In the midst of the pandemic there are ways for us to come together as Friends, to be in community and seek the Spirit's leadings. Come join us at this year's Virtual Gathering. Workshops offerings will including Quaker theology, social justice and change, art, movement and more. Below is a sampling of the workshops, more options can be found on the Gathering website. Please do note the three choices of workshop times.

This year the Gathering will be experimenting with Pay as Led.
FGC Worship and Worship Sharing are continuing now.
FGC's Saturday night worship will continue, and there are also worship sharing groups now available. Please see below to sign up.
Workshops will be held on Zoom, a web-based program many Quaker meetings and churches are currently using to organize Meeting for Worship. Some workshops leaders have said participation by phone is ok - those are noted in the workshop descriptions.
Three different timeblocks for workshops:
Monday-Friday Workshops consist of five sessions (Monday, June 29 through Friday, July 3). Each session runs from 1:30-3pm EDT (10:30am-12pm PDT)
Sunday, June 28 Workshops consist of three 90-minute sessions each at 11:30am-1pm, 2-3:30pm, and 4:30-6pm, EDT (8:30am-10am, 11am-12:30pm, and 1:30-3pm PDT)
Saturday, July 4 Workshops consist of three 90-minute sessions each at 11:30am-1pm, 2-3:30pm, and 4:30-6pm, EDT (8:30am-10am, 11am-12:30pm, and 1:30-3pm PDT)

For those wanting to become more whole-heartedly receptive and responsive to divine guidance.
Early Quaker Theology: A Reevaluation, with Stephen Angell
This workshop will look at the theological contributions of four early Friends: Dorothy White, Samuel Fisher, Richard Farnworth, and Margaret Fell.
Way Will Open in the Studio, with Zan Lombardo
Under Zan's direction, participants draw, color and write to create understanding about the yin/yang nature of our existence.
Climate Change Journey: Awakening to Hope, with Emily Northrup
Our workshop will move along the trajectory from awakening to the crisis to hope for addressing it.
Quakerism 101: An Introduction, with Michael Levi & Jade Eaton
This workshop is intended primarily for relative newcomers to Quakerism. We will explore Friends’ spirituality, history, and practices.
Decolonizing Our Future: A Road to Liberation, with Nia Eubanks-Dixon, is a workshop that walks participants through the process of building and implementing liberation principles for themselves and for systemic change work.
Couple Dialogue: A Spiritual Practice, with Mike & Marsha Green
Come explore the spiritual practice of Couple Dialogue. We invite couples to reconnect with their beloved and to the Spirit within and between them.
There are a number of worship sharing groups available, hosted by the groups listed below. Most groups are meeting monthly; Worship Sharing for People of Color is meeting weekly.

Worship has been rich and meaningful to Friends who gathered over the past month. FGC will continue to offer weekly worship Saturday at 9:00 PM Eastern.
