The Kenosha Yacht Club Bar & Grille is one of Kenosha’s best, So we decide to shine the bartender spotlight on Cole and see what makes him one of Kenosha’s favorite bartenders…

Q. How long have you been bartending at the Kenosha Yacht Club Bar & Grille ?

Cole: A little over a year and a half, you can’t beat that view.

Q.What do you love about bartending?
Cole: Being able to make new connections with my patrons, also making new drinks that people haven’t tried before.

Q.Favorite band you’ve seen at the Kenosha Yacht Club Bar & Grille?
Cole: Not a band but Dj Diego, not only did he bring in a great crowd and atmosphere to serve but the music and talent he brought with him made that weekend one to remember.

Q.What do you love about Downtown Kenosha?

Cole: There’s tons of things to do, even when the winter comes. For example live music outside, fireworks, harbor market, the various restaurants, even ice skating. If you can’t find something different nothing beats just meeting a friend for a drink.

Q.What goes into making the cocktail menu?
Cole: A LOT of trial and error. Everyone has their own taste and finding that taste to cater to can be a challenge but you’ll always find a way.

Q. What is your favorite cocktail to make?
Cole: Surprisingly a Wisconsin old fashioned, Sure muddling can be annoying but nothing beats a smiling face after that first sip.

Q. To you, what makes the Kenosha Yacht Club stand out from the other bars/restaurants?
Cole: It may be a little out of the way but not only can you enjoy a great meal and cocktail, the ambience is tremendous from the staff to sitting on the water listening to the waves and seeing all the boats float past.

Q. Tell us your best bar joke
Cole: Ever had a Michigan on the rocks?

Q. Can you tell us about the new food menu at Kenosha Yacht Club Bar & Grille?
Cole: I think it’s excellent, Chef Matt has really put in work for us to have this new menu and he has not disappointed, my favorite meal would have to be the ribeye with the herb roasted fingerling potatoes, I’m a sucker for steak but I also love the Risotto he makes as well!

Q. Best advice you’ve received behind the bar?
Cole: Don’t invest in crypto currency.

Q. What do you do for fun when you’re not working?
Cole: I love streaming, video games, and eating food.

Q. What is your favorite drink?
Cole: Mojito

Q. Tell us a little about yourself & how you got into bartending?
Cole: I come from a huge family, twenty two siblings. I got into bartending after being a cook for three years, bartending has always fascinated me.

Q. If there was one drink that you would never have to make again what drink would that be?Cole: Bloody Mary.

Q. Know any bar tricks?
