The Echunga Netball Club will be running a “Future Stars Academy” training programme over the summer of 2023/2024. After a successful program launch in 2022/23, and based on the Net Set Go programme we will be offering these sessions as a more cost-effective way for you to access the Sports Voucher programme. This also allows a more date friendly programme for your child to move into playing netball following the Academy in the year they turn 7.
The cost for the Future Stars Academy is $100. This includes 10-hour long sessions commencing on 1 November 2023 (Week 3, Term 4) through to 6 December 2023 (Week 8, Term 4), then recommencing on 14 February 2024 (Week 3, Term 1) for 4 sessions, finishing on 6 March 2024 (Week 6, Term 1). During the course of the Academy participants will receive a singlet and water bottle. At the final session, participants will receive a medallion and certificate. Costs can be covered by the use of the Government Sports Voucher Programme (download the form here) or through EFT to our Club bank account.
Sessions will run from 3.45-4.45pm on Wednesday nights at our courts situated at the Hahndorf end of the Echunga Recreation Grounds. Our Club has use of the half court shed in case of either rain or heat so our sessions will go ahead on any given night.
