Qwickly Apps Module No Longer Available in Blackboard

Starting this term (SU22), the Qwickly Apps module is no longer available in Blackboard. Qwickly has ended life of this feature.

The Qwickly Apps module appeared on the My Institution page of Blackboard and allowed for sending communications to multiple course sections, changing the availability of multiple course sections, and navigating "needs grading" information.

While the Qwickly Apps module is no longer available on the Blackboard My Institution page, the Qwickly Attendance tool is still available and announcements and emails can still be sent from each course section. In addition, Remind can be used as an alternative to quickly reach students in your courses.

Spring 2021 Course Section Removal Begins June 6

Due to data storage caps on the Blackboard SaaS system, IT will be removing courses from the Spring 2021 Term from our system.

Removal will begin on Monday, June 6, 2022.

This means that if you have courses and/or content from the Spring 2021 Term that you want to use or save going forward that have not already been exported, backed up, or copied into more recent courses, you will need to export your courses and/or download any files prior to the deletion date.

Not sure how to begin with this process? We’ll take you through the steps--just click on the button below!

Download Your Spring 2022 Collaborate Ultra Recordings

In order to stay within the allocated storage limits for Blackboard Collaborate, content must be removed after the end of each term. All recordings created through the end of 2022SP Term will be deleted from the Collaborate Ultra server on June 6, 2022.

If you want to backup or reuse videos from the past term that were recorded with Collaborate Ultra, you will need to download the recordings before the deletion deadline. You may store the recording files on your own devices or share them with current and future classes via YuJa.

You'll find instructions below to help you in this process:
