Community Hours: Platform 2.3 — Sending HTTP requests using Request Templates

We are gearing up to release a new Platform version 2.3 for Freshworks apps. This Platform version introduces Request Templates, a security upgrade to the Request Method that lets developers define HTTP requests’ configurations as JSON.

This session will cover why we have made this change, how HTTP requests work under this model, and how developers can migrate existing app code to the new model.

Agenda

  • Why we upgraded Request Method
  • How to send HTTP requests using request templates
  • How to migrate existing app code
  • Best practices and tips on writing request templates

What’s in it for you!

This session will be useful for maintainers of existing Freshworks apps (public or custom apps), as well as newcomers to the Freshworks ecosystem. If your app sends an HTTP request, you should join this session

You can also have your question ready beforehand, as we have a live Q&A during the session, where our fantastic DevExperts will answer your questions.

Can’t attend live? You should still register. We’ll share the recording after the session.
We are looking forward to seeing you at the next event!
