About this ebook

A sexy, small town, opposites attract rom com!

He wears suits and ties. He'll one day inherit a fortune. He has a law degree. He shines his shoes, for God's sake. What is she doing attracted to a guy like him? But she is. She so is.

She drives air boats on the bayou, drinks and cusses, and gives city boys in suits a hard time just for fun. Why can't he get her out of his mind? But he can't. He definitely can't.

A weekend trip to Savannah for a fancy-schmancy party with his highfalutin family is the surefire way to prove that they have nothing in common but intense chemistry. And to maybe scratch this I've-never-wanted-anyone-like-I-want-you itch once or twice. Or five times.

But it takes only about twenty-four hours for the bayou girl and the city boy to figure out that they don't really know much at all--about each other, or about themselves. And figuring all of this out is going to be downright crazy.

I realized that if you never do anything new, you never learn anything. And learning things changes you. Even if those things aren’t what you intended to learn. ⁣ Bennett and Kennedy have been flirting with each other for a very long time but Kennedy always thought it was just harmless flirting. So when he requests that she go to Savannah with him, she is surprised. Not sure how she is going to fit in, Bennett tells her to just be herself so his family will see how much he does not want the life they want him to have. After spending some real-time together they realize that they really do not know each other or themselves. ⁣ Officially my favourite Boys of the Bayou book. The tension between Bennett and Kennedy has been brewing since the second book and I have been waiting anxiously to get their story. The banter between them is hot, fierce and hilarious. As much as Bennett and Kennedy were opposites on the outside they are perfect for each other on the inside. They both took me by surprise from what I thought that they would be like from the prior books. The chemistry between them was like a burning inferno. I totally recommend this book. ⁣ Audio: This was my first time listening to these narrators and I really enjoyed both of them. They both did a great job bringing the characters and story to life and were both great with the southern accents.

Erin Nicholas is one of those authors, and Boys of the Bayou is one of those series where just having Crazy Rich Cajuns in your possession is a distinct pleasure. But as delicious as that feeling is, it won't hold you forever ;) Crazy Rich Cajuns is definitely one of those books where on the one hand, it can't get into my eyeballs fast enough, and on the other hand, I want to prolong the experience as much as possible because I'm going to love every second and will be so sad when it's done. Crazy Rich Cajuns is the fourth in this series set in Autre in the Louisiana bayou, and is the long-awaited story featuring Kennedy Landry and Bennett Baxter. Kennedy is the "baby" at the Boys of the Bayou, with a host of older brothers and cousins and loving family to keep a watchful eye on her hijinks. And because of that loving support, Kennedy has definitely forged her own path. A former star of the pageant circuit, Kennedy sports her changing hair and permanent tattoos with aplomb, and with her smart wit and equally smart mouth, will never take anything lying down. And with all that familial support, she's the Boys of the Bayou's sole full-time employee, so she's an heiress of sorts to the swamp boat tour company her family's lovingly built with their own hands. Bennett is heir to a different sort of empire. He's all slick suits and polished business acumen, and multiple degrees from excellent institutions of higher learning. While his lawyerly self can get the better end of any legal matter, it's likely he'd easily end up alligator bait in Autre. So... what's this ridiculous chemistry that sparks between these two? Why can't they stay in their own lanes? The beauty of love and the beauty of an Erin Nicholas story is that THIS is where the magic is. Another thing about Erin Nicholas stories is the many hidden depths. Crazy Rich Cajuns is no exception. While I expected and very happily enjoyed the witty banter and the wisecracking, flirty fun, Ms Nicholas also brings it home with all the layers to Bennett and Kennedy. We readers have the pleasure of seeing them wrestle with uncovering and discovering who they believe themselves to be, who they believe each other to be, and who they are figuring out they really are. The Boys of the Bayou series is also very much about the love of family, and Crazy Rich Cajuns delivers there as well. Not everyone in the story starts off as a Kennedy fan (it's just shocking, isn't it? ;) ), but her big heart and willingness to go to the mat for those she loves? That wins her some important hearts, and I'm blinking back the tears. Ms Nicholas brings ALL the feels! One other thing I loved about Crazy Rich Cajuns is that at the core, Bennett really is kind of a nerd. Those glasses aren't just for show, and he really IS a geeky science-loving lawyer. But that passion not only wins us over, it bowls Kennedy over. And when Kennedy's gears get spinning, world? WATCH OUT. Ms Nicholas lets us see that when we pursue what wows us and drives us, we can do incredible things. We real people can have real impact in our families and lives and communities. Crazy Rich Cajuns is a feast for your heart. It satisfies like nothing else on the first read (not even a crawfish boil!) and every re-read to come.

Crazy Rich Cajuns by Erin Nicholas is the fourth book in her fabulous Boys of the Bayou series. This is the standalone romantic tale of Kennedy Landry, the Landry sister that runs them all and keeps them straight, and Bennet Baxter, the rich business mogul/lawyer/environmentalist that is now part owner in Boys of the Bayou airboat tours. The constant back and forth bickering between them has been evident in the previous books. Always sharp tongued with a hint of flirtation. Each one antagonising the other just so they'd have an excuse to interact more. When Bennet takes Kennedy with him to his parents home in Georgia for his father's retirement party it clearly moves their flirtation into potential relationship and it is HOT! The emotional issues each of them has and works through in this short trip is astounding and the heat of their romance is off the charts while the charm of their families and futures and bonding is consistent with the rest of the series and is absolutely heart-warming. Definitely a must-read author for me at this point - this book was awesome! Enjoy!
