Shutters for the community fridge frome

The community fridge was set up to help minimise food waste from our town. It first opened on the 30th April 2016 at the loop de loop near Frome library.

This was the first community fridge in the uk, and was launched with Edventure Frome and Frome town council.

The community fridge has a dedicated team of volunteers and they have worked really hard through the pandemic helping provide food for our community.

The reason for this fundraising is we have glass doors on the from of our fridge. From time to time we have suffered vandalism and it would be lovely to put some shop shutters on the front of it to keep it safe.

we are a non profit project, and community and food waste is at the very heart of our project.
