I was two years old when I participated in my first music competition. Fast-forward to the year 2011, my life path gained momentum when a fateful meeting with a healer and yoga teacher introduced me to the spiritual world. This made an unerasable imprint in my consciousness while awakening a strong longing to discover the full potential of my being. In the year 2014 I was blessed to meet my spiritual master (Gurudev). This encounter gave my music an extra push, and it quickly developed from pop music to folk music. Through this shift I managed to engage many followers in singing and healing through ancient Latvian folk-songs while meditating on the Divine. During this period of time I got inspired to compose my own songs while expressing the love for the Divine, which led to the release of two music albums: “Dvēseles dziesma” (2014) and “Zelta trepes” (2018). Finally, this path has lead me to sacred music, including Sanskrit prayers that I was blessed to find as my inspiration, while absorbing myself more and more into the devotional path. My personal experience of the potency of Sanskrit motivated me to share this treasure with other people, so I started to lead public mantra singing circles since 2018. During these 10 years of immersing myself in sacred Sanskrit music and chants, I am very confident to state that Sanskrit prayers can heal all and bring fulfilment to the hearts of people, which is in very high demand, especially during present times. I am also sharing the “Voice SPA” method through workshops and courses, while guiding people into the mystery of Sound. This method provides tools to develop one’s voice and its flexibility, while balancing the flow of inner-energy and the ability to connect within. “In a simple kirtan performance, LalitaDasika is able to uplift the mood and make people forget their minds, dancing and singing to the sound of these ancient holy mantras.” – Aaradhakananda, International Music Coordinator for the Bhakti Marga organisation, at Shree Peetha Nilaya ashram, Germany. On march 2023 I released my third album and first debut mantra album that makes me happy cause though music i talk to the other souls.
