Paper Lanterns: Fine Motor Cutting Practice

You only need 2 pieces of colored paper to make these cute paper lanterns. Print the 2 templates on different colored paper. Students will develop fine motor skills as they practice cutting. You can add Washi tape to the edges too. We added a math skill by numbering our strips and adding corresponding dots to each strip. Perfect to celebrate the Lunar New Year, the beginning of Autumn, or a winter holiday.
