Click here Talking to the WorldWorld of James Herriot md Ian Ashton and Discover Hambleton's Emma Hudson talking about Herriot Country to buyers at the World Travel Market Hi there, Our international marketing campaign began with a bang at the World Travel Market London on 7th, 8th and 9th November as we joined the UKInbound pavilion at the show. We met over 250 contacts including inbound tour operators, international journalists, package tour specialists and 'go as you please' operators looking for interesting products to include in their programmes for 2023/24 and beyond. All Creatures Great and Small was clearly a hot topic at the show and we have already placed a series of ten tour dates with an operator for 2023. The slog is always after the show and we are working through our contact lists following up on those valuable discussions. Another initial outcome is an Italian Radio station coming to visit World of James Herriot in January to film and interview for their online content and broadcasts. "E una notizia fantastica!" Get ready to welcome many more international visitors to Herriot Country in 2023... Thank you, and please, feel free to call me on 07967 032623 Best wishes, John Gallery, chairman, Herriot Country Tourism.
