store & is her own boss as a wedding planner. She feels like everything is on track, the only part she is missing that man to go home to every night. She has gone on many first dates, but can't seem to find "the one".

Ty is the one who got away. Him & Ivy were high school sweethearts. Best friends since kindy, they planned their whole life together. But when Ty's family life comes crashing down, he skips town leaving Ivy & his happy ever dreams with her. He goes on to become a successful country music singer who is able to provide for his broken family. It has been 5 years since he left Ivy high & dry, and finally returns back to his hometown of Willow Springs for his sisters wedding - Hoping to reconcile with Ivy as friends.

Only when Ivy & Ty reunite, not only is it fiery & full of many arguments, there is a lust connection both can't help but act on. This lust connection turns into the love they once have. But with Ty having to go on tour soon & Ivy having to stay in Willow Springs with her successful wedding planning business, they know their love has an expiry date. But does love ever really have an expiry date?

This was a beautiful second chance / small town romance, with a side of rockstar romance. The love that Ty & Ivy have is so raw & real. I was hoping for their HEA throughout! Ivy was such a strong heroine & definitely put Ty in his place when needed. She also was the perfect girlfriend for his rockstar lifestyle & I was glad Ty saw this. Their journey is drama filled, but they do eventually get their HEA.

Being book #5 in the Willow Springs, we also get a second epilogue where we get to read about all the other couples with their children. I wouldn't be surprised if another series is written featuring their children - And I would be all here for it!

Thank you Laura for ending this series PERFECTLY!

5/5 stars with 2/5 steam.

Oh my goodness, reading this and knowing that it was the 5th and final book in the Magic Willow series was really bittersweet, I feel so very sad that it’s finished.

Ivys story was brilliant and absolutely perfect for her, having spent the 4 previous books seeing her in everyone else’s story, we really got to know the kind of person she is. However getting inside of her head just showed us so much more of her personality than what we got sneaks of. I always got the impression she was super abrupt and unbending, lovely but absolutely to the point and a stickler for the rules. Well I’m here to confirm all of that is true but there is just so much more to this girl than first meets the eye. She is the most caring person to everyone that she loves, she has a huge heart and definitely vulnerable.

Ty is so different to what I thought too, I love that we get inside his head and learn the real reason he left Ivy and his home. We learn exactly what he has been through and also some twists and turns to how that all came about in the first place. It definitely makes me feel different towards him. Ty is a super caring guy who has been struggling with his life choices and needs some help getting on top of those feelings.

This pair love each other fiercely, there is no denying that, however that doesn’t mean a relationship will come easy for them. There are definitely things they both have to overcome and hopefully help each other through these issues.

This book had me in tears a couple of times, seriously Laura you got me good!! The epilogue is just perfect for this group of girls, their husbands and their children but also heartbreaking to know that this is it.

I adored the setting of this book and think it was the perfect storyline for this pair as it really brings their past, present and future together. I loved seeing all the other Magic Willows and also enjoyed the new characters that joined us for this book. As much as I’m devastated this is over, I think you did the whole series justice with how it finished.

Thank you so much for having me as a BETA reader for this amazing series, I have loved every minute of it and feel honoured to be part of your team.

Disappointing

I couldn't finish I was too angry at how she just forgave him and then offered to be friends with benefits. No matter the circumstances he only came back to make amends because it benefited him. His therapist told him it would help with his writers block. That made me angry. And him saying that he didn't tell her because he needed to be the one to get his family out of the mess was annoying, yea he did but he lost her. If he'd let her help his pride would be hurt but he would still have her. I didn't like how she just forgave like that and wanted to "have fun". Fine forgive but don't become a doormat . Plus can't stand second chance books where the guy sleep with a lot of girls (because he has needs - come on), while the girl stayed celibate

For me this was a nice read but I felt there was something missing in it. Also I wish they mentioned her filling out in that journal for the Magic Willows because we have seen her filling in stuff for all her friends throughout the series but in this one only small quotes were used but she was not really filling stuff in.

Bravo, Laura Pavlow, Bravo, with 4, 5⭐️books already in this series, you Claimed my heart fully with Ivy and Ty's story, each page is a mesmerising must read!

M = Marvelous A = Astonishing G = Glorious I = Ingenious C = Charismatic

The Willow Springs Series has been MAGIC right from the beginning, if you have read any of the other books then you will already know the meaning behind the word Magic, as each girl's name begins with a letter in that word, that right there tells you how ingenious Laura Pavlov is and to pull off a series that time and time again delivered heartfelt stories is an achievement in itself.

Claimed is the last girls story, and I just knew that Ivy was going to be something special, and Ms Pavlov did not disappoint, as soon as Claimed hit my kindle, I put down the book I was reading, I got a take-away and lost myself in this exceptional 2nd chance romance. I didn't want to fall in love with Ty, after all at 18 he, his Mom and sister just left town, all the plans that he and Ivy had made left as dust on the floor and a heartbroken Ivy not understanding what she had done wrong, it took her girls together back on her feet again, and for 4 books she has watched on as they have all found love, now 5 years on, Ty is a world-known country singer and Ivy is the serial 1 dinner date girl, who now is the towns wedding planner, and she is about to come face to face with Ty as he returns to town for his sister's wedding.

Ty has spent the last 3 years on the road, playing in, city after city, country after country, he is burning out but his manager keeps pushing him and his band to do more, but now he is going back to the town he never wanted to see again, to finally get closure from his dad and make amends with Ivy, the only girl he has ever loved, but from day one when he sees Ivy, he knows he hurt her even more than he thought, but the chemistry and love still shine as bright as it did from the moment he fell for her all those years ago, but the one thing he is clear on he never wants to live in the town he used to call home.

Ms Pavlov brings us on an incredible journey, one of hurt, betrayal, devastation but also great love, some moments brought tears to my eyes and moments when Ivy and the girls made me chuckle and even one occasion when I am smiling and crying at the same time. I am so grateful to have gone on that journey, each book has been unique but Claimed holds a special place in my heart!

🏷️Second Chance Romance
🏷️Angst and Heartbreak over High School First love
🏷️Country Music Rockstar H, Ty
🏷️Famous Wedding Planner h, Ivy
🏷️Sensational epilogue of the lives of all the Magic Willow girl gang.

🎟️🅱🅾🅾🅺 🅿🅻🅾🆃 🆂🆄🅼🅼🅰🆁🆈 🎟️
This book is of I in the Magic Willow besties girl gang. Ivy is running her own business as she's being planning weddings in her town of Willow Springs.

Even after five years, of her first high school love leaving town and her being heartbroken over Ty, she's still yet to be lucky in love no matter how many times she's tried on the dating sites.

After seeing all her besties find love, she yearns for the same but seems to be unable to get over her feelings fir Ty.

Ty is a famous country music Rockstar now. He's left Willows Springs years back and now is back for his sister, Talia's wedding.
He's looking forward to it as the wedding planner is none other than Ivy, the only girl he's ever loved.
He's in therapy trying to deal with his past and at the same time wants to meet Ivy and explain why he left all those years ago.

🅼🆈 🅵🅴🅴🅻🅸🅽🅶🆂 : 🥰

This one was funny and witty in typical fashion that this series has been. I had a blast reading the girl gang coming on and planning the very first time Ivy is to meet Ty and then rehearsing and Ivy doing the opposite, it was hilarious. 😂😂

Also, even though I felt for Ty and his reasons of leaving town all those years ago but I couldn't get why he was so being stubborn in wanting something serious.
Yet that guy was writing songs for Ivy and unable to stop seeing her.

AHH.. That epilogue just was freaking awesome but the second epilogue... Oh my... I was giddy with happiness over how the girls' lives had turned out to be and where they were with their loves. It was everything, Heart warming and swooning. I just can't get over this series and the Magic Willows girl gang for sure. Each book has taken over my heart for sure. Loved loved freaking loved this series. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We have reached the last book in the Willow Springs series. I am not sure I am ready for that, but here we go anyways. Ivy, our beautiful wedding planner that had so much planned out their senior year to have it all ripped away without a backward glance. This poor girl had no idea what happened or why but one minute life was perfect with Ty and the next he was gone, and she was left with a broken heart. 5 years later, she is planning his sister’s wedding and she knows that she is going to see him. The walls that were build are firmly in place as is that blocked number. Here’s the problem with all of that, when your heart is still so firmly in love with someone everything you planned means nothing when you look into the eyes of the person who still holds it.

Ivy has been so successful with her career. The things she planned out once college started all came to fruition, but life on the other side isn’t happening. No one is worth a second date which is frustrating to her.

Ty Greene may be a successful country singer, but life has not been what he had hoped these past 5 years. He left Willow Springs as soon as the scandal that his father got them all in hit. Knowing he needed to distance himself from the town and everyone in it, including the one girl he has always loved. Coming off his first country music award and a successful tour, he has to go home to be a part of his sister’s wedding. Knowing that he will see Ivy again, he is trying to find his muse to write songs again. These two have such a history you want to root for them from the very start, but life has hills and valleys and these two have some mountains to overcome.

Now, my two cents. I love this series, that is no secret. The girls are everything you hope to have in life. They are there for each other no matter what and do whatever is necessary to protect each other. We have come to love the men in their lives as much as we love the girls. This second chance love though, there is something special about it. All the girls know Ty, since they were all in the same class and graduated together. Ty and Jett are basically best friends and you know that is going to lead to some interesting times with Jett and Addy since both want to help their friend. Watching as the friends all come together and catch up, I had tears. You get to witness the closeness that we saw in Frayed come back around in Claimed. Laura always does a fantastic job writing, but this series, there is just some true magic in it. I am beyond sad we are done here in Willow Springs, but I promise Laura gave us the most beautiful gift in the epilogue.

I can hardly believe this is the end of the beloved Magic Willows! Claimed is the final book in the series, and my favourite of them all. I have long anticipated Ivy and Ty's story and was so worth the wait. Their story is beautiful and complicated but their love is one of the epic loves, that truly stands the test of time. Ivy and Ty fell head over heels for each other in their teens. Ty ended up leaving town and breaking Ivy’s heart. He’s now back home and ready to make amends with her but she isn’t going to make it that easy on him. I loved Ty’s fire and determination. He wouldn’t let her cold shoulder deter him. He is a man on a mission and will stop at nothing to insert himself in her life again that will have them crossing each other paths every chance he gets and be in the same room with one another.

Maura, Addy, Gigi, Ivy and Coco make up the fantastic girl group of the magic willows. No matter where they are at in their lives they have each other’s back and I fell head over heels for this group with Addy’s book in Frayed and my love for them has never waned. This is a small town second chance love story that wraps up the series perfectly. The passion, love and heartbreak these two characters go through was so beautifully written. There is just something about a couple in a second chance love story that goes so much deeper emotionally and I was routing for them the whole time. By the end of the second epilogue my heart was full, I had tears streaming down my face and I could not be happier how it all ended. If small town romance and second chance love stories are your jam you MUST pick this one up. It is a must read. In fact the entire series is.
