My heart is bursting with happiness. I can still feel the emotions from Peighton and Morgan's story. Second chances are always so beautiful because the characters have to grow and move on from their past hurts to move forward together. That's what happens with them. The chemistry is electric and I just love this town. I just finished the audio and the narrators did an amazing of bringing the characters to life and I couldn't stop listening.

Morgan put his family before himself and the love of his life once before. He swears to never do it again. Peighton swears to never go back to where she grew up. She remembers pain and nothing good. Will time heal all wounds and change the way we think about the past? Peighton and Morgan are good characters that make you want everything to go in their favor. Their story and their connection had to pause, but Morgan wants to reconnect and will do everything he can think of to remind Peighton of all the good things that she has forgotten about them and their childhood town. I love the connection that they have together and how well they go together even when Peighton tries to not let it affect her. Love, new memories, and connection help these two find a Christmas miracle. I like how much Morgan puts himself out there and how much he wants to right the wrongs of his past. The ties that bind these two together are strong and withstand all that has happened to them. I received an ARC of this book. This is my honest and voluntary review and opinion.

This author never fails to grab your heart and squeeze deep emotions out of it. It's a delightful story about 2nd chances and love that won't be denied. Morgan gave up so much, and "Julia" escaped hurt into a world of her own, making for a decade to hide the hurt. Now it crashes together in an inescapable event. Will they finally find each other? Read, you won't be disappointed!
