ErieX - April.20.2023, 7pm

Erie High School's 6th annual Erie X night is just around the corner and this year's lineup of presenters is sure to impress!

Erie X is based off of Ted X's Ted Talks, presentations dubbed ideas worth spreading. Erie X night has become one of Erie High School's most prestigious academic showcases which draws from student work in Erie High School's AP Research, Lang, Speech & Debate, Creative Writing, and more!

14+ Recommended: Erie X Night features student work that spans a myriad of topics chosen by our high school students. All presentation topics are appropriate for high school students but are often serious in nature as we encourage our students to explore topics that are both meaningful and engaging.

2023 Presentation Line Up

TBD

Each year Erie X audience members contribute to a scholarship that one student presenter wins at the end of the night. Students use this money to support their post secondary endeavors! We will have water, cookies, and snacks available at our concession stand for donations on the night of the event. If you'd like to donate online, click the logo to the left. Thank you for your support in the ongoing academic success of one of our brilliant EHS scholars!

Here are some stories of how our previous scholarship winners used this money to contribute to their academic goals.

2021 Scholarship recipient, Ally Morton

Presenting at ErieX was an incredible opportunity, and I am thrilled and grateful to have received the ErieX scholarship. The scholarship money will be helpful for paying for my college tuition, as I plan to pursue a degree in environmental science, and will help me pursue my dream of becoming an environmental scientist!

2019 scholarship recipient, Julie Bremser
2018 scholarship recipient, Olivia Stecina

The scholarship gave me the opportunity to secure my position within Columbia College Chicago's filmmaking program as quickly as my heart had settled on it. Because of this boost, I was able to ensure that I found security of admission and housing, and could start working on achieving my dream of making documentaries.

2017 scholarship recipient, John Mirabassi

I won the Erie X scholarship in 2017. I now attend the Colorado School of Mines [and am studying biochemical engineering]. The money I won went towards my freshman year tuition. Erie X was a great learning experience that helped me prepare for college.
