Mixed Media Lady
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Crimson 04, Light Green 12, Orange 17, Flesh Tint 30, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, 10” X 12” Fine Art Canvas Board, Fine Art Brushes, A3 White Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper, Pencil, White Pencil, Cobbler Thread, Paper Cutter, Clay Carving Tools, Scissors, Colour Palette, Water Container

A piece d’art is this mixed media canvas which gives a tribute to women at large. Customize this art piece and gift it to the strong women around you!
STEP 1 : Source the base and draw the design
- We are going to make the canvas with Mixed media face of a lady.
- Take A3 white paper.
- Draw the face of lady with composition of the motifs like trishul, beetel leaf, lotus and the word like Durga, Narayani on it.
- Take a 10” x 12” canvas board; trace the same design on it with a yellow carbon paper.
STEP 2 : Paint the background
- Paint the background and the hair of the lady face with acrylic Colour Black 02, Crimson 04 and Orange 17.
- Let it dry.
- Enhance the design on her hair with a white pencil.
- Refer to the image.
STEP 3 : Mix Fevicryl Mouldit
- We are using Mixed media techniques on the canvas with Mouldit and the cobbler thread.
- Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 4 : Make and Paint the motifs
- Take the dough to make basic shapes like trishul, beetel leaf.
- Let it dry.
- Stick the cobbler thread to make the hair of the lady along with the words like Durga and Narayani using Fabric Glue.
- Let it dry.
- Paint the motifs and the words with Acrylic Colours Black 02, Crimson 04, Light Green 12, Orange 17 and Pearl Metallic Gold 352.
- Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 5 : Finishing
- Take some clay to make the neck jewellery of the lady with cobbler thread and Mouldit using Fabric Glue for sticking.
- Paint the face with Acrylic Colours Black 02, Crimson 04 and Flesh Tint 30, paint the jewellery with Pearl Metallic Gold 352. Let it dry.
- Stick the cobbler thread on one side of the face using Fabric Glue.
- Leave it to dry completely.
