Claremont's Drive-Boo Halloween 2020
Calling on all Halloween Decorators please join the Claremont Parks & Recreation Department, the Greater Claremont Chamber of Commerce, and Riverbank Church for a family-friendly Halloween event held at Monadnock Park on October 31, 2020, from 3-6pm.  The event is a drive-through style event for area families. We will line the park with area businesses, organizations, and individuals (Halloween Decorators) who will each decorate a space. This event will be held this year in place of Hallowesta, our annual downtown trick-or-treating event, due to the current pandemic.  This event will allow for the physical distancing of both participants and Halloween Decorators; providing a safe Halloween event for the community.

Additional Event Information
Participants will be asked to remain in their vehicles throughout the event.  We are strongly encouraging the use of masks by all participating Halloween Decorators throughout the event. There will be accommodations made for families wishing to participate without vehicles in the form of a separate safe walking path.  Each Halloween Decorator will receive a space, approximately  10'x10',  to set up and decorate a family-friendly display in.  There will be a contest for best-decorated space with prizes awarded.  There will be ample setup time for all Halloween Decorators on the day of the event.  Additional set up information will be sent 1 week prior to the event via the email address you provide below.  The deadline for registration is Wednesday, October 28, 2020.
Candy & Treats Distribution Information
All candy, toys, trinkets, etc., will be given in one bag at the end of the drive-through event.  We are asking all who are able to donate items or provide monetary donations for treat bags to bring them to the CSB Community Center no later than October 23, 2020.  Halloween Decorators will not be handing items out directly to vehicles to maintain safe and steady traffic flow.  All candy donations must be individually wrapped and we are unable to accept any homemade treats.  We plan to assemble 1000+ bags for children in the community. One Halloween Goodie bag of "treats" will be given per child.
